Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

WOW on the bargain shopping this weekend!

And congrats on the new addition to your family. Tiana is very very cute! "What big ears you have..."

It's cool that you are able to experience so much nature just outside your door!

Tiana is just adorable!!! I'm such a cat lover, too. We've got FIVE cats. Oh, and three dogs. And a turtle. And a rabbit. Yup, we've got our own private zoo.

Tiana is adorable!!! I loved the photos of her- and of the hummingbird & raccoons!

Tiana is beautiful, I think she makes a wonderful addition to your family. I also loved the pics of the racoons and hummingbirds. I really love hummingbirds but we don't see many around here.

I'm getting so excited about our Disney trip. I'm all packed and ready, just have to make it through tomorrow, which will be a very long day, I'm sure. Carter's day care center is having a grand picnic day, grandparents are invited to come have a picnic with the kids. I'm so looking forward to it, and hopefully it will make the day go faster. I just hope it's not too hot outside. It's been brutal here this summer.

I can't wait to see your items on ebay, I LOVE ebay, there are so many great deals there, as long as you are careful.

Terri

Tiana is so cute, I want one lol

It is nuts how close those raccoons let you get although this summer when it was hotter than hades out I found one at our backdoor one night that had that "please let me in look" on its face.

Can not wait to hear more.

Hi Lisa! What a busy few days you have had!!! Glad all is well!! Tiana is SO adorable!! I am not a cat person, but she is a cutie!!! Glad to hear John will be joining you in Disney after all!!! LOL! It is now set in stone that we are 100% going to Disney in Oct. 2011. Not quite sure of the dates yet, kinda holding out for some discounts!!!! We will probably be going Oct. 17-24 I cannot wait!!! I'm so excited to bring Emma!!! She is going to love it!!! We took her to the Zoo today for the first time!!! She was amazed at everything!!! She really liked the Hippos for some reason. I took video of her watching them. If I can figure out how to upload videos to the computer I will post it on Facebook! LOL! Well, talk to you soon!!!

I have been busy but that's just part of being a Mom so I can deal.

Tiana is such a sweet little kitty.

John is definitely going to Disney with us so that's a load off my mind.

Woohoo! I am sure you are super excited about planning a trip. Emma will love Disney. Hunter's first trip to Disney was when he was just 1 and it was so touching to see Disney through his eyes.

Feel free to post the video of Emma here on my thread. I know I'm not the only one who would love to see it.

The raccoons are out and about at all times of the day at our house. Probably doesn't help that I feed them everyday.;)

Tiana is such a sweetheart. She's already got us wrapped around her tiny little paws.

You are leaving for Disney in just one day! I know you are about to bust. The day before the trip always seems soooooooooooo long but I will keep my fingers crossed that it goes by quickly for you.

Our Summer has been pretty bad too. We are still in the high 90s. I think today's high is supposed to be 97.

I was hard at work on more backsacks last night. I really really wanted to get some items listed this weekend. Hopefully, I can.

You guys have a super fantastic majorly fun trip! Take lots and lots of pictures and make lots and lots of magical memories!

Tiana is adorable!!! I loved the photos of her- and of the hummingbird & raccoons!

Tiana is adorable. She has a sweet personality which is a definite plus.

If it were up to me, I'd have all sorts of animals. Right now, we only have one dog, Oddball, and Tiana. Well, that's if you don't count the 5 raccoons.

I was excited about the shopping bargains. I love me some good sales. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness! Tiana is adorable!!! I want a new kitty! (Okay, no I don't, really. This is the first time in my life that I haven't had a cat and I don't miss the litter box at all)

:lmao:

And look at those stinkin' raccoons! I can't believe they came up that close to you! I do find raccoons kind of cute, though. Unless they are on my deck in the middle of the night when DH is out of town and I think someone is trying to break into the house. :scared1:

Great to hear that John is going to Disney with you next year! I'm sure you were very happy to hear that.

Tiana sleeps in Lacey's room so we put her litter box in there. She keeps it cleaned out every day so we don't have that yucky smell. Thankfully, she was already litter box trained when we got her.

The raccoons will come right up to us if they think we have something to eat. But, I'd rather feed them dog food and table scraps than have them eating my produce from the garden.

We are very happy that John's decided to go to Disney with us. He really doesn't care too much for the job he is working at. The only reason he went back is because they needed help to get caught up. They said they have enough work, with overtime, for over two years. He said that they all curse up a storm. And, not just the "little cuss words"....we're talking the "big time cuss words" which is not something we do around our house. And, most of the guys are smokers and John's not used to that either. Oh well, it will all work out.

Hi Lisa!

Tiana is adorable! So glad you took John's "no" as a "yes"! :lmao:

Yay for being rewarded for being a rule follower! I hate line cutters. Annoying and rude!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE PhilharMagic! My favorite 3D at Disney. :lovestruc

Sorry you didn't get to go camping, but sounds like you made the most of the long weekend anyway. Awesome trash-picking finds! LOL! :thumbsup2

I'm so glad John has decided to go to Disney with you!

Oh, when John said "whatever", Lacey and I ran with it and were convinced that meant "do whatever you want and if that's getting the kitty, then get it". Isn't it funny how we can interpret what our husbands really mean when they've only said one little word?:lmao:

I can't stand line cutters either. They drive me nuts and make me want to say something so bad.

I really wanted to go camping but I got over it. There was stuff I needed to do at home anyway.

Tiana is such a cute kitty. We had a black cat that looked just like that when he was little. Dh laughed when I picked him out because he was the one hanging like a monkey off the cage, he was such a playful cat!

Looks like you have 6 new animals, not just 1. I think they must like what they find at your house:laughing:.

Tiana's personality is so sweet but she's playful too so she fits right in our family.;)

EEK! Scary about the raccons coming out in the day! Be careful. Around here, when they come out in the day, they are usually sick. We actually had one haging around our house and MIL house this summer one day. Luckily Claire was at afriends house that day. This sucker went right up next to the dog pen, and the dog was barking in it's ear, and the thing acted like it didn't even hear it. Skip ended up killing it. We were so afraid that it would get Claire or the Nephew. He had to be really sick, the way he would look right at us and had no fear, and he even kind of staggered around.

Jen, we have the craziest animals around our house. Even the possums don't wait until nightfall to come out.

The raccoons love to terrorism Oddball when he's in the kennel. They know that he can't get out and they just stand there looking at him while he's barking like crazy!

I don't blame Skip for doing away with that particular raccoon. If it was staggering around, there probably was something wrong with it.

Tiana is precious (and I'm not even a cat lover). I love the pics of the racoons. We have a friend who feeds them as well so they stay out of her garden. I can't believe John said he'd quit his job because he was going to Disney with you guys. Well, I guess he could always "be on the phone drumming up business for your shop." :lmao::lmao:

The raccoons know a good thing when they see (well actually eat) one. They know I'm going to keep feeding them so that's why they stick around. Apparently, they stuck around long enough to have three babies.

Yeah, John's not going to be upset if they fire him. He's only doing the job as a favor to the bossman. It's definitely a different setting than what John's used to. Oh, and he's also quit working there before because they wouldn't pay him for his vacation time. That's why we figure they will try and pull the same thing next year.

Like you said, he's always on the phone drumming up business.

I think I responded to everybody's posts. If I didn't, please know that I certainly didn't mean to skip you.

I made two more backsacks last night. They turned out really cute. One is a black and white animal print with a black Mickey head on it. The other is a black and tan animal print with a black Mickey head on it. They turned out really well. The next one I make is going to be a smaller black and white animal print which would be good for little girls. I figured someone may want a matching Mommy and Daughter set.

This afternoon or maybe tomorrow morning, I'm making a run to the fabric store again. I've found a pattern for a scooter/wheelchair organizer and I thought it would make a great item to sale. I also need some more cord and grommets for the backsacks since I ran out last night. I am sure that I'll find some more fabric and more patterns that I just have to have.

Mama is going to start helping with the sewing. She used to sew all of our clothes and is an excellent seamstress. She even made my wedding dress and all of the bridemaids' dresses. We made a deal where I buy all of the materials, cut the patterns out and she will stitch them up. In the meantime, I'll be working on sewing other items. We will split our net proceeds on the items that she makes. I'll keep all net proceeds on the items I make.

Other things that are going on my list of sale items will be:

Baby bibs

Minnie Mouse red and white glass bead bracelets

Backseat organizers

More purses

Aprons

Window treatments

Placemats

Table runners

Appliance covers

Pillowcase dresses for little girls

Shopping bag holders (you know the little things that you put all your Walmart sacks in and then pull them out to reuse them)

Pillows

Hanging closet organizers (for use at home and for trips)

I know there will be more things but that's all I can think of right now.

The boss is dragging around this morning and hasn't even made it in yet. I like these kinds of Fridays.....I get here on time and work on my Dising; boss comes in late; we leave at Noon. Ahhh Friday.

Okay, I'll stop here and go log onto my Photobucket account. I want to try and write an installment for you guys.

You may recall when I stopped the last installment, we were all smooshed together (along with a lot of other folks) in the little store near the exit to Mickey's PhilarMagic. Most of the people in there were just there seeking shelter from the storm. I actually wanted to see if they had a t-shirt that I saw last trip and didn't buy. Well, I quickly forgot about buying anything because you couldn't see hardly any merchandise because of so many people.

Lots of people. Lots of sweaty people. Lots of stinky people. Two in particular. Stinky and Smelly who we not so affectionately called the "lost dwarves". Unfortunately, we had the luck of being stuck behind them. In a corner no less. The man, Mr. Stinky, decided he'd lift his arm and prop himself up on the wall. No! No! No! No! Nooooooooooooooo! Mrs. Smelly then started pinching her shirt under her armpits and popping it. Uggggghhhhhh! Now, their wonderful smells were wafting towards us even more. :sad1:

That's when I made an executive decision that we were getting out of there. Rain be damned! I couldn't get the ponchos out of the backpack quick enough. We had those suckers on in 2.2 seconds flat. We "excuse me" "excuse me" "excuse me" 'd our way through the crowds and out into the fresh air. :cloud9:

Good Lord have mercy! Can't people tell when they smell like that? Are their noses totally immune to the stinkiness? I swear if we had been stuck behind Stinky and Smelly for one more minute, I would have pulled out my "emergency" deodorant I keep in the backpack and offered it to them.

In this picture, you can tell how much it rained. Look at the water around the lady pushing the stroller's feet:

We figured now would be a good time to ride It's A Small World. So, we took a left and were soon waiting with a lot of other people who had the same idea. Thankfully, both sides of the line were open. And even more thankfully, no Stinky and Smelly or any other lost stinky dwarves (or giants or evil queens or princesses or princes :upsidedow). The line moved really quickly and soon we were ready to board.

Mama had done really well getting onto the boat in Mexico at Epcot so we weren't worried too much about her getting on the Small World boats. She did just fine and we were floating away:

SANY2580.jpg

Let's all start singing now........It's a small world after all......It's a small world after all............It's a small world after all............It's a small small world!

You seriously didn't think John would NOT fall asleep did you?

SANY2584.jpg

Just kidding! He was just pretending in this one!:rotfl2: And, then he posed for this one which had us all giggling.

Shake it baby! Shake it!

All too soon, we were at the end of the ride bidding all of the animatronic people farewell:

EEEEKKKKK! Look at the crowds in the background of this picture!

And in this one too:

We got out of the boat, walked up the ramp and just gotten to the turnstile to go out and Hunter realized his cellphone was not in his pocket. I told John and Mama to go ahead. We were going back to see if anybody had turned it in. They had! Cellphone back in pocket, we went back to find Mama and John.

***Okay, so the boss has made it in. I'll stop here.

That kitty is way cute!!
I can't wait till you put the bracelettes in your store!Something else to add to your list could be princess dresses/costumes.
The dresses do not have to be princess dress per se but dresses that are made outta the princess material...

We just fell in love with Tiana instantly. She already has us wrapped around her tiny little paws.;)

The bracelets are so cute. They are red glass beads with white dots on them. I am keeping one for myself which I think it going to be a pattern from here on out. Everything I make, I want to keep.

I'm thinking I will wait until Spring before making the dresses. Kids grow so fast and I would hate for someone to buy them and then their child have outgrown them by next Spring.

It's A Small World after all, It's A Small World after all...okay, now I can't stop singing that darn song. Thanks, Lisa. :rolleyes1 At least I got my "sing-a-long" in since it won't be open when we are there next week.

John cracks me up...you gotta love him.

Glad Hunter's cell phone was found. And glad you got away from the two lost dwarves. I can't believe those crowds. :scared1:

Holy majolies!!! I have never seen it's a small world that packed! I think I would have fainted.

I love how John is faking sleeping! That is too funny.

My sunglasses fell out of my pocket on Maelstrom one time. I freaked out, but they were able to get them before anyone got on the boat at the loading dock. I was so happy! Glad Hunter got his phone back!

I thought about you when I was writing the installment because I knew it would be closed while you are there. Like you said, at least you got a little Small World fix.:thumbsup2

John had us all in stitches. He's a hoot!

The two lost dwarves were so smelly! No wonder they were lost.

Weren't the crowds bad! I thought it was bad when we got in line. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be in that line.

John knew that I had been taking pics of him sleeping so he decided to do a little "fake napping" poses.

Glad to hear that you were able to get your sunglasses. Everybody needs sunglasses at Disney!

Tiana is adorable!!:goodvibes Yay!! So glad that John decided to go to Disney after all! Great pictures in IASW!! Too funny about John sleeping!

I can't wait for your items to be up on ebay:surfweb: I starting to think of getting a bag to carry when we go back to Disney.

Great update, We had a rain episode when were at Disney last time. We were in Playhouse Disney, and it started to pour. When the show was over, the CM's started to push us out and the crowd was just not willing:eek:
I'm an " be ready for anything" kinda gal, so out came the DollarTree ponchos and out of the crushing crowd and into the rain we went. I overheard a CM tell another that the parade had been cancelled. We walked quickly to the bus stop, and was about 4th in line to board the bus when people figured out the parade was canclled. On the bus and back hotel, and avoided the rush:yay:

Wow I keep getting behind! Sounds like you had a busy holiday weekend! Ours was a pain our air conditioner broke on Friday and it was in the mid 90's:headache: we got it fixed but we are $272.00 poorer :sad2:

Your kitten is so cute! I have 4 cats one is all black too. The last cat we got answers to the name Donald Duck!

Yeah for John going to Disney!

Sorry to hear about mama's teeth expenses and that she wont be able to make the trip. I know how she feels when I had my tooth implant it was $4500.00 plus other expenses and I had no insurance:eek:
What is Disneys new cancellation policy I didn't know they had one?

The raccoons are very cute I can't believe they just walk around in the day time ours only come out at night.
That sure looked like alot of rain with the water running over that womens feet. We've been very lucky its never rained when we went. And I have never seen Small World that packed before!

Can't wait to hear more!

I love Its a small world!! Did you notice if it had been updated with characters? I saw a video about the Disneyland one being updated and I was just wondering about if it would be done at MK by the time we got there in December.

How do I find you on eBay? I have tried searching your tag name, but never found anything. Sorry, I am new to eBay. Only bought one thing -- the coolest Steiff Steamboat Willie.

I LOVE the update! Those photos of John sleeping are too funny! How awesome is it that someone turned in Hunter's phone?? I couldn't believe the crowds in those photos! What time of day was that??
