Who knew that Mark Addy (the dad on Still Standing) was British?!?

We rented A Knight's Tale...he was in it with a British accent. Figured he was doing an accent. Coincidentally when the movie ended Jack Frost was (still is) on TV...and there he is with a British accent. So we IMDB him...and who knew? He's British!

OK, so not the most earth shattering thing you've read today, but I found it interesting!

Now back to your regularly scheduled DISing...

I did..because I always wondered a guy who supposedly grew up in Chicago area-I think(on the show)had a slight British accent. LOL
I think he was in The Full Monty as well.

Yes, he was in the Full Monty! I think he hides his accent well, but sometimes if you listen for it you can tell. I wonder how he got that gig!

I knew it from watching Jack Frost a couple years ago. It really surprised me though, as previously I had only known him from Still Standing.

So's Hugh Laurie, er, Dr. House from House.

And, James Marsters, Spike from Buffy, is NOT British.

I saw him on a talk show a few years ago. He does the Fred Flintstone meets Chicago accent pretty well.

Yeah...I was floored when Naveen Andrews (Sayid from Lost) opened his mouth and this British Accent came pouring out. I'd only seen him in THe English Patient and Lost, so I had no idea.

I saw him in The Full Monty as well. Also heard him in interviews.

He's cute, isn't he?

I was so surpised to find that out! He's really good at an American accent, he hides it well! :teeth:
