Who is going in august/when/where

Sadly I have had to reschedule my trip from the end of August to November. Sigh.

I will be going solo 8/17-8/19 on a short weekend trip from Hawaii. I plan on riding RSR over and over, to the exclusion of all else (oh ok, I'll throw WoC in there). On 8/18, I will be wearing my "La Legende du Roi Lion" t-shirt (black with mostly orange colored graphics) from Disneyland Paris, so if you see me in the RSR line, please say hi :)

I was wondering Jack what happened exactly anyway to you? What with having had to go to hospital. Hopefully everything is fine.

~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

The Tower on an early August morning, the haze starting to lift.

10 days until August!!! Costco mailed out our package yesterday for arrival on Monday.:yay:

4 of us arrive early am on the 31st( I am a closet July thread gal!!!) and 3 of my kids arrive 8/1. We are so counting down!!!

I have a killer work week ahead of me and a family reunion thrown in next weekend. We leave at 6Tues am from Seattle so that means driving through the night Mon to check in at 4am. My brother works util 10 pm the night before and who knows when I will be actually ready to walk out the door!!!:lmao:

Just starting to play aroung with real days on RideMax and a loose daily plan. We don't have any charachter meals or sit down this time so we are pretty loose on our times.

The best thing about planning this trip is my kids unstressing me out -they really don't care what we do every day or even if we do the rides at CL. They are just happy all being together having this incredible family time at DL!!!:grouphug: My brother who has't been there in 20 years will be like a kid in a candy shop! He is so ready to just go with the flow and be with us.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

***Jack, hope your health is improving daily with no bumps on the road to recovery and the possibility of you joining your family on your August trip becomes more of a probability every day! Blessings***

Update on my plans, my friends and I will be staying at the Carousel Inn and Suites. :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone,
We are now booked Aug. 13 - 15 at the PPH. It will me myself and 3 daughters. DH (always the unlucky bug) has jury duty and it is for a grand jury, so he may or may not be able to join us.
Trying to get a plan going. We'll have the Extra Magic Hour all 3 days at the parks so I'm trying to come up with a plan. Kids want to leave our house before the crack of dawn the first day to make it to the hotel, check in, and be at security by 6:15am. Pulled this off last year so I feel it's doable again. I feel pretty confident that we know what we're doing for an early entry into DL (order of rides and FP collection etc), but I'm a bit shaky on a solid plan for DCA. So I remember reading somewhere that its best to enter DCA at the main gate for EMH instead of thru the Grands entrance. Is there a particular gate or whats the deal?? Then what? Do we try to get on RSR or do we pull a FP for that and ride other stuff? Sorry if this was answered somewhere, I started looking for a tread on the subject and got caught up looking at food porn pictures for hours. :rolleyes1
Please, any help with a plan would be appreciated.
Jack, hope you're doing well!

I just booked PPH from Aug.5th thru Aug. 9th. We were supposed to go the week of June 18th at VGC but my dear wife of 30 years was battling adrenal cancer and unfortunatly lost her fight on July 7th. She loved our many trips to Disneyland with our four children and was so excited when we joined DVC about 5 years ago. I know it is going to be a very difficult trip for my daughter and myself because of all the unbelievable memories we have of our many visits over the past 15 years. My heart aches just writing this. I miss you so much Gayle.
