Who is buying Harry Potter tomorrow?

I have the 2 disc verison on order, but I doubt it will be delivered tomorrow.

Looks like the best deal for the 1 disc version is at Circuit City.

I ordered it from Amazon. I hope we will have it to watch this weekend.

I'm going to Best Buy for the 2 disc special edition because I NEED the deleted scenes and interviews.

BB's price was $20, which beat Target's ad of $22.

The single disc version at BB is GOF plus any other previously released Harry Potter dvd for $20, which is cool for those who might not own all of them.

Buying two! One for our family and one for my sister's family.:)

Just an FYI for those who might not know -

The regular single disc version does not have ANY special features whatsoever. If this is important to you, you need to buy the two disc Special Edition.

I rented this the other day and was very dissapointed to find out that they left all special features off. I think a lot of people will be dissapointed when they rent it or buy the "normal" version.

My DD (16); she's been waiting! Her Daniel Radcliffe obsession continues unabated.

Thanks for the info on the difference between the 2-disc version and the single-disc version. I'll put DH on alert so he doesn't get the single tomorrow.

:)

Wait.... have you guys seen harry potter, because it sucked. I know most of you probably aren't into this kind of thing but, read the book.

I have read the book- all of them. Several times. And plenty of other novels on a regular basis.- I think it is probably safe to say that other people on here have too.

I am buying the movie tomorrow, and watching it after dinner! Can't wait. :goodvibes

What makes you think that we're not into reading the books? That came off sounding a bit "snobby". Sorry to burst your bubble, but I've read all the books and so have many people who post here -- and we've been discussing the books throughout the years. Just do a search on Harry Potter and you'll see lots of threads on both the books and the movies on the DIS. I enjoy reading the books more ... but the movies add to my pleasure. And, I didn't think the movie sucked. Sure, they changed some things, left some things out ... but I don't know of many movies that stay rigidly true to the book. If it followed the book verbatim, it'd be something like a 6 hour movie!!!! Not that I wouldn't mind watching HP for 6 hours ... but it's a bit unrealistic.

You can count me in on buying the movie, too. So many options of where to purchase w/the special goodies ... do I really *need* the free lithograph if I go to Circuit City? Do I need the special box w/the moving picture on the front? Oh, decisions, decisions!!!!

In 9.5 more hours I will have this movie in my happy little hands!

I'll be buying it at Wal-mart on my way home tonight!!

I will be buying it at Best Buy with the price match from Circuit City because I have a BB reward certificate that expires real soon. I may also pick up HP 1 on DVD as we have it on VHS and I would rather it be on DVD. I won't worry about the deleted scenes, seems I don't watch them anyway!

Good buying tomorrow!

We are. This is the only way DD can watch it. She can't sit that long through a movie at the theater.
