That wishes dessert party looks AMAZING! I want to try it!! I probably won't for a few years... but oh my goodness like.. I would have eaten everything! it all looked incredibly delicious!!

Yay for twenty days

They serve tea, coffee and lemonade at least those are the ones I remember them serving they may have had more juice type beverages.

Family and I (well, my wife and I are considering....though all 5 of us would be attending) are considering the Dessert Party for an upcoming October trip (assuming it's still running).

Those pictures might have just sealed the deal! The view looks great and the food looks YUM-O (if I can steal a Rachel Ray-ism).

Now my only concern is how it "plays out" with the new castle show....and wondering if we could get a parade spot, watch the parade at the hub, and then quickly hoof it over to the party.

You could definitely do that as long as you line up to get your wristbands prior to the dessert party starting. Once you have your wrist bands and have checked in I believe it is okay to go do something then come back. I entered in after the party started but I had my wrist band so it wasn't an issue.

We tried the dessert party a couple of weeks ago and had a great time as well.
It was freezing that night but it was so nice to have seats with a great view of the fireworks!
And we even caught the new Photopass show before the fireworks from the party!

Wow those pics are amazing!!! And I have only read bad things about the Dessert Party, and that looks to be quite the contrary! I would love to take my girls to that. I wish they did it early in the day, I can't imagine eating that so close to bed. lol (but I would certainly try!! )

My favorite pic is the castle reflecting in the water, I have day ones like that but never thought to do a night one. Great photography!!

Great update!

I noticed a couple of things....your favorite drink is a lava smoothie...Jasmine's favorite drink is a lava smoothie.....you love corn dogs from Casey's....Jasmine loves corn dogs from Casey's....do you think it has something to do with all three of us being scorpios too!!! I have a funny feeling we are going to have the best time this summer!!!

WDP.....I have no words...I was drooling all over the computer....I could just taste those chocolate covered strawberries!!! YUM!!

Yay!!! We love the Wishes Dessert Party too! It's such a nice party with delicious desserts! I never even thought about the fact that they don't have soda there...that is odd! Just water, tea, lemonade and coffee. You'd think one of those portable little fountain machines wouldn't be too much work to wheel into there.

It is a great party!

I hope that they eventually add coke it doesn't have too much variety when it comes to the drinks

Glad that you liked the corn dog nuggets. I thought they were great when I tried them too.

I was really surprised that I liked them I am not a huge fan of corn dogs but I knew I had to try them just because I heard a lot about them on the DIS

All of the food was amazing I can't wait to go again in May!

While we loved the party and can't wait to go again, in your situation I'd probably advise skipping it. You wouldn't get your money's worth if you're on the DeluxePlan and I think it would be tough to get back and forth between the parade and fireworks. We liked seeing MSEP from the party while we ate but I wouldn't have wanted that to be the only time we saw it as it wasn't that close up. Maybe you could do the party on another visit when you have more MK time? If you do go though... GO HUNGRY!
