I haven't gotten to see anyone's Photopass pics yet, but I'm hoping to! Lin, I know you emailed me yours. Linda, did I get yours yet? I'm still wading through my 2100 junk emails trying the find the few that I actually wanted.
Lyzziesmom, so sorry about what your mom said! I hate expectorants, they make me feel all nasty. YOU ARE A GREAT MOM!!!!!
THANK YOU!! I like to think so.

I did tell my mom that the pediatricians always recommend Delsym, and she said, "Did this dr. say that this time?" Does it matter?! Sheesh. I always thought the Beaches or Sandals resorts look heavenly. If I didn't go to WDW, I'd want to go to Beaches. It looks really fun, and I love the all-inclusive idea. Cruises are always a lot of fun too, and you can sometimes find them pretty cheap. Lastminutecruises dot com has some GREAT deals! Usually not on
DCL, but pretty much any other line, as long as you're flexible. For the time being, we will continue to vacation at WDW because they are one of the only places that don't charge a single supplement. Beaches occasionally waives it for "single parents month" but I refuse to pay more for airfare than for the rest of the vacation! And I'm not interested in a singles cruise, I don't want to hook up, I want to spend time having fun with my kids (so roommates wouldn't work well either). WDW ends up being by far the cheapest place for us - I can see that changing soon though. I just hope they never start a single supplement, those are awful. You have to pay for a 2nd adult even if you don't have one with you! Because they could just as easily fill the rooms with a party that does have two adults. Most everything is priced "based on double occupancy" and if it's single occupancy, then you still have to pay the full price of the room/cruise/whatever, but it's not split between two people. It stinks!
Lesa: Oh no, I hope they hear from the dr. today! I'd hate to see that you went through all that for nothing. Best of luck!
pozey: SOOOO sorry we forgot!! Since you'll probably be full of cake, here's a balloon for you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FAVORITE CLIQUELESS CHICO, POZEY!!
Today is a bad day for me. It's the day that I married Emma's dad 4 long years ago. It was when I started to see through his act, it pretty much began to fall apart a few hours after the ceremony. I have been fairly successful at blocking a lot of the details out of my memory, but they always seem to find their way back around this time. It feels like it was a lifetime ago, and I'm a very different person now.
Well that's enough of that. I went to the mall on my lunch break to check out TDS' Semi-Annual Sale. It was great! I got a Mickey wintery snowglobe for Lyzzie, some Christmas pins for trading 1(although I might want to keep mine, they are so cute) that have Mickey holding some dangly mistletoe - that actually moves! - over Minnie's head and smooching, some activities and socks for the kids for the trip, and .... oh yeah ..... SHIRTS for our GF photoshoot!
For me:
For the girls: I couldn't find the right item online; it's similar to this one but in the same cream color as my shirt, and it has three princesses on it instead of just the one.
Of course now I see that had I ordered online, I could have gotten 40% off instead of 25% off -- but they don't have the kids shirts online anyway so no big deal. I might have to order my shirt and a couple of the other things though if it still ends up saving some money after shipping.
