your favorite Christmas song performer?

Mine without a doubt is Bing Crosby!!!

Steve and Eydie! I grew up listening to their Christmas music and like to share it with my family now.

Frank Sinatra! I always knew it was Christmas when dad put on ol' blue eyes.

"Oh by gosh, by golly..it's time for mistletoe and holly". :santa:

Second would be Andy Williams....anyone here (dare I say it...old enough to) remember the Andy Williams Christmas specials?....

Bing Crosby's White Christmas!!!! My Mom loves Bing and we always had that playing while we decorated the tree. It always brings back great memories from my childhood. :goodvibes My parents were "older" when my brother and I came along so we grew up wtih all the "oldies" like Steve and Edyie, Ray Conniff, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, etc. Although I love Martina McBride and some other current-day singers, the "oldies" will always be Christmas to me!!

Bing Crosby's White Christmas....:thumbsup2

But, I must admit, the chipmunks "Here Comes Santa Claus" is my ring tone right now!! :santa:

Alvin and The Chipmunks, both the original versions and the ones from the movie a couple of years ago. :3dglasses

Dean Martin, Andy Williams, and Danny Kay's "Baby It's Cold Outside"

I love that one too! But Christmas isn't Christmas without my Elvis CD. My mom played the LP every year. It was always the first songs of the season. Blue Christmas rocks!!!

I love all of them that ya'll mentioned. The one that brings back the most memories for me though is Gene Autry's "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,
but do you recall
the most famous reindeer of all.....

I also love Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas album. I have their Nutcracker Suite as my ringtone right now. I also have Carol of the Bells from them as an alternate ringtone.

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree is always one that gets me moving. Run Run Rudolph. I need to make me a Christmas CD. I am gonna use this thread as a starting point.

Thanks for starting this thread.

I have a nice Vince Gill Christmas CD that I've had for a few years now. Has become a favorite of ours over the years.

Just remembered 1 more.. Any version of Silent Night.

I sang this to my DD throughout the year when she was young. We would lay in bed and cuddle and I would sing this to her till she fell asleep.

In addition to all that have been mentioned and all of the traditional songs/artists I grew up listening to, some of my favorite Christmas songs are ~

"When Christmas comes to Town" from Polar Express

Alan Jackson's "Let it be Christmas"
