Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

My DH wanted me to pass along one of his fave nap spots to John. Of course, being the nap-miester he is, he probably already knows. But it's on the main deck of the paddle boat at MK. There is a "sitting room" with nice, comphy, cushioned benches long enough to sort of stretch out on. Of course, stretching out for John is a bit different than for my 5'4" hubby. And most people just pass right by and never go in there. And the ride is long enough to get a good long nap in.

I'm glad John's situation worked out and praying everything goes will with your Aunt. What a horrible thing to happen in Jesse's family, I know they will all have a hard time getting through. I will keep them in my prayers as well.

Lacey's invitations and cake are very pretty. I just love sunflowers!

Ugh...I got 10 pages behind again. Sorry I haven't kept up...I guess it's the Disney blues setting in that we can't head back this year.

Anyway, I'm all caught up now!! I've loved looking at all your pictures from MK! It's definitely put a smile on my face! (just what I needed!) Can't wait to bring the boys to Tom Sawyer Island next time! It looks like so much fun! And of course...love Pecos Bills YUM!

I think the inviation and cake for Lacey and Jesse's wedding are spectacular. I really love the natural themeing they have chosen!

Great photo of the bee. I remember when my son Nate was stung by a bee. I was carrying a birthday cake and a bee was flying around. He cupped his hands around it and said "Look what I have, mommy! OUCH!

I loved seeing the Shootin' Gallery photos- my husband and oldest son did this last year while Ben and I were at Typhoon Lagoon, but since I am the official (and only) photographer for my family, there is no photographic evidence.

Very cool picture of the spires of the castle from the backside. Sparkly!

Lisa- your photos look great!!! That one of the castle is SO clear. Where is that restroom sign?? I don't think I've ever seen it before.
It's so funny that John can fall asleep anywhere...it must be the name. Did I tell you that "my" John has fallen asleep during a concert??? Meanwhile, if a pin drops, I'm awake.

Hellloooooo humans! (wish there was a Mike Wozowski smiley) I hope that everybody's doing okay. It's been super busy around our household:

1) Wedding planning for Lacey;

2) Wedding gift shopping for my nephew and his fiance. I do NOT want to go to this bridal shower because they are fancy smancy kinda people and ya'll know I'm not fancy smancy. To give you an idea of what kind of people they are, they've been featured on Toddlers and Tiaras a couple of times. and she went all the way to Canada to pick out her wedding dress.

3) Lacey leaves tomorrow for Tennessee to have engagement pictures taken and I'm always stressed when she travels that far by herself. She is going in my car and I realized yesterday that my car inspection sticker ran out in January We've been scrambling to get it inspected which the stations will not do if it is raining. Guess what? It's raining!

4) Hunter had an orchestra festival today and had to have all black clothes....all the way down to his tippy toes. He keeps growing like a weed and, of course, when we tried on his black dress shirt, the sleeves were about an inch and a half too short. We made a run to the store this past weekend to find another one.

5) My aunt had her blood work done yesterday and has pre-op tomorrow for her surgery set for Thursday. My mother has been taking her back and forth to her appointments so that her kids can take off work to take care of her when she does have the surgery and when she goes home.

6) My boss has announced that his girlfriend is relocating from South Carolina to Louisiana. That's great! But, then he announced that he is suing his termite company because he has termite damage to his garage, he is selling his house, his extra lakeside lot and buying another house......and he wants everything to be completely done and over with by mid-April to early May! Yeah right!

At least in the middle of all the chaos, we've had some good news. We are getting over $1,000 more than normal back on our income tax refund which means we are definitely going to Cirque de Soliel in May!

Even though John's gone back to work full-time, we are still running our cabinet/remodeling business and he put in a bid on a pretty big job and got it! Most of the work is going to be done onsite so that means he'll be working late hours but that extra moolah will come in handy.

Oh and this morning I got a call from Lacey's former Mission leaders and they want to go to Disney on April 28th for four days. They have two kids and wanted to make the most of their time without getting too tired with two little ones. I've been helping them decide where to stay, what to see, etc.

Sooooooooo......enough excuses about not getting caught up on my own thread. I'm heading over to see if Photobucket is playing nice today and let's me pull up my pictures. If so, I'll be posting an installment soon.

I hate fancy weddings where I feel like my gift has to match up....UGH! We went to a wedding once where the bride and groom registered for soup bowls that cost $30 EACH....are you KIDDING ME?? Good luck!

I have a sister that's fancy, and her friends are so fancy that I get ignored at her parties, which I hate to go to, and I find I have nothing to say to them. She had a wine tasting bridal shower, and you were supposed to dress. I was soooo under dressed. I don't own a cocktail gown Give me a BBQ with the kids playing around any day

Honey, I've been hanging on tight for the last month or so! But, there's not a whole lot I can do about it so I'll just strengthen my grip.

My cousin's daughter had $50 plates. Needless to say, she didn't get a plate from me.

I have dresses but I don't like to wear them. I am so thankful that our church isn't the traditional kind where women have to wear dresses and the men wear suits. You'll see people in shorts (not Daisy Dukes of course), pants, pant suits and dresses. Nobody looks at you any differently and I like that!
