Who is up for a HHN meet?

I was thinking of going to HHN this year, so why don't we coordinate a meet? When are people planning to go? I was thinking of doing the VIP tour. Who else is doing the VIP tour? Maybe we can have our own private tour if we can find 15 people. Plus, I know of an excellent VIP tour guide.

Great idea. To avoid the crowds, I was planning my trip for October 15th, which is the 1st Wednesday of HHN.
But if we do the VIP tour, we could go on the 3rd (Opening night) since we get FOTL. I'm interested.

Was $120 per person. Assume it will be about the same. Wonder how many can afford that? I can, but not sure about the teens.

Two so far...the teens can afford it. Their parents are rich (hopefully)! If not, we can do the stay and scream thing and maybe Universal Express booklets during HHN.

$120 for a VIP tour for HHN? Are you insane?!

You must be crazy to think teenagers can afford that...even if parents were covering the cost!

I could barely afford $150 for a concert ticket! And that was with an advancement from my parents. God, I need to get a job...babysitting just isn't cutting it!!!

Probably won't be able to attend HHN, but thought I'd clarify the whole teenager-tour cost, thing.


(Besides, I want to go, but don't. I'm a sissy when it comes to horror stuff!!!! Don't understand why... )

I'm getting a Frequent Fear Pass, so I'll go pretty much any non peak night. However, I won't do the VIP tour when I can go back as much as I want on non peak nights, so FOTL is not a big selling point for me.

Why November 1st?
That's when the event is over. People wanna go early so they can discuss the event on message boards. I'll go the 3rd, or 10th if meeting others, or the 15th by myself to avoid the crowd.

I see it as picking a day, meeting at the stay and scream area, and using the express booklets to get on the mazes faster.

Hey Rocketman, are the people on IOA Central going to do a meet? Maybe you can post a message and see what they think over there. Are you going opening night on the 3rd?

There's been talk of it, but it's no more for sure than what is on this thread. I'm only going the nonpeaks. Why buy an extra peak night when I will be going several other times, right? So, I'll be going on the 5th most likely.

I can definitly go before mid-October, Thursdays or Fridays for sure. After October 22, it's not very likley.

I cant go Nov 1 that would mean missing trick or treating with my kids. I could go the 16, 17, 18, 19. I could also go the beginning of oct just as easily. Theres a holiday the second week so thats out for me. I have a wedding on the 25th so thats out as well.

Any Thursday or Friday before the 22nd (October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 or 17) would be open for me. Any other date before October 22nd would be unlikely. Anything after October 22nd would be a big no-no.

I am debating on either the 5th or the 9th for my first date. I'm like rocketman I'll be getting a frequent fear pass and will not be doing the peak nights.

The 5th is ok for me, I'll take off work Monday so I can drive home.
That's why you see some not wanting to visit on the Sunday, because there's work/school the next day. But actually, it sounds like a better plan, crowd should be light.
Although, Tampa has the 6th off of school, they may drive over. I'll probably do HOS at BGT on the 4th, even if it is a Saturday night. Last year, I got there early and did all mazes in 2 hours. Then HHN on the 5th, meeting you guys at the Stay and Scream area. So if you guys wanna drive over for HOS on the 4th, we could meet at the gate, because I'll be near the front.

There is no HHN event on October 9th. Makes the choice a little easier, no?

As for HOS, I'm not quite sure yet. I'll either go when the club schedules a day, on the 4th, or on the Freaky Preview Weekend and add in the Fright Feast since admission is less that night and you get in early.
