I know you absolutely love CBR but take it for someone who always stays at Pop for budget reasons, you will not be disapointed! Although the room will be a bit smaller and simpler, you will be saving a good chunk of change!

I would love to hear any and all tips you have about Pop. I'm sure we'll be fine there. I think my main concerns are storage space and having only one bus stop.

Hey there! I'm sure you've been busy with three active little boys! I laughed when you said they would ask if they were in Epcot now when they see Spaceship Earth. That's what Hunter used to say when he was little too.

So, how did you like Disneyland? Was it fun?

Disneyland was fun, but def. like Disney World better. The castle at DL is so small compared to Cinderellas Castle! I sent my hubby a pic of the castle and he said "Whose Castle is that?..It must be Snow Whites because its dwarf sized!!!
There were a few rides that I thought were better...Space Mountain being the main one. The main difference I could not get over were the wait times...at the worst they looked like this...Soarin 40 minutes, Toy Story Mania 30 minutes, Thuinder Mountain 15 min.... Tower of Terror..no wait! The friend that was with me is going to Disney World in the fall...I told her there was no way she would see those wait times there!!

My boys keep asking to go to Disneyland now...I told them maybe next summer..since were going back to Disney World in December!

Yep, we are so Disney addicted

WOW! That's really great news about Lacey coming home and also about getting married!

I think you guys will like Pop Century, I have stayed there before, of course it's not as nice as the Mods but it is still a great place and the picture taker in you will have fun with all the photo ops! We had a room along the Lake (I think it was in the 60's section) and it was actually really nice to take walks in the mornings and evenings along the walkway there.

I'm caught up! I'm going to have to find Helen on a map...looks like a great place to go for a weekend getaway. We live in Cleveland, TN and have season passes to Dollywood. Well, you know how happy I am about Lacey moving home . I think it is fantastic that she will be home for ya'll to plan her wedding and to be with ya'll before she moves out on her own for good.

I think ya'll will like Pop. We did last year. I was going to book us there for our September trip, but I wanted to trip ASSp. I wish they would hurry up and come out with the AP rates for December, If there are going to be any.

I can't wait to see the engagement pictures. I can remember when Dale and I got engaged. We were sitting on my couch watching a movie. We were talking and during the course of the conversation, I say "Do you want to get married?" .......... Yes, I proposed to him, I had come to the point in our relationship that it was either move forward or move on...... I guess his answer is obvious . The $700 will be a big help with the wedding.

Took your advice and went with CBR. Yay just made ressies yesterday A.M., and actually added 2 nt's since the rate was so cheap. Can't believe DH was all for it. I should be starting a PTR soon.

I'm happy to have you here! Lacey enjoyed Master's Commission so very much. She would have stayed on another year if she hadn't needed to get a job and start saving some money.

I actually do remember seeing Clermont on the map. I guess I noticed it because we go through a town in Florida named Clermont on our way to Disney. Oh, and we pass through Hattiesburg on our way to Disney too!



What fantastic news! I am like you....why doesn't the news report the good things that young people do now-a-days. All you ever hear them report is drugs, alcohol, sex and violence.
Please keep me updated on how her fundraising is going. And, tell her that Mrs. Lisa is super proud of her.

Congrats to Lacey! I was looking at where the town of Helen was in GA it's a hour and 40 mins from where my aunt lives (where I'm at at least once a month) so we are making plans to spend the day there one saturday close to christms. So thanks for the tip on a mini trip.

And don't worry about staying at Pop. We stayed at a value (ASMo) for our first three trips with our kids, and it was fine. The rooms were small, but very, very clean. Pop is actually somewhere we'd like to try the next time we need a value. However, with five of us, it's either a family suite, two rooms in a value, or look into renting DVC points (which I'm actually leaning towards). Or, of course, travel with family and bunk a kid with them!

I think you will like pop. We just stayed there in July and had a refurb room. It was very clean just a little small. But for the 3 of us it was fine as we didn't spend much time in the room.
