Who Pool Hops?

add us to the "We pool hope every time we stay at a DVC resort on points" crowd. I think this would be a terrible benefit to loose! It's great to have a change of scenery!

We have only stayed in a DVC resort once - OKW but, we are VWL members and tried to hop to WL pool. But, it was January and the rain started pouring down so we had the character breakfast instead!

We definitely will pool hop though. We like Stormalong Bay, so we will definitely go there a couple of hours. We intend to stay at BWV so the kids can take advantage of the pool there. I would also like to try the Cont pool, the new Poly Pool, Fort Wilderness, the new GF pool (thought could try there while the kids are on the Pirate Cruise!). The kids love the PO pool so will have to go there and they would also like to try Coronado Springs pool. There's just so many pools to try. Would also like to take a look over at the All Stars ones, as we are curious about the resort itself.

We never pool hop, just seems like a hassle to me. I also don't choose my resort by the pool it has. We do use the pools where ever we stay but any resort's pool is fine. We wouldn't care if it were removed as a perk but I think WDW would get better results by stopping locals and others from pool hopping and leaving the DVCers alone.

As far as the BWV people being the largest PH group so far I would think that's because SAB (the pool of all pools) is so easy to hop over to from BW.

I don't pool hop but this is one of my neice's favorite things to do. She also rates the pools: the BC has the best, BWV (my home resort) is next. She didn't like the VWL very much (no slides).

However I have always enjoyed visiting other resorts for meals or shopping. I started this before I became a DVC member.
