He is a local comedian from here in NY but he had a few HBO specials. In my opinion he is a funny one-he does a skit where he plays all the players on a football team, and he has the "flying babushka act". Oh, yeah. Eddie is great. We taped his show a few years ago (several few years ago). Saw it again last night on HBO (I think it was HBO). Too bad about Englebert Humperdink.

I just found this thread. Oh, skporter, how right you are. He is the funniest man in the world.

Did you know some history teachers actually show Dressed to Kill in their classes to give a crash course in history and religion? I swear I learned more European history watching him (and laughing til I cried) then in any history lesson.

Eddie's take on the poor men who had to actually drag the stones many miles to make Stonehenge:

"Two hundred miles in this day and age?! I don't even know where I live anymore!"

Not to mention the stand up routine he does....in French. All hail Izzard!!!

I LOVED Sam Kinison.....We saw him live here in Houston a year or two before he died and we were rolling in our chairs with laughter.

I also really like Roseanne and Dave Chappell--his last comedy special on HBO "killing them softly" is sooooooo darn funny.
