Who is Gaston?

Yes, that is the same one...he has an amazingly expressive face...the raised eyebrow is fabulous...like watching a real human version of a cartoon.

Isn't that smirk just awesome? :)

This one is the BEST GASTON EVER!

This guy has soooo much talent...Gaston perfect! Love him...watching him doing meet & greet was like watching mini-show. What a character. We saw other Gastons during the visit, and they didn't hold a candle to this guy. (This Gaston was on several of the national news stories about the opening of New Fantasyland...he's that good.)

Yes, he is. I have so many pictures of him because he's so amazing. He knows that I love photographing him so he always poses for me. I was at Magic Kingdom the other day and he came out, saw me, and came right over to me. He took me to the side of his fountain, we sat down, he took my arm, and told me how much everybody appreciates what I do. When he came out to do his next set, he handed me a note he wrote me. It was the sweetest thing.

Loribeth and mom2,yes that one Gaston is wonderful! He took his time with each child and after he signed the book, he would hand the autograph book back to the child's "servant", he would ask, "You have a servant? Nice, so do I"
He also had a little boy come up to him and hand him some of the confetti from the Move It ,Shake It parade, and Gaston asked "Where did you get this?" and the little boy said "Disney World" and Gaston said " Ive not heard of this Disney World" the boy put the confetti in Gaston's hand and it fell on the ground, Gaston spent quite a bit of time picking it all up to hand back to the little boy.
Another time he signed an autograph book, then drew a line/arrow over to Belle's picture on the opposite page and told the little girl "I wrote a little note for Belle too"
This Gaston is so into character and is so charming, was wonderful to see!

These are the sort of interactions we love WDW for.

Awesome stories!

Loving this thread. I've always loved Beauty and the Beast growing up and Gaston has always sort of been my favorite villain.

My mom and I met Gaston on our trip. One of our best character meet and greets ever!

This new Gaston seems really awesome! Great for the kids and non-threatening, which I worried about a little bit.

Back in the mid-90s, Gaston used to come out at France in Epcot. We had a great video of him casually interacting with the guests, who weren't sure what to do with him LOL. He went up to one young woman and said something like "yes I AM handsome, aren't I?" and "yes, I'm sure you are all honored to be in Gaston's presence". He was really full of himself, but in a really humorous way. It was great!

My DD was afraid to see Gaston because she was wearing her Belle dress and she didn't want him to fall in love with her too. After she got up the courage, she was swooning too. ;)

My DD swooning over Gaston...

She really looks afraid of him doesn't she? ;-)

This thread is just delightful. Now I'm wondering what would happen if you got 3 girls to go as the triplets :scratchin Anyone in?

Gaston during our visit two weeks ago :lovestruc (this is my first time trying to upload photos, so I hope I did it right). He was saying how wonderful it was to be him and how he needed his own castle. :goodvibes

That was our Gaston! Loved him! He was definitely turning on the charm thick on the ladies and little girls when we were there. I could have just sat and watched him interact with everyone and been thoroughly entertained.

Oh my. DO IT .

When we were there in November, his exact words to my daughter were: "Come her child so you can admire me up close".
