Grand Californian Home away from home.....love it. So hard to stay anywhere else. We have stayed at Howard Johnson before.

Counting down to Friday. We had a wonderful trip to WDW. I did my water exercises every day. Now this week, some good friends are visiting us, different day trips. My friends have been supportive and helpful. Thank you for your encouragement, Dan. I had a difficult time sleeping last night, went on line again to check on the particulars of the operation, like who should get the bilateral. Yes, I am that person. I studied again the description of the procedure, it makes sense. It calmed me down.

Counting down to Friday. We had a wonderful trip to WDW. I did my water exercises every day. Now this week, some good friends are visiting us, different day trips. Hi! Wanted to check in here to say hello to all my Cheer Leaders!

Operation was Friday, came to in house rehab on Monda. We do 3 kinds of therapy classes, Walking, Physical therapy and Occupational Therapy.

I feel pretty good about my achievements, the most striking for me was walking up and down 4 steps with help. A week ago I could not have done it as well with any kind of help. The fact that I can do it is so encouraging. There is a long way to go, but thank you Dan and everyone else for the well wishes!

Update on our vacation schedule, We had to cancel Vero Beach due to my Wheaten Terrier having knee surgery. I just couldn't leave right after her surgery and having someone else taking care of her. So we rescheduled for July 12 - 15 at SSR. VB was already filled for July, so we're going to spend a few days at WDW.
