Yay I am glad you agree on GMR! I feel like a lot of people wish that it would be changedI also love the Great Movie Ride! I agree-- I love that they preserve the classics! DBF got so excited on our first trip during the Singin in the Rain scene!

I love that scene!
Wow, it certainly looks like you were up early since it's still dark outside in the photos. And ummm, that clown slide, even freakier at night I think. I do think the water slide disquised as the wooden coaster is cool.
That bakery looks yummy. Are you getting a cupcake for a snack? Because those are divine at Starring Rolls.
I was up pretty early

It is creepy but I am glad the eyes weren't lit up!
I do love the roller coaster slide

We did get a cupcake another day

Wow, I can't believe you went to the gym every morning in Disney. I have a hard enough time working out when I'm home. And it was still dark out. You rock
What a cute blueberry muffin. Everything looks so good at the bakery.
Clowns don't scare me and we are considering BWV for a few days on our next trip but the pictures of the clown with the eyes lit up are a little creepy.
We skipped the movie ride last trip b/c I know DD want recognize anything.I really want to ride it on our next trip. I don't remember ever having a girl gangster? Or a cowboy. It has always been a male gangster everytime I rode it. It should definitely be a guy though.
ITOT.
Great update!
I didn't end up going every morning I work out 5 days a week when I am at home so I ended up going to the gym twice and working out in the room once. When we switched over to BCV you needed another card key to get into the gym when there wasn't a person at the desk

I loved that muffin! I could eat one every day

Yeah I have a fear of clowns so I wasn't sure about the slide

Yeah we have gotten a girl a few times and it just ruins the ride for me

Thank you!
Nice update!
I love the shot of the DHS entrance from across the lake!
As for GMR, I've always thought that instead of genres of movies, they should do landmark movies.
That is, like the first talking picture or pictures leading to major advancements in technology or cinema.
It could include movies like Star Wars and Steamboat Willie to go with classics like Casablanca, Wizard of Oz, and Indiana Jones.
Another thought would be that since the park is no longer MGM Studios and now Disney Hollywood Studios, use Disney movies.
Or even better, how about Disney movies that we don't see anymore:
The opening could be Steamboat Willie.
The gangster scene could morph into Roger Rabbit.
The western scene could go Frontierland and transform into Davey Crockett.
Tarzan becomes Jungle Book.
The space scene is now The Black Hole.
The Horror sequence can be The Black Cauldron,
Indiana Jones can be an underwater sequence with 20,000 Leagues.
How cool would an underwater scene be?
And if Disney really does do an Oz sequel as rumored, they can keep the Oz scene.
A third idea would be to go back and dust off the plans for a Great Muppet Movie Ride which was in the works for some time.
That would be awesome!
It was a very pretty view of DHS!
Well they pay homage to Star Wars and gave it not only its own ride but also its own themed gift shop area.
I do like the Roger Rabbit idea but as for the rest I would be the clueless one on the ride now

I just feel like DHS is meant to be Hollywood not exactly a Disney movie collection

The Great Muppet Movie Ride could be cool but they get their own 3d show I like that GMR pays homage to movies that wouldn't have their own ride anywhere else.
