Who here uses CM's SBC+ for digital scrapping?

Those would actually be really easy to use in SBC+, because they come with the .png's (and because they are nice, basic templates). You could also just use them as inspiration and make similar LO's in SBC+ using the photo boxes. I'm not sure what the fine line is there, since these templates are for sale. I'd probably buy them if I was going to copy them totally. You can also use the template preview as a guide to place the boxes. Bring the preview into your LO as the background, place the photo boxes on top of it, then delete (or hide) the original template.

Thanks Jessica! I had not thought about using the preview as a background guide. That is a great idea!:thumbsup2 And please let me know if/when you are able to get your epcot template (the one with the four photo squares and then the mickey head on top) up and running, I would definitely love to have that one. Thanks again!

It works! It works! Thank you so much Jessica, I really appreciate it!:goodvibes

No problem. Thanks for reminding me again. I have some more blank templates (non-Disney) to share, too. most of them are based on PageMaps. I have to get them organized and I'll let you know when they are up!

Sounds great! Thanks again!:woohoo:

Wow! Totally love your use of the templates! I am just getting my hands dirty in digital scrapping and would love any advice on using the templates. I have a trip in December I am getting fired up for!!

WooHoo!! :woohoo: I am doing the 'Happy Dance'. I bouth SBC+ last fall, and with the package I bought, there was a coupon that was good til the end of June. I sat down for two nights at the computer and scrapped our vacation photo's from last summer. What you need to know is this is my very FIRST scrapbook that I have finally completed for myself. I have been going to do 'traditional' scrapbook for the past 10 years, but I get such a creative block when I pull out all the papers, embellishments...etc. So, I just wanted to say the with SBC+, I have FINALLY been able to complete a scrapbook!

Now I am just waiting patiently until my Storybook arrives.

Peggy-Congrats on finishing your first scrapbook! I am sure that is a great feeling of accomplishment which will feel even better once can actually hold you work in your hands. Just be forewarned....this is highly addictive!;)

How do I make picutres shapes other than the square that is under the photo tab? I would like to make some longer rectangles but I have only figured out how to use the square drop photo here.

It's not at all hard to do! After dropping the photo square, right click it and select "aspect ratio." Then click "Unlock aspect ratio", and you can make it any size you need.

Good luck!

Happy Belated 4th of July!!

Here's a 12 x12 template if anyone would like it. :goodvibes

Thank you so much Christie!!! You do such beautiful work and it is so kind of you to share it with all of us! :flower3:

Wow! So purchasing the templates from another website like ScrapMatters would be more for the shapes and not the ease? I love the work everyone does but have had to take each file and use them seperate and pretty much use others art work for inspiration. I appreciate everyone's help on this thread as I am new to CM SBC+ and look forward to making my next trip into a beautiful book!

I have been saving all of my finished pages in a folder on my desktop. While I am working on a page, I save it in Story Book. How can I delete some of the completed pages that are still saved in Story Book?

I believe they are under a file like "my documents" and they have to be deleted through that. And SBC can not be open or in use while doing so.

Just an update. I received my Storybook from Mr. Brown today. I am very pleased with the quality. My husband was also pretty impressed. Now, I did have a couple of typo's in it, but that is okay. But I do know that I will take a lot more pictures of everything when I am on our next vacation.

I can't wait for vacation. We are going to Traverse City MI in September. Has anyone been there? If so, what are the must see/do's. ~Thanks!

Traverse City is a beautiful town with not much to do. We went over Memorial Day and literally everything closed at 8 or 9. Maybe we are young (30's) or just had a weekend with no kids that we could go out and even get ice cream! Make sure you pack your warm clothes too! However the sunsets on the lake are spectacular! So scrap it!

I've read posts where some of you say that your album would have cost $XX through CM, but it only cost you $XX through Snapfish or some other company. How do you send your albums to both places to get a comparison price? I'm not even sure how to send my album to CM for printing, but I'm ready to print it now, so I need to figure it out.

Thanks,
Rae

When I did it, I uploaded the pages to two sites (Cm and Shutterfly), made the books and started the checkout process. I took it all the way to the part where I had to enter my card# and stopped. Then I made the decision about where to buy. It took a while, but it was worth it to me. Of course, now that I'm thinking about signing up as a CMC again, I guess I'll be re-thinking where I order my books and prints from!! :rolleyes1
