Some of you may not even know what a podcast is. Well, let me educate the ones that don't because there are some really amazing Disney park related podcasts out there...including mine
A podcast is nothing more than an internet radio show. It's an MP3 file that anyone can download and listen to. The reason they call it podcasting is because it is "broadcasted" to the masses via free subscriptions. Basically, you find a topic you are interested in and a show that fits that topic and you subscribe to it using a podcatcher / podcast aggregator. Podcatching software is free and the most popular one is, of course, ITunes which comes with the IPod. You use your podcatcher software to subscribe to a show and the software automatically looks for new shows that appear online and it grabs them for you without any effort. Here's a link for the second best podcatcher out there:

You don't need an Ipod to listen to the file that the podcatcher brings down for you. As I said before, they are standard MP3 files which you can listen to on your PC or any other device that plays MP3's.
How does this relate to Disney? Well, there are MANY wonderful Disney related podcasts out there. Most of them feature audio from inside the parks and are just plain fun. Below you can find all the info on my podcast. I take stereo audio ride-thrus and provide humorous commentary...it's just like hanging out in the parks with me.
So, give podcasting a chance...it's addictive.
