Who is going to Poly June 2011

DS8,DD6,DD3...It will be DS8 and DD6 second trip and DD3 first trip..glad to know that teens are still interested in Disney...

We told our oldest she can pick anywhere within reason or a sweet 16 party and she chose Disney with a friend. Darn, now we have to go to Disney again??!! Well if we have to...

Congrats on your DD3 first visit.. It's soo great to see their faces, seeing Disney for the first time! Society forces kids to grow up way too fast especially in this city of Philadelphia. Disney kind of reminds them they are allowed to still be a kid.

I see that some of you are repeat Poly visitors so I have a question for you, have any of you tried the Neverland club? We are thinking of dropping the kids off there one night for a night out at EPCOT or dinner. Just looking for some opinions. Anyone?

We have not personally used them.. I can tell you that they are known as the best in all of Disney.. And if you want them you should make reservations with them soon.. There is also a in room babysitting service, they are bonded and approved to come to resort. I believe it's called fairy godmothers.

Just sitting here thinking about Disney on our snow day
We are expected to get between 12-18inches on snow today
It is fun...I am off school and so are the kids..I've caught up on laundry and they have caught up on TV. We are about to play games and study some math facts, DS is studying multiplication and is stuck on 7s. Hope everyone has a safe day..and if you live someplace warm..go get some sun and send it to Illinois...How do I get one of those neat count down tickers that you all seem to have at the bottom of your message and is there a way to save my signature line so I don't have to redo it after each post?

Gotta be rough in Illinois.. we lived in CT for a while.. snow wasnt a big deal. probably a lot like great lakes area! so I know what you are going through.

now on to the important stuff.. LoL
to make a banner.

click on anyones banner that you see. it will take you to a website that will walk you through actually making the banner. when you are done it will give you a URL it will more than likely be in a box look for the one labeled BBCode right click and select all.. then copy it. next is the hard part..
go back to Dis. On the top left side of your screen in the dark blue line you will see UserCP click on that. it will take you to a screen with a whole bunch of stuff lited on the left side scroll down to find Signature. click it. a box will open up like the one you use to post.. right click in the box and paste.. on the bottom of the box you will see preview and submit. preview it and you should see your new banner if you did it right. then click submit.. that easy..

It's been several years since our last trip to the Poly. Last time, our oldest was not even two so we never ventured out after bed time. This trip, I'm hoping to take in the fireworks from the beach. Just curious about how crowded it gets. Are there lots of non-Poly people that invade for fireworks?

The crowds aren't really bad. You don't have to sit in a spot an hour prior like MK. Anywhere along the walkway by the beach is beautiful! Everyone has their "best spot" at the poly to watch wishes. The best part about your trip. You have 7 nights to find yours..

We're currently booked at BC, but changing over to the Poly. I am a fanatical resort changer.

We'll be at the Poly 6/3-6/12. I see lots of you will be there when we are. Very exciting!

We switched our dates from April and are now going June 7-14. We wanted to do a Disney cruise but couldn't find a date that would work, and Hawaii is too far from Utah with an 18-month old. So, we opted for the happy medium--Hawaii, Disney-Style!!! Throw in some Star Wars, and we're set. I've stayed at the Polynesian years ago when I was in high school. This will be my husband's and our daughters' (1 1/2 and 6) first stay there (and their second Disney trip) and our first REAL family vacation where we are not tagging along with siblings, parents, cousins, etc. Can't wait!!!

I haven't stayed at the BC, so I don't know what the rooms can accomodate. I think a deluxe room can accomodate 5, so I don't know what would work for 6 people.
