Ok here is donut number 1. The maple bacon. Pretty freaking delicious. All the donuts look awesome. I might buy more. Did not make it to Gideon’s today but hopefully tomorrow. Having bf at homecomin. If not more donuts.

By mid afternoon our loop is half full but am expecting it to fill up in another hour or two

For being on vacation my day got busy. Started by working because of the issue at work and managed maybe 5 hours of sleep. Issue was fixed. I went to run. Plan was 9 miles but I stopped after 8. Was not having it. Then breakfast. Bert made pancakes and sausage.

Next was DS. Checked out Gideon’s but line was long. It was already 12:30 and still needed to go to Publix and be back for an unrelated work call at 3.

Got back about 2:15. Set up and got work computer out just before 3. At 2 the work issue popped up again. I was not happy. Had to rally the troops. Supposedly fixed last night afraid to look today.

Bert got the fire pit going because it was cold . Dinner was salmon and broccoli on the grill. Dessert was the peanut butter explosion donut.



It was good but thought maple bacon was better. I really want to try the strawberry iced with sprinkles

Then I was falling asleep.

Today I need to run then Disney springs again hope to get into Gideon’s after bf at Homecomin.

Successful day. I ran 6.5 miles and it was much better than yesterday’s run. Definitely campers coming in today. I ran through loops and much more filled probably 75% but that was at 8 am.

Then went to Disney springs. Got in line for the virtual queue for Gideon’s. At 10:30 am I had my virtual spot and they were quoting 130 minute wait. Fine with me on to brunch.

We had our stand by favorites.

Mine was the hallelujah biscuit



Bert had the short rib hash



Then went to world of Disney

I am Groot



@tigger92662 did not see a messenger bag.

Then to under armor to check out face masks. Something to run in. While there got my text to go back to Gideon’s. The inside was pretty neat.





I got one cookie each including the coffee cake cookie which is limited. Total of 7 cookies. Will take a pic once I open them.

Back to under armor and purchased masks. Then home. Need to change Mallory’s bandage then sit outside.

Everglazed donut at Disney Springs. It really was a good donut. They all looked wonderful.

Back at the fort we sat around, walked Mallory, then fire and dinner.





Mallory also got some pets from the neighbors. They are fosters for lab rescue so interested in our story. Mallory has not been eating super well but hoping it is because of the different setup. She is chirping a lot today but been a lot of activity. Loop is not full but much closer than mid week.

Hi Kris. Looks like you and Bert are having a great time and the food looks delicious. If you extend your stay, where does that put your check out date? Teresa and I will be checking in on February 16th. (Weather depending. We have to cross the mountain at Jellico on 75. If there is snow.............)

Well the plan to stay an extra week got cancelled when we went to dump the tank this morning. No issue with the tank but checked out our slide and the entire slide seal is off and caught in the slide. we are supposed to get rain tonight so we blue taped it for some protection. However that is an extra thing I was not planning to fix and I am sure it will cost as much or more than the week at Disney. @JETS70 even if we had stayed you would just miss us. We would have pulled out on Feb 13. Am actually kind of bummed an extra week sounded great. Plus it is supposed to be pretty cold mon, tues, wed.

right now it is beautiful. Next post will have pics and let you know what we did today.

Have you ever tried dodging dancing and singing cats pulling a fifth wheel at 70mph?

We check in on the 16th and out on the 20th. We are then headed over to the KOA at Madeira Beach for 4 nights. First time camping there.

How long will you be at the Fort? Park days Wednesday and Thursday and Fort days on Tuesday and Friday.
