DH is the speedy clicker in our family. I once saw a cartoon that said TV remotes are just another example of how a good invention can go bad when placed in the wrong hands!
I am a member of the CLICKER WOMAN club too. My DH is always complaining that I flip the channels too fast for him to tell what's on..........I can tell what's on & I can click even faster when I can see that it's something he'd want to watch that I don't. Maybe we're afraid that we're missing something better on another channel?
Anyone but me is in charge of the remote control. I don't watch much tv. My kids usually hide the remotes from each other, then they can't find it when they need it. When their daddy comes home, he usually tries to take the RC's over. I hate it when they flip through the channels! Drives me batty!
When we go places, I'm the radio clicker though. I radio surf and that drives them all batty.
Definitely DH. Once he gave me a TV for our bedroom, but informed me that the remote was HIS. Which is really OK by me...I'd rather DIS or read anyhow.
In order:
DH (always geez I hate war movies)
DD (its going to be star trek, voyager, enterprise, fortunatly I like these too, but several in a row!!!
The Cats
The Goats
The Chickens
And then, if I'm really lucky, or all alone ME
DH has the remote most of the time and clicks through channels too quickly to see whats on, and I don't care cuz I'm not much of TV watcher, but if I walk into the room and want to watch ....like when ER is on, he'll stop and offer it to me He wants me stay and watch with him
