Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Great upate, Lisa. It is so great that John and your mom get along. I'm like that with my father-in-law (he tells me I'm perfect and an angel to have married his son!). I love the photos of Hunter with his chocolate. I'm so mad that I didn't take more pictures of Toontown when we were there on Tuesday.

I loved my Vera Bradley hipster. I do wish it was a little bit larger but it worked well.

I was happy that we got all of our requests. The most important were that we be placed near each other and downstairs.

We had stayed in Jamaica during our first stay and really liked the location. So, needless to say, I was happy to be placed in Jamaica again.

I am calling tomorrow to request a room near OPR. Where exactly should I ask for? I def want to be close to the diet coke. And since DH won't be there for the first part the pool. As close as possible with my children would be best hahaha:hmghost: Oh and I LOVE the vera bradley!

Lisa, I'll be sending prayers for your brother-in-law and the rest of you guys.

I'm glad you got to do Toontown one last time! Goofy's Barnstormer definitely has lots of memories for us, too. At least it won't be gone gone...

Love that picture of your Mama & Hunter arm wrestling! :)

The picture of John & your Mama talking reminds me of one I've got of Max & my Mom. We were at DD's gymnastics recital a couple of years ago. It's a smaller school, but they do rotations with groups of kids on the equipment at all times. Well, DD's group was on the uneven bars, which were next to the balance beam and directly in front of the tumble track (long, skinny trampoline). No one was using the tumble track and the coaches let parents sit on the edge of it to take pictures of their kids while they were on the other equipment. A lady came up and sat down next to me, so I said something to her along the lines of "let me move this out of the way" talking about my camera or bag or purse or something. I glanced over where some other family members were sitting and saw my DH & my Mom laughing away. I mean, just cracking up. I thought they were so cute and I took their picture.

I later found out that lady I was sitting next to, chatting about taking up space, was DH's ex! :scared1: Not just like a normal ex, but that ex, you know? The one you can never seems to get away from! It was pretty funny, though! I was like, oh, that's what was so funny!

Great update! Loving the toontown pics. I am sad to see it go in some ways and excited to see what is to come. I wish I had taken more pics when we were there last year because who knows if it will still be open when we go in February.

Did you pay for a preferred location? If so, then I'd suggest Martinique 25 or 26. If not, we loved our room in Jamaica 41 (both times). We have also stayed in Martinique 23 which is a non-preferred location. Our walks from Jamaica 41 and Martinique 23 were, maybe, 5 minutes. Not too far from the Diet Coke.;)

I didn't even know about Vera Bradley until Lacey said something about liking it. Yes, I know, I am waaaaay behind in what's "hip" ummmmm...."cool" ummmm.... "neat", ummmm....."in". Gosh, I don't even know what the "in" word is right now! I'm getting old!:scared1:

fun update Lisa!!! still trying to catch up on things...
congrats! to Lacey on the new job!!! how exciting...
:wave2: Connie

BTW: really cute bags on your site I really like the red sling bag

Hi Lisa! I've been horrible this summer. Now that fall is around the corner I hope to get caught up. Just wanted to stop by and say hello and I haven't forgot ya! Miss ya my DIS buddy!

Sorry I haven't been back to post replies. I promise I am going to soon.

Did ya'll watch Disney's announcement of the 2011 theme? I watched it via Ustream during my lunch hour. They have a new website where you can download your greatest memory pictures and videos. They will go through your memories and some may even get chosen to be posted on their site.

Guess what! One of mine was chosen. Check it out!

I submitted a few more and the video of Hunter dancing when we received our Mickey Mail. I don't know if there is a limited number of pictures they will accept from one particular person.

I can't believe that one of my pictures was chosen! Can you tell I am beyond excited?

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!! How awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I submitted Shelby's Cinderella story, but I have not heard anything back yet!

I can't believe I have gotten so far behind; thank goodness we keep up off the boards :goodvibes. I have been praying for your brother-in-law and the rest of your family. I know your strong faith will help.

You did not; however, tell me about Lacey's new job :thumbsup2. Way to go Lacey :goodvibes. I love the pictures chosen for Disney Memories, Hunter is such a ham, and a handsome one at that.

Looking at your Toontown pictures was so funny. I posted the last part of my September trip today, and we have some of the same pictures..........:rotfl:.

Hi Lisa. So sorry to hear about your Brother in Law. He will be in my prayers as well as you and the rest of the family. I'm sure it's a very hard situation.

Congrats to Lacey on the new job! I am the Children's Ministries Director at my church....it's a very rewarding, yet tiring, job! (Not that I even get paid..it's a volunteer position for now. :goodvibes)

Love the Toontown pics and updates! Sad to see it go, but excited to see what's in store!

I love that you and John buy "secret gifts". What a fun tradition! :thumbsup2

I watched the live feed of the announcement yesterday. Cool campaign! I'll have to look for some pictures to submit. How fun that two of yours were chosen already!! :)

Lisa- that is AWESOME that 2 of your photos were picked!! :woohoo:

How exciting about the photos! You deserve a little excitement! I kinda want to scan a photo I have of me and my grandmother on the Fantasy Land Skyway, my grandma has a horrified look on her face because they were shutting the door and my uncle was taking the picture and she thought that the ride was gonna take off without him lol. I think I was five when that happend.

Yay for you, Lisa!!!

I submitted a couple of pictures from work today, but I have more pictures on my home computer, so I'm going to submit some more this weekend, probably.
