I've heard there are egg hunts all over (well maybe not ALL over) property. Am I starting a rumor or is it true. Is it only at resorts. My kids are grown but there must be others who want to know if it is true or if I am just starting a great rumor. LOL

Yes, there are egg hunts!! We were at the Poly last year and my 7 yo DD participated!! It was great. They give out small Easter baskets to each of the children to gather the candy, and numbered eggs. If you are lucky enough to get a number egg you can turn it in for a nice prize. (They are divided into age groups). DD was a lucky winner and got a gift basket with candy, a Mickey beach towel, and a beanie size Mickey. She was just thrilled. They have coffee, juice and cookies for everyone!! They also had characters there. I think we had Belle and Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. Bring your camera!! It was one of the highlights of our trip. I think they do this at most if not all of the on- property resorts. We will be doing it again this year. Hope this helped!!

had one last year. DD10 at the time really enjoyed herself. They had seperated the kids into different age groups and marked off areas covered in hay. Then the kids had to dig around for their treats!

They also brought around the characters, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Doanld, for pic ops.

They gave out Easter Bunny Hand Puppets (Plastic) to collect the goodies in.

Oh how I wish we were going back! Decided to try offsite this year! I hope it isn't a mistake!

What day do they do that on? Sunday ? Silly question I know but just wondering

Hi Spinner!

It is on Sunday morning. The resort has all the info.

I think they slipped something under the door too!!

If I remember, it is at around 9 or 10 a.m.. We had a non-park day so it worked out well for us.

Hope this helps.

One of the few things that brightened the Easter trip when DD broke her leg skiing was Tigger pushing her wheelchair around to help her collect candy! We were camping at FW and just were amazed at the amount of candy WDW put out for the different age groups.
