What a fun thread. My guide is Derek DeBoer and he is fabulous. I love that he is at Doorway to Dreams and and just a 10 minute drive away!

We were at DL this week and started the process to add on 100 points at the VGC, so we have picked up Sergio Mayoral as our west-coast guide. Bobby Corsello is our east-coast original guide.

Not going to name mine, and don't see the name in this thread more than once. What I can say is that this person has been pretty much worthless, and the term "guide" is a total misnomer. What this person was was a sales rep - nothing more, nothing less - and never did a thing after the initial purchase. In a word ... worthless.

Sorry to hear that. I've heard that many guides don't get a hold of members unless the members call first. Thank you for your input though

Perhaps it was his day off? My guide only works 3 or 4 days a week. When I first toured, she was off and had another guide give me the tour.
