oh, and I received the Disney Scene It game------I request Michele on my team.

How fun!! I have that game and no one here will play it with me...they say they don't have any fun

HAPPY 2008! Man you guys are up early. After keeping the kids up late, they slept in until almost 10am this morning -- and so did I of course! Tomorrow's going to stink, going back to work. Looks like I missed quite the party here last night! I wasn't far - just in the next room over. We had a really good night!!


Michele: Have fun scrapbooking today! I'd love to see some of your layouts if you have a scanner. I have two floor-to-ceiling cabinets full of scrapbooking supplies (and some old dining room table leaves waiting to be attached to the cabinets and made into a desk) but I haven't actually scrapbooked in a year or so. By the time I haul everything out, we need to use the table and it's time to clean up! I'm SO far behind it's overwhelming. It's so sad, I have a ton of empty Disney albums and big baggies of memorabilia. 100 pictures? That should be enough... maybe. I have plenty of paper, I always buy it when it's on clearance and stock up, but I'm low on ink. Stupid Dell doesn't have any generic ink and it's EXPENSIVE! But I love my printer, so what can I do?



I told the girls they were done with school until next year, and Lyzzie thought she missed the end of third grade!



I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up! I'll have to add it to my book club list - I have about 3 books I haven't started yet. I've been reading "Son of a Witch," the sequel to Wicked. So far it's pretty good, but I can never seem to find the time to read much. I keep falling asleep!

I don't have a scanner that would take my pages. I will try tomorrow to take some pictures. I need to find a new website to store my pictures. Shutterfly has been taking forever to load.


I told some of the kids at school as we were leaving for break...."see you next year!!" Some understood....some got really excited!!

Hey, I just about freaked this morning when I just happened to be reading my weekly Southwest "destination" email. I just happened to plug in some dates for fun (HisMajesty...if you are reading please stop ). They have added a non-stop flight from Tulsa to Orlando on Saturdays and a return non-stop flight on Saturdays. I can't believe that...no transfers if you fly Sat to Sat! Even if you can use one of the non-stops it will be glorious!

Oh you just happened to be checking flights to Orlando Sounds like something I would do!! It is fate...you have to go back...sorry HisMajesty

OMG!! It has taken me forever to post. I kept having too many images in my posts. Of course that was after they shut the boards down for 20 minutes or so.


I showed Bree all of the birthday wishes. She wants me to say...Thank you!!

Well we got about 5-6 inches here. Just north of us got about 10"
It was quite beautiful. It was the heavy, wet kind that sticks to the tree branches. I took some pictures before I headed to scrapbook this morning. I just wasn't that into it today. I stayed 6 1/2 hours but spent a lot of that time just talking ( or eating!!) I only got 7 pages done.

Poor Blake went out to snowblow this morning...got about half done, then the snowblower got a flat tire! He had to fix it because he needed to finish ours, then go to his parents house. Nick went to my parents to do theirs. They not only paid him, they fed him too. He got the much better deal!!

Blake has to go back to work tomorrow, the boys and I have 1 more day off. We go back on Thursday.

Michele:: Nathan would love to be playing in the snow right now. We didn't get anythng but a few flurries off and on today.
I'll bet Blake was really thrilled with the flat tire on the snowblower.


I'm cooking pasta for dinner and Dising, so if I disappear for a little while, I DID NOT fall asleep!! Just so you know!!!

Linda: Kenny's typing is great! Lyzzie is into using my phone to text message my parents, she won't let me see what she's sending which is funny because she knows I can go in and look it up later. It's amazing how fast she picked it up, it took her about 10 seconds to get the hang of it. Can you imagine how HER kids will be communicating?

Michele: The crop sounds like fun. I think 7 pages is pretty good. Did you manage to fit all 100 pictures in?

YM: Hmmm, a nonstop flight huh? I love "fantasy vacation planning." Only problem is, it usually leads to REAL planning!

When we were at Target today Emma wanted to get in the cart, so I knew she wasn't feeling good because usually that's her punishment. Next thing I knew I heard a big snore, and she was sleeping sitting up in the cart! Poor kid. I've been jumping through hoops to sign into my Sprint website (they just updated and we all know how THAT goes) but here she is:

p.s. -- did you see my cute new Tink carryon? It was an unplanned purchase but at 50% off it was only $12.50 and I needed a bigger carryon anyway. How could I NOT buy it? It'll be great for in the parks too, I can hang it from the stroller handle. It's got tons of pockets and is perfect!

We had a great time in Austin. Our friends made a reservation at Fogo De Chao. It was so good (and expensive!)! A meat lovers paradise! Then they rented a suite at the hotel our friend works at and we had a crazy time!

YM - I looked up Southwest and saw that flight! that is awesome, and the flight times are great!!! We usually don't travel Southwest, but we'll be able to keep that in mind for future trips.

I'm in a WDW kind of mood - I'm sitting here DISing and listening to an Old Key West ambient music loop..... I'M READY TO GO! One of my friends from work flew out there today, she's staying at Shades of Green, and it's her first trip. I told her she needed a tour guide.... She said I could go if I could fit in her suitcase!

I haven't had the opportunity to catch up from today, but I just needed to say that I saw Todd S. today, and well............................only for JD!!!!!!!!

The film was beautifully done, but quite dark ......and red. But, how in the world does that man remain so sexy slitting throats?????

I was feeling more than a bit

for quite a while......well, cuz you all know how testy my tummy can get. I am supposed to see it again this weekend, but I just couldn't wait. At least now I know and will keep telling myself.........just look into his eyes, just look into his eyes, nothing else, just his eyes.


oh, and can't forget him singing....................sigh
