Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

I absoultely love Philarmagic!!!! Best 3D show ever, IMO! :) Bummer about the sweaty, stinky people!! :lmao: Can't wait to hear more!

I LOVE the closeup photos of your faces. Beautiful!

The salads look delish! Have you tried the roasted beet and goat cheese salad (with candied pecans) at Sunshine Seasons? YUM!!!

Bummer about the truck. Tate turned 16 last Tuesday and got her license the same day. :rolleyes1:love: She's been driving my car all week and I was just informed that the check engine light is on????? Could be one of a hundred things but it seems odd. Anyway I feel your pain I'm carless (word?):confused3 also. 18 days til WDW :cool1:

Check the gas cap. I have a chrysler and one time that light came on and we took it in to get fixed...all it means for chryslers is that the gas cap is loose. I felt dumb!

I'm not caught up yet, but I had to respond, so I would lose thoguht!
I kind of like that purse that guy is carrying...you didn;t happend to see the brand did you? LOL:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Skip swoere he would nver have a cell phone, but then before we went to Disney in 2007 he and his brother each got one so they could keep in contact about the farm. We have nextelm so we can have the direct connect feature...basically push a button to beep someone like a walkie talkie.. He is on that thing all the time now. He will walk around Disney talking away, but he has his speaker on, since it's like a walkie talkie and sometimes it's embarassing because he and the other end don't awlays censor words!

I hope the truck problems were just a fluke or some bad gas going through.

I understand about John not going. It might be fun for just you and Hunter to go. I love Skip to death, but I think a girl trip with Claire and or Paige would be fun too.

I can't wait to see your new creations! I really wish I knew how to sew. I don't know if I would have the patience. Where is a palce to learn? Do they have beginning sewing classes for old ladies like me? It could be fun, espeically if I could make something that could be sold and make money! But even making stuff for Claire (I'm sure Paige would never wear anything I would make!), would be fun.

OOOH yes!! I have had those 2 dwarves by me before. They also had their wives with them on the ride in Mexico one year and sat right in front of me! :headache:

Great Updates!!!!! I love the pic of John and Hunter with the Tweedles.

Can't wait to see your creations. I am craft-impaired and love to marvel at those who are not.

SANY2568.jpg

Awwww, my signatures name sake :goodvibes We missed the tweedles on our August trip so it's nice to see them here!

I am glad to see you updating the Disney portion of your TR, I have been anxiously awaiting its return

Glad that Lacey made it home safely!

Very cute closeup pictures of your family! Hunter has the prettiest eyes!

We love Philharmagic! And I sing during it, too. (And get the head shaking from DH.)

I love PhilharMagic! I think we see it about 5 times each trip!

The only part of it that I can't handle is when the magic carpet is flying through Agrabah. I always feel like I'm actually on the carpet (which is good) but I don't like drops and it makes my stomach get all loopy, like I'm on a roller coaster.

We used to love eating at Pinnochio and sitting by the windows to wave at the Small World riders, but since they took away Figaro Fries, we don't eat there anymore.

Yay for being rewarded for following the rules! It's great when stuff like that happens. I love the Carousel of Progress. I haven't been for a few trips because the rest of my family is a bit bored by it. Cool that you got to meet Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. We've seen Alice there a few times, but never the Tweedles.

Even though the people in front of us were probably not paying attention to the castmember, it made me feel good that she said something about them.

We've only seen the Tweedles a couple of times in all of our trips. This was the first time we have stopped to take a pic with them.

Great pic of the man in his mouse ears and purse? It made me smile!

I loved the story about the vip pass and line cutters I couldn't imagine cutting in front of other people. I'm glad the cm spoke loud enough for the cutters to hear.

COP is one of my favorites its just so classic disney (I love anything with animatronics )

I miss the old audio on the TTA so much. When we went last Oct. they had changed it and it really took something away from the ride and you can't see in space mountain anymore:sad1:

Glad to hear the truck started today and that it stays that way!
Can't wait to hear more!

The man with the purse, tight shirt and the Mickey ears had me laughing too. Poor thing, he either had no idea he looked silly or he didn't care that he looked silly.

I liked the COP and so did Mama. She had never seen it before.

Thanks for another great update! I hate it when people jump lines like that, but how cool you got rewarded for doing the right thing! I was glad the CM said what she did in front of the people who jumped in front of you, but sadly it probably didn't bother them or they wouldn't have done it in the first place.

I have always loved COP. I don't know what it is about it, but I have to see it every time I go.

Terri

I hate it when people jump in line too! What baffled me was the fact that there really wasn't much of a line so they could have just walked through the line like Hunter and I did.

Glad to hear that the truck seems to be working fine.

Loved the MK update! The People Mover is one of our family's favorites, and we always have, always will call it the People Mover. No matter what sign is there. Such a fun, peaceful ride and great views of Tomorrowland!

We saw Chip and Dale in their space suits from the People Mover on our last trip, but we did not get up close and personal with them.

Super story about the karma on Buzz! So great of the CM to note your politeness and get across the message to the other group that they were RUDE!

I'm glad that the truck is back up and running. We have no idea what the deal was but I'm praying that it won't konk out on us. At least until we get Lacey's wedding paid for.

I read that they added People Mover back into the name of the TTA. I'm so glad that they did.

I can't stand people who are rude and cut in line. Ticks me off to no end!

Come on over to my neck of the woods!! Yes, were are planning on going back Dec. 4-11th.
What can I say...Were Disney nuts!!!

I think we've decided to go "through" your neck of the woods on our way to Canton, Texas. I still want some of us Louisiana girls to meet up sometime. I am sure the meet would be loads of fun.

Oh you lucky girl! Going back to Disney in December! I would love to go back during the holidays. We haven't seen the Christmas decorations since Thanksgiving, 2000.

YAY for being a rule follower!!!! It DOES pay off!!!! We always got ugly looks from the people in the stand by line when we had a fastpass, like we were cutting in line.

That's exactly what I told Hunter. I've gotten some ugly looks from the standy by people when I'm passing by with my Fastpass.

That always make me happy when you are engulfed in that sea of people. Just feels like Disney! :goodvibes

I've been to WDW 3 times and EVERY TIME the TTA is closed!!! I've always wanted to ride it, so I'm hoping that I can when I go back in January! But I heard that it was updated, so I'm missing all the old school "Mr Morrow, etc."

John getting the phone calls is hilarious!! :lmao: He needs to walk around with the little ear bud in his ear and then you guys can all look at him oddly when he answers the phone like he's talking to himself! :rotfl2:

I've never seen that! That's so cool to see something new when you are at Disney! :)

Can't wait to see the next installment!

Call me odd but I like walking down Main Street with everybody else at the beginning of the day.

I've told John that he needs a bluetooth so he'd look like some special agent or something. He said there's no way in heck he'd do that. Funny how he doesn't mind taking crazy pictures but he won't wear a bluetooth.

Good deeds come to those who obey the rules! Good for you and Hunter. Love the pics of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (and I just have no more comments about John and his phone...I just sit here and do this: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

Kathy, there's really nothing more to say about all the phone calls John gets.:sad2:

I will add Helen to my list too. If I could get my parents to go with I know they would absolutely love it there.

Sorry to hear about John's truck problems. Hope the week gets less crazy. It always seems that everything happens at once!

Space Chip and Dale are so cute. Hope to see them this time. Love the TTA! I do hope "paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow" is back. Yay for getting VIP fastpasses for being rule followers! I wish that happened more in real life, cause you know Disney is like being on another planet! CoP haven't done it before, but it is always on my to see list, maybe this time.

Helen is definitely a town you should visit. It's so pretty and everything is within walking distance.

John's truck is running fine now. I'll just pray that it keeps running okay. We've got a wedding and three receptions to pay for!

You should give COP a try. It's nothing super duper exciting but we like it.

I love the sneaky picture you got of the man! There is a gentleman who is clearly comfortable with his masculinity! :thumbsup2

Congrats to you for following the rules and getting a fastpass. :woohoo: I would love to know what was going through those kids minds when they overheard what the CM told you.

Yeah, he was comfortable in his masculinity alright. John carried my pink Vera Bradley hipster a time or two just to act silly. :upsidedow

Hi Lisa!:goodvibes

Yay for being a rule follower!! I guess it really does pay off!!:cool1:

Great pictures with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum!! Too funny!

Aww...I love Mickey's Philharmagic!!:cloud9:

So glad Lacey made it home safe!:goodvibes

Yah, now that I am a parent, I know what I must have put my Mom through when I drove not only between California and New York all by myself at least six times, but also traveling all over the world by myself in places throughout Europe, Asia and Central America. I had fun but, at the time, never realized how she must have worried. Even though I was there with the Army, I did most of my sight-seeing by myself. Of course, it was a safer time too.

Check the gas cap. I have a chrysler and one time that light came on and we took it in to get fixed...all it means for chryslers is that the gas cap is loose. I felt dumb!

Thanks, I have tried that already (three times) :scratchin. I finally got my DD to admit that the light came on after going over some railroad tracks. I asked if she did a "Dukes of Hazard" :drive: jump but she claims she went slow and hit a big bump? It's an old car, still running and I have a buddy who can run a diagnostic's check and hopefully find the problem.

Hi! I'm a newbie to the Disboards, just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your trip report. It's gonna be a while before my family gets back down to the world since we have a 3 month old at home, so I'm really enjoying your great reporting style and all the great pictures! It's helping me gather ideas for our next trip- hopefully when the little guy turns one.

Looking forward to seeing your Disney items. I'd really be interested in some baby gear for our next trip.

I brought my 14 month old in June & it was WONDERFUL!

Hi Lisa! Just dropping by to see how you are? Haven't seen you on in a few days! Hope all is ok & you have just been a busy-body!!! Talk to you soon!!!

~Danielle~

Love the car story. My mom had a plastic bag melt under her car and I swear it took months for that smell to go away.

Congrats to John on his new/old job :rotfl2:. I can understand him missing Disney next year; I don't think he wants to be disowned by Lacey :rolleyes1. I hate the new cancellation rule for Disney 2011 packages. I have to say I really like the room only deal. I was able to pay on it just like a package and I paid the balance when we checked in. I don't know that we will do the DDP again any time soon because they have changed the menus, and the food quality seems to be slipping. We had a not so good experience this past weekend .

Great TR update too. I love the picture of you, your mom and Hunter; such a special memory :goodvibes .

I made it!!! I wanna let you know that I have now read ALL THREE of your trip reports!!! I started out with the "I Lost My Tooth" report, then hit the "I Lost My Shoe" report, and now I caught up on this one!! I refuse to say how many days this took me. I skimmed over some of the chatter in between, but did read a lot of it.
