Whew! I can dis again! When I tried to sign on on Friday and Saturday I got the server down message!!!!

But, I'm back! We had a great trip!!!!!!

Lin - welcome back! Can't wait to hear about your trip!

Nicole - that's just crazy about your Grandma. Sounds quite a bit like my sister, unfortunatley. I can see her getting like that for the attention when she gets older. Why are people like that ? I just don't understand.

Pozey - the birthday was fine, thank you! She got most everything she wanted for Christmas so Birthday was kind of tough to buy for but we picked up an extra GH controller, and just some fun stuff she wanted. I bought her some lottery tickets and put in her card. She won about $16 and a couple more tickets! Glad to hear your past few days have been going so well! :thumbsup2

YM - LOVING the trip photos! I especially liked the one of you and Linda leading the limbo (parade??). The boys look like they're having such a great time together.

Donna - no NYE plans for us, really. I have to work and we're going over to our friends' (the ones with the 2 year old) to play games and hang out for the evening.

Shannon - welcome back! I really can't wait to hear about Ashley's trip! How was yours? Tell me about the keys - we're thinking about making a trip to Largo for diving next winter.

Lyzziesmom - how's everybody around your house this evening? Kiddos feeling any better?

DznyFan: Nope, they're not feeling much better. Emma ran around the house with the cat for about 15 minutes this afternoon, then crashed on the couch and lost the laser pointer. She hasn't moved much since then. She's eating a little bit and seems to be keeping it down, so that's an improvement, but she is just not herself. Lyzzie actually feels ok but is just being lazy. She's not eating much either because her teeth hurt. I'm just dreading getting Emma's cold, because I know I will. Probably just in time for WDW. 27 days!!

Go ahead and get Emma's cold NOW and get it over with before you head to WDW!!

Good evening DznyFan and lyzziesmom!!

The boards are still very slow for me tonight!!

/
My goodness! the boards were just fine for me a little bit ago, and now they're running really slow again.

Here's a pic of the birthday cake - sorry it's kind of a cruddy pic.

DznyFan -- that cake is AWESOME!!!!!

Well, the boards are still very slow for me.

I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend. For some....I'm sure that the weekend will NOT end tonight. I would venture to guess some will have tomorrow and Tuesday off as well.

Me....I have to work tomorrow, then I am off Tuesday.

But....I'd be willing to bet the place I work will send everyone home early.

The past 3 days have been fantastic!!!

Did I run everyone off???

Come back!!!

Hi everyone!

The Dis is way too slow tonight.

Welcome back Lin! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Dznyfan- Cute cake!

Pozey- I'm glad the past few days have been good for you!

Lyzziesmom- I hope the girls get better!

YM- I love the pics!

Plans for NYE- After I get off work, Steven and I are going to Austin to his friends party.

Well...seems like the boards are either faster or very slow. Right now I'm zipping along pretty good.:car:

Hi Lin...welcome home. I think we were both at MGM on Sunday? This trip was the first time I had ever seen the Osborne lights. Wow, I could have sat there all night and watched them. They were fantastic and the "dancing" lights were so cool...plus the snow! We also loved the CP at Epcot. All I could say was WOW. The chorus was amazing. The boys did get a little 'bored' but DH and I were glued to our seats! I rode on Test Track with a 'boy' that sang in the 6:45 show that we saw. I told him it was great! So glad that you and Chris had a great trip.:woohoo:

Pozey...once again...so glad you had a fantastic weekend. :thumbsup2

lyzziesmom...I know it's a drag having sick kids. DS that was sick before we left is now having a relapse and my youngest is all congested now too. My youngest will probably get an ear infection as always when he gets congested. I'm just thankful that it's been over a year since his last infection. Hopefully since I'm expecting one it won't happen? I sure hope both Emma and Lyzzie feel better soon. :flower3: :flower3:

Nicole enjoy your trip to Austin...sounds like fun.:rockband: party:

Hey Donna...we are having my nephew over. I envited my sister and her DH over for pizza. We haven't exchanged gifts with them yet. Her DH isn't feeling well so I'm not sure if they will make it. I bought a big package of those indoor poppers...we will probably get a buzz off the sulfer...or whatever that smell is.:lmao:

DznyFan...oh, I love the cake. How did they do that...and who did it?

I got a new rug for my den this weekend at Target. It looks great with our new leather furniture. I just need some decorative 'stuff' for the coffe, sofa, and end talbes. Dh has been working overtime and I've been trying to spend it all.:rolleyes1 Hi Hismajesty!

Good evening everyone!!! I just finished doing a super-duper catch-up of all the goings on of the last week. You guys have all been busy and it sounds like everyone had a pretty great holiday!

Lets see what I can remember...
Lyzziesmom, so sorry about the ordeal with Lyzzies dad, he sounds like a jerk. At least she has an awesome mom to be there for her when she gets let down!!!!!

Nicole, I thought that was you! But, I also thought your number was in my phone, and it wasn't! I'm sorry, I would have texted you back if I had been sure. I tried to text you later in the trip and thats when I figured out that I did not have your number in my phonebook. But, here is what I was going to text you.
Funny things you overhear at WDW. "No, thats a picture of what Disney World used to be; Disneyland doesn't have a castle. This was said by a mother to her kid at 50's PrimeTime. The clip of Walt's dedication speech for DL came on and the little girl said something about it being Disneyland...and mom just had to correct her! I spit coke out of my mouth....
That guy you had to deal with was a jerk! I used to have to deal with that, but another manager at a New Orleans store tipped me off...She told me that when I talk to them on the phone to politely tell them I will check my security footage from that day to verify that the items were left behind, then ask for the time and date of the transaction. 9 times out of 10 they suddenly remembered what happened to their stuff. Hehehe

Dznyfan, that picture of Erin is so gorgeous! I'm glad your dad liked his book!

Pozey, an iPhone! I'm a bit afraid of those, so many buttons! I hope Chase had a wonderful birthday.

YM, for some reason I didn't realize we were going to be there at the same time...I thought that you left the same day we got there, and I have no idea why I thought that! I bet we were all walking the Osborne lights that night at the same time!!!!!!

Well, our trip was great and I plan to write a trip report this week while I am off work. But, for Christmas Chris and I put together a website for my mom's floral and wedding business and I am trying to help her get things off the ground. My mom is a great wedding consultant and florist, but she doesn't take the steps she needs to to actually become certified and known; she just thinks that things will fall into her lap without her doing much, so I am planning on spending at least the next few days trying to push her into realizing that she might actually have to spend money to become a planner... If you want to check out her website it is www.everafterblooms.com but the contact section doesn't work yet...

DznyFan: Gorgeous cake! I think it came out really nice.
I think your plan is working. I feel like I'm getting the crud Emma has. I just hope I skip the ear infection and vomiting parts. The rest I can deal with, even at work.

Speaking of work, I have the next 2 days off. My house is still a wreck and I have all this time but no motivation to clean it up whatsoever, how sad is that?

Lin: Welcome home!! We missed all of our vacation-ears. Sounds like you had a great time & I can't wait to see some of your pics too.

YM: Hope the boys don't feel too bad. Traveling is always tough on the ol' immune system.

Well it's late & I'm nodding off so I'd better hit the hay. I can hear Emma coughing and I'm afraid she'll wake up right as I'm going to sleep, or that she'll puke on herself again. She was good this morning though and remembered me telling her it's easier to clean the floor than change her sheets. I even had her practice leaning over the side of her bed. Am I a bad mom for not wanting to wash pukey sheets?

Good morning, Crew!!!

Welcome back, Lin!! Can't wait to hear about your trip and see all your pictures!! That's awesome that you are going to help your mom with her business!! Please write a trippie when you can!!:woohoo:

YourMajesty:: I'm so sorry the boys are getting sick again. Hopefully the ear infections will never materialize!!
Nathan loves those indoor popper things!! I may have to run to the store to buy some for tonight; assuming I'll still be awake at midnight.:cloud9:
Woo-Hoo for your new rug and furniture!! If you need help spending your hubby's $$$$, just give me a call!! Hi, HisMajesty!!:wave2::blush:

DznyFan:: WOW!!! Erin's cake was awesome!!

pozey:: Have fun at work today. I have to work today too. Gary had to go into work today so Nathan has to go to work with me. My niece called last night to make sure Nathan brought his PS2 games and extra controller to work.... I think they have their day planned out.

2x2s:: Where have you been, girlie? I've missed you around here. Hope everything is ok.

lyzziesmom:: Nathan was so sick one time that I had him carry a plastic bowl around with him.:rolleyes1
I hope Emma had a more restful night than you anticipated.

Nicole:: Be careful driving this evening! Your plans sound like fun; I'm sure you'll have a blast!!

Linda:: Have you had a busy weekend? I'll bet you've been busy downloading and sorting out your pics!
Tell Kenny that Nathan says "Hi!".:goodvibes

Lesa:: I suppose you are home by now? I hope you had good driving weather coming home. Check in when you get a chance!!:surfweb:

The boards were running slow for me last night. I tried to check in, but the page took forever to load. I'm not getting my email notices either. Let me see, what else can I whine about??

I do believe it's time for breakfast. Those of you that get to sleep in today can just warm it up when you get the chance.:snooty: ;)
How about a breakfast skillet from Ohana? I never realized this was offered. :confused3 Thanks JWfla422 for supplying the pic.:goodvibes

I hop you all have a Wonderful New Year's Eve!!party: party:

Thanks for breakfast this morning Donna!!!

Good morning, crew!

Donna that looks wonderful! yummmmm.....

YM - the cake was done at Reasors. It is one of the photo cakes. I tweaked the photo in photoshop some before I printed it and took it in. they scan the photo and print it on an edible material.
Isn't the CP just amazing? I just love it! Who was your narrator? I can't recall all whom we've seen do it, but we've seen Heather Headley, Robert Urich and Jim Caviezel. We were supposed to see Gary Sinise 2 winters ago, but he cancelled. That's who I'd really like to see.

Pozey - did I notice something new about your signature????? :teeth: I'm one of the ones at work today. woo. hoo. Maybe they'll let us cut out of here a couple hours early.

:wave2: Hi, everybody!!
