Who is/was your favorite Looney Tunes character?

"The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour."
(curtain rises)
"Overture, curtain, lights!
This is it. The night of nights.
No more rehearsing or nursing a part.
We know every part by heart!
(cane flip)
Overture, curtain, lights!
This is it. We'll hit the heights!
And oh, what heights we'll hit!
On with the show, this is it!
(character procession)

Lets stick to the classics!

"Quit steamin' up my tail!"

None of the watered down, edited versions or the lame, newer cartoons which just aren't funny.

Have you seen the Road Runner where all the crashes have been edited out as being too violent? I grew up watching these cartoons every Saturday morning, and not once have I ever entertained the thought of dropping an anvil on someone's head (I realize some of you younger folks may not know what an anvil is...since you were deprived of the glory days of Looney Tunes).

Daffy Duck, makes me laugh all the time. Lola is a close second.

I like the new Looney Toones show as do my kids. We laugh a lot at each episode. I'm glad they updated the LT series for younger folks.

Marvin the Martian and Taz.

Thought I perfered Tiny Toons over looney tunes

And I loved Baby Taz in Baby Looney Tunes.

I saw an interview with some of the creators of the original Looney Tunes. Unlike today, they did not target the cartoons to a specific age group, target age, etc...and did not create them to sell stuffed animals or toys and such...they created characters/situations/cartoons which made each other (the other ADULT cartoonists) LAUGH...something lacking in most modern cartoons.

About ten years ago, we were at my BIL's house for Christmas...all the adults were in the kitchen talking...the kids were all in the den. We noticed that they were not talking, but were laughing their heads off...seriously laughing.

We went in there to see what was going on...they were watching classic Tom & Jerry Cartoons. Not too many kid shows on tv any more which are truly funny.

My kids love Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes! We've watched both so many times they actually yell out for me to hurry up and get in the livingroom because my favorite part is coming on(Usually it's my 14yr old son). We watch both on Cartoon Network and I've bought a few DVDS. Classic!

Well, that makes 3 of us. I love Gossamer!

The only people I know that know his name, know it, because of me telling them his name.....

He has always been a favorite of mine and under used in the cartoons.

This is my favorite cartoon character anywhere. I have some of his stuff but it's not easy to find! I always wish that one of the themeparks would do the Looney Tunes thing right. Six Flags doesn't do them justice.

:thumbsup2 Yep. I knew that I could read when I was able to understand the sign that Wile E. Coyote ("Super Genius") held up before he fell off of the cliff!
