Who is your LEAST favorite singer?

There are so many threads and posts about favorites, so who is the singer/band that drives you up the wall??

C'mon! You know you have one! We all do. Even if it's a popular singer with other people (mine & DBF's least favorites are)!

And why do you not like this person/band?

For me, it is :

BOB SEGER

The man's voice just makes me cringe. I think it may be because his songs are played constantly on the classic rock stations around here, but to me he just sounds whiny and his lyrics are whiny and I just realized a few months back that I simply could take no more Bob Seger songs. DBF was a little saddened as he likes Bob Seger, but he always changes the station when a Bob Seger song comes on now, so as to not make me suffer.

I am also not a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. But he would be DBF's least favorite. He says it's his voice.

So who is yours?

Most of the new generation of Brittneys/Jessicas - they all sound like they are singing through their noses and that each word is forced - that wierd vibration sound. Maybe its just me...

I have to agree with you on Bob Seger. Now, I don't *hate* him (like say Air Supply) but his music has never done anything for me and I always change the station when he comes on.

NOT a fan of Madonna, Britney, Christina, Barbara, Whitney Houston, Jessica, and others I cannot think of right now. however, I DO LIKE: Linda Rondstat, Celine Dion, Carly Simon.

I couldn't think of any until Belle said Madonna. I don't like anything by her. I've tried, but her annoying, over rated, pompous personality gets in the way. Eww, I don't like her at all.

And Billy Joel. I like his voice, I even like some of his songs (older stuff), but I think he's over rated.

I don't care for but I don't dislike the girl singers now -- Brittney, Jessica Simpson, etc. But I think Christina Agulera is very talented.

Bob Seger and Bruce? I think at one time those words would have caused a great uprising here on the CB!
