YM - I looked up Southwest and saw that flight! that is awesome, and the flight times are great!!! We usually don't travel Southwest, but we'll be able to keep that in mind for future trips.

I'm in a WDW kind of mood - I'm sitting here DISing and listening to an Old Key West ambient music loop..... I'M READY TO GO! One of my friends from work flew out there today, she's staying at Shades of Green, and it's her first trip. I told her she needed a tour guide.... She said I could go if I could fit in her suitcase!

Then why aren't you there!?!?! I want to go to WDW so badly!!! But I think Blake is serious that this will be our year off We usually go every 2 years but from June '05 thru June '07 I went 4 times!! I don't think he will go for that again. We are renting a house in Traverse City for vacation this summer. It will be nice, but no Disney. I just want to be warm again...and see a palm tree!!!

I am very grateful that I didn't have to deal with the snow going to work this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be cold but then over the weekend it is supposed to be up in the 40's, which is very warm for here in January.


Lyzziesmom...love the Tink case!! I have this thing for luggage, bags of any kind actually. I am always looking at new ones. I have gotten much better at stopping myself from buying anymore.

OMG! I am watching the Hawaii/Georgia football game. I really wanted Hawaii to show everyone what they could do. But now I am wishing they could do better than this...they are getting smoked!

Well,, its my first day of work in 2008 and I have to go in at 7:30.
I havent checked the temp yet..lets see.. wow! Its 48 degrees! the lowest temps in 5 years, during the next few days...lows in the mid 30s tonight.
am I really in Florida?
I hope everyone has a fun day off, or good day at work as the case may be.
I am sad that the Gators lost yesterday. I love Tim Tebow! it was a good game though. two of my coworkers went to the game, I will have to get the scoop.

Nathan doesn't go back to school until Monday and Gary took the rest of the week off to be with him and work on the basement. I, however, have to go to work as usual.


How about continuing our healthy theme for breakfast this morning? This yogurt, granola and fruit looks yummy to me!!

Pozey...have you ever tired those Rhoades cinnamon rolls with the real cream cheese frosting? They come in a foil pan ready to cook. They are really really good. That's what the boys had for breakfast today!

I have had the Rhoades dinner rolls, but not the cinnamon rolls. I'll have to look for them. I always get the Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon rolls.

There's a lot of trips I want to do - (a week at Vero, a week at Hilton Head, a week long cruise, a week somewhere tropical with white sands, palm trees, and a cute cabana boy named Juan) but I can't imagine NOT going to Disney.

Donna - thanks for the healthy breakfast! I'm afraid I'm in for a shock to my eating habits.... DH has taken to watching BBC's "You are what you eat" and I suspect I will be trading in my cinnamon rolls for smoothies, and my filet mignon for fish. *sigh* At least I'll look better in a wetsuit.

Linda:: I read Nathan what Kenny typed. He is working with his Lincoln Logs and says he may take a picture of his "tower" for Kenny to see!!!

how cute! Kenny kept going on how I take over the computer and he doesn't get to type messages so, I thought I better let him I bet his tower was awesome!

Linda: Kenny's typing is great! Lyzzie is into using my phone to text message my parents, she won't let me see what she's sending which is funny because she knows I can go in and look it up later. It's amazing how fast she picked it up, it took her about 10 seconds to get the hang of it. Can you imagine how HER kids will be communicating?
When we were at Target today Emma wanted to get in the cart, so I knew she wasn't feeling good because usually that's her punishment. Next thing I knew I heard a big snore, and she was sleeping sitting up in the cart! Poor kid. I've been jumping through hoops to sign into my Sprint website (they just updated and we all know how THAT goes) but here she is:

He does pretty well for his age. They have computer lab at school too. I'm sure that helps. way to go Lyzzie...texting away, at least it's to your parents poor Emma! You know something is wrong when they ask for something that is usually for punishment!

p.s. -- did you see my cute new Tink carryon? It was an unplanned purchase but at 50% off it was only $12.50 and I needed a bigger carryon anyway. How could I NOT buy it? It'll be great for in the parks too, I can hang it from the stroller handle. It's got tons of pockets and is perfect!

We had a great time in Austin. Our friends made a reservation at Fogo De Chao. It was so good (and expensive!)! A meat lovers paradise! Then they rented a suite at the hotel our friend works at and we had a crazy time!
My New Year's resolution- To journal my experiences and to learn everything I possibly can from the CP. I have 2 Tinkerbell journals that need to be filled!

I have been reading, but just haven't felt like posting (nothing to do with any of you, I just haven't felt up to it). I am getting over a cold, so maybe that has something to do with it.


We spent New Year's at home and went to bed early. We used to go out, but then had some bad experiences out, so now we like just staying home.

When it's in there just for "thrills" like in slasher movies -- uhhhh no thanks. Did I miss something, what's the deal with leaving early for work for the next 2 years?

Shannon: Oh no, I hope FL warms up soon! I remember when we lived there, when it got into the 60's I was putting on my leather coat and gloves! I'm hoping for nice weather for our trip, it's only 24 days away! I checked the ************ dot com crowd calendar and one of the days is a THREE! I usually go when it's 4's or 5's and it feels empty, I have NEVER seen a 3. I'm thinking we chose a great time to go!!

Ahhh that explains why I can't find them. All our local WM's are not SuperCenters. The nearest SuperWM is about 25 minutes away across the state line. It's nice because the sales tax is lower, but we don't head out that way for anything else so it's a little too far to go just for the one store.

Linda: Nope, Kenny is definitely not shy! Ooooh, Hawaii would be so nice. Mike wants to go back to WDW again this year, yay! Maybe for the cruise/WDW trip if that's still on?

I'm totally stuffed up and my Sinex is all gone -- forgot the new one at home, along with my breakfast. My mom came over this morning so the girls could sleep in, but she showed up late and I had to rush rush rush. Great way to start the new year.
