Who is going? When?

Just booked DLR for next Dec. Taking DGD there for the first time.
Wanted to get her there before she turns 3!

I have added May 7 to 12 to my May trip! I have added these days for Tom to join me after my "gals" trip!

I decided to cancel our cruise in November and booked Dec 12 - 17 at VWL instead in order to see all the Christmas Decorations and do some of the Christmas activities around Disney World.

Oh, we will miss you Jean...our December plans are now

December 8-12 VWL
December 12 to 13 at VB
December 13 to 18 on DCL!

Bobbi, that's too bad it would of been nice to meet up. My first choose was the 5 - 10 at VWL until my husband told me that the 12 - 17 was better for him. Maybe next time our dates will match.

My sister and I have finally booked our vacation to WDW!! We will leave October 30th on the train and be in wdw on the 31st. We will head home on November 7th!!

Ok...I will have both knees replaced in April, so May had to be scraped!

We booked BWV for April 14-18, as a quick visit before the operation. Then I have until August to recover, hopefully in time for the Member Cruise!

Good luck, Bobbi. Hope all goes well.
Have you talked to Dan about his replacements?

Wishing you well, Bobbi. I had my left knee replaced (after many years of saying no) back in early October. I am doing fine now, five months down the road. You probably have heard it from many, do your therapy, do your therapy. It is tough, very tough, but necessary. I was in the hopital for 3 nights, 4 days, then to an acute care short term nursing home for 15 days for inpatient therapy, 3 sessions a day. Then home and one month of outpatient, 3 times a week PT and one month of 2 times a week outpatient PT.

I agree with all those whom I spoke to prior to the operation, who had had knee replacements (and there were a lot over the years). They said (and now so do i) that the operation is tough, the therapy is tough, but the results are great, feel so much better, should have had it done sooner. I agree on all accounts. I think a big key is the inpatient post operation focused physical therapy time.

You will do great, Bobbi, prayers and good wishes go with you.

Thanks for the advice and the prayers and well wishes! I am glad to hear how good you are doing, and I look forward to saying the same after my operation! I have been looking for an answer to my walking and climbing stairs problems for years. I think I am in good hands. I will be recovering in Cape May NJ where I can live on one level, and there's even a ramp to the door, so no steps at all. I have some anxiety since I do not quite understand how it works when both knees are done at once, but I have no good knee. My doctor said that if it were him, he would do them both at once, and I trust him. I have heard stories of folks who had both done at once, but do not know anyone personally. My Physical Therapist, Carrie, is very happy with the decision, she strongly feels that's best for me as well.

So, I will do my best to be a success story. The way I am now is hard as well.

Bobbi

Doing a vacation this May with just me and DS5 & DS8! Looking forward to it!
We will be at WDW May 3-May 11

Just booked a mother/daughter trip for June 24 - 30. Staying at Caribbean Beach.

Carol and I had our first Mother/Daughter trip in December. I can't wait to do another one! I've put a bug in her ear about Disneyland during Spring Break 2016. Since she's teaching now she has less options than before.

Have fun, Bobbi and hope the surgery goes well!!
We leave for Disneyland next Sunday!! :yay: I hear a lot is being refurbed so we'll see what we have to so. 60th birthday celebration starts in May. We will be back in Oct and Dec though :woohoo:
