Who here uses their points for weekend nights?

I'm thinking of packing a tent in our van and pitching it up at FW for the weekend!

Saving those weekend points would get us more trips and even those Mommy and Me getaways or adults only trips that I'm hoping for one day.

Some day I'll probably say I don't want to hassle with moving but I sure hope that day is far off because right now it's all about maximizing the number of days we are able to be there. We're teachers (and I've been off since my oldest was born) so funds are tight and points seasons are always high when we can travel.

Just look at the photos in my signature...I'd rather sleep in my car if it afforded any one of my kids a greater chance of experiences like that! Well...maybe not the car, but you get my point.

Points, buy them use them and enjoy!!!!. Never considered paying cash, I do that all year paying for DVC.

we use weekend points, my family doesn't do so well with packing up and moving. We'd rather stay where we are and spend extra points.

We purchased enough points to be able to stay on weekend points and not worry about it. It just makes it easier, and we take long weekend trips alot.

Same here. We usually travel Wed to Mon or Thurs to Mon. Sometimes Fri to Tues. But always over a weekend.
