We were watching Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends and the house left Bloo behind cause he's naughty. Well he couldn't think of anything to do so he was watching the Weather Channel and it was hot in Topeka. So he said hot in Topeka like 5000 different ways, fast, slow etc....If you watch Foster's regularly You'll get it!

Patchchild - I thought of you this morning when I saw a delay for Shirley scroll across the bottom of my TV screen. Sorry you got hit with a last blast. We just got a little bit of a mess around rush hour yesterday but luckily it's all melted now. Let's hope we are officially done with winter!

Mickster we are not out of the woods yet this morning I heard flurries for Friday into Saturday. And we were going to Easter egg hunt at the Philly zoo, not so sure now. Only mid 40's.

I KNOW! I heard that on the news tonight. So depressing. I really like wearing my capris. I hate my jeans and now I have to start wearing them again. My legs get too cold. Oh, woe is me...

I don't believe this! DH came in from watching the news tonight and said, "You better keep an eye on the weather this week - they're predicting sn** for next weekend!" Of course 7 days is way too far out for them to predict anything accurately, but how flipping insane is that? When we were not getting any white stuff all winter he joked, "We'll get it all in April. Imagine if it's sn**ing when we leave for Florida?" I said, no way - April 16 is clearly out of the woods. Are you kidding me!?!

Actually, we leave on Marathon Monday so can you imagine the runners trekking through the slush? That would be a first!

Well, if it is any consolation it's getting colder here too. It's supposed to get down to 69 degrees on Thursday.

Okay, that wasn't nice.

DH is actually tired of all our sun, and wants us to move to Denver (we've been talking about it for about 6 months). He was just there yesterday for the MLS opening game for the Colorado Rapids. Didn't even break 30 degrees. I told him, "That didn't sound very convincing."

I'm so sick of snow!!!!! Next week is April vacation and I usually spend it getting the garden ready and cleaned out. This year, I'm starting to feel like I'll be luck to see the garden at all.

More snow for Thursday, this is crazy.

DH is actually tired of all our sun, and wants us to move to Denver (we've been talking about it for about 6 months). He was just there yesterday for the MLS opening game for the Colorado Rapids. Didn't even break 30 degrees. I told him, "That didn't sound very convincing."

Yep, MLS will play in that weather.. WE had a travel soccer game for my DS10on Saturday.. it was a whopping 30 degrees and a major wind.. The boys were freezing.. He asked me.. "Mommy, why did you stand out in that cold?"..I told him "honey, if you play in it (WHICH I WAS SO NOT HAPPY ABOUT), I'm going to stand outside and freeze too and I'm going to cheer to keep you thinking about the game and not the cold (hard thing not to think about).." WE took him to get food after the game and warm up.. That was awful! They tied... so it was a good game!

I can not believe all the cold & sn** we had. The sn** didn't stick around, but it sure did it's damage before it left. My poor hydrangea are black. I don't know if they will recover or not. And I had them wrapped in flannel, but the wind here was so bad that not even bricks would keep it down completely. My dayliliies, daffidols, tulips, they can all be expendable. As they aren't expensive to replace if necessary. And easy to plant. Jab the screwdriver into the ground. Wiggle it around. Drop in the bulb. Cover with new dirt. All done. It's the bigger ones that I cannot afford to replace or want to mess around with removing.

Anyway, off to wake up the little one. Chic-fil-A has free chicken biscuits this week. Next week it's free 3-count minis.

We are just getting colder here, knock on wood.
We don't plant our garden til May for this very reason.
