Who is waiting for a public code??

Hi all disney fans!
I keep reading the code threads and I am noticing that a lot of you out there are waiting for an AP code. Who out there is with me in waiting for a public code. I need one to come out for the end of May!!! Hopefully the code gods will help us public people out too!!

I'm with you!!! I don't think it's going to happen though. I HATE to be negative but it seems so booked for our time in June. Contemporary is completely booked and WL doesn't have many rooms left either. Every time I call to check other hotels the CM's keep saying "it's so crowded during your stay" that doesn't give me much hope, but I NEED THEM!!!!

We're doing the dining plan so the AP rates won't help at all.

A code that is available to the general public as opposed to the AP rate or Florida Passholder rate. Sometimes they offer deals, like discounts on room only reservations or on the package vacations.

A code that anyone can use.

There are codes for passholders (AP or PAP)
Codes for Florida residents
Codes for those with a Disney Visa Card
Codes that are emailed (these have a pin attached and can't be shared)

If a code is posted on the boards, it's good for everyone.

A three letter code is for room only. A four letter code can be used to book a package.

ME Too. Waiting for some friends. I thought I saw some posts saying hopefully by 2/23, but I am not sure if that was AP rates. There is the Disney Visa ones! Thought maybe they would release to public after the Visa deals are released! Lets hope for some Disney Magic!

The last few codes were for both packages and room only.

I used an email code last April to book our package.(PC, one day base ticket and the dining plan)

I would also like to see if I could find a general code, since I am not a AP holder. I will going the first week of September and currently haven't booked my vaca yet cuz I am afraid that if I book with AAA and then later on a code comes out, I will have to give up the $$$ on the vacation insurance that AAA offers since it says it is non-refundable if I want to cancel.

I also am waiting for a code to come out for us plain folks that don't have AP's or Florida res. We are booked for a package for the middle of May, at this point I will take anything to save a little money. Lets keep our fingers crossed that some of that pixie dust fall on us too. Linda

We are going in mid March and when I bought my airline tickets in Nov. I thought surely there would be some sort of code. Well, I broke down on Fri. and booked a package through AAA. I would have been happy with the Visa one if it were during our time period.
I hope a good code comes out for all of you , but make your plans just in case.

I'm with you too!! Looking for a general code for the end of April.

The last time we went was in 2004 but in April and the code came out the beginning of March...Saved close to $800.00. Wow, was that great!!

Last time we went was october of 2004 and I got a code, I believe it was about 2 months in advance. We got POP at $74.00. Going moderate this time and expecting to pay full rack rate but it would sure be nice to get some money off!

Hoperfully, there will be public codes, but I'm not counting on it. I hated to pay rack rate at Pop Century last June (especially because some people during that timeframe got a postcard offer for $59 at Pop and $89 at the mods ) but I went ahead and did it. This year I decided to join AAA-- for our 9 night trip, the AAA discount saves us about $150 over rack rate, so it more than covers the membership cost.

I'd love to see a public code too. We won't have AP's for this trip and I wasn't able to use the Visa code b/c they do not applied to preferred rooms.

I'm hoping for a codes that will discount my AAA package. We went all out this year and booked a MYW package with dining through AAA. I've heard that if a deal comes out AAA will apply it to your reservation.
