Being originally from the Detroit area, I gotta say I love Bob Seger! Don't care that much for the Boss, though..But.....

Michael Bolton's voice is like nails on a blackboard to me...And I can't stand to look at him either...:crazy2:

I just said Michael Bolton too! And I think he looks like a lion! LOL

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I thought:

Michael Bolton and Celine Dion

But I see, I've already been beaten to the punch on both of them!

Oh, and I have to stand up for my man Bob Seger; the most electrifying live performer I have ever seen (and I have seen many.) I love Bob Seger and was SO happy to see him inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Jessica Simpson. Her "Dumb Blonde" act is getting VERY old.

Madonna. She'll do anything to be in the spotlight.

Hilary Duff.Because,well,she's Hilary Duff.

Oh my gosh, I just cracked up laughing so hard I scared my dog when I read Serena's:

Tiny Tim! Bwhahahahaha! Oh my gosh, he is worse than awful! :teeth:

Streisand is really bad too. :o I forgot about her.

Hey! Who said Eric Clapton! In my best Cowardly Lion voice, "Put 'em up ... put 'em up!" ;)

Ruben Studdard
Kelly Clarkson
Fantasia
any and all hip-hop or rappers
Jerry Garcia
Neil Young
Bob Dylan
Bono
Tina Turner
Janis Joplin

Oh yuck - I forgot about Michael Bolton. I must have blocked him from my memory to protect myself from the horror that is his voice.

For me, the absolute worse is Tiny Tim. Who ever gave him a mike the first time should be shot. :crazy2:

Does he even qualify as a singer? :teeth:

Anytime I hear RUSH on the radio, I RUSH to turn it off!

But they are a group. Singers, hmmmm, well, anything pop is really not my style. I'm a rock and roll kinda gal, and most top 40 stuff annoys me. The worst being probably Bryan Adams for male, and Mariah Carey for female.

Ethel Merman :)

Though there were quite a few heavy metal bands from the 80's that came to mind when I was trying to think of the worst singer I'd ever heard (professional, that is)....Anyone ever heard of King Diamond ? Loudness ? There were several back then that I would have rather listened to a dentist drill than their albums...lol

Oh boy, I have a few to list:

Celine Dion :crazy2: :headache: :crazy2: I don't like her songs, her voice and I can't stand to watch her sing, it makes me :crazy2:

Bob Dylan
Stevie Nicks
Britney
Jessica Simpson (another one I can't stand to watch sing :crazy2:)
Macy Gray :headache: :headache:
Fantasia
Mariah

Anyone ever heard of King Diamond ?

I loved King Diamond's voice! How he could go from that low, gutteral sound to the high-octave singing was great! Abigail - what an awesome album!

(Trust me, I know I'm probably going to be the only person on this forum defending King Diamond. 99% probably never even heard of him.)

And I can't believe two people slammed Geddy Lee. Back in the day, when he was still good, I loved his voice too.

I've heard car crashes that were more musical ;)

To each his own I guess...lol

Can't speak for King Diamond, but I LOVE Geddy Lee. And I hate Bob Seger's voice. Different tastes I guess... :)

Clay Aiken. His physical presence just totally gives me the willies. He's replaced Maria Shriver at the top of my "Creepiest Celebs" list. She was at the top for a long long time, too!
