Hey everyone!!

A week from today at this time I'll be in Florida!! I must be nuts because I just booked a new flight on Jetblue (my favorite airline). I was dreading flying on Southwest and switching flights, and I was worried about my luggage with the layovers. Plus I love the fact that I can have assigned seats. Since we have to pack our formal wear and there are Christmas presents to be packed too I don't want anything lost! So I looked on Jetblue and they had flights for $99 each! That's a great price so close to Christmas IMO. So I just booked it! So we'll be getting into Florida earlier and leaving here later! How does this make sense?

I also heard back from Best Buy. They want to refund the restocking fee. I'm happy with this (although I think it should be more!) but I emphasized that I didn't contact them for a refund of the stocking fee- I contacted them because of the horrible customer service that I experienced in their store. Usually people complain because they are looking for money but I was just really annoyed at how I was treated

Anyway! I see things are getting pretty rowdy around here! I'll take a couple shots myself if you guys don't mind!!!

Looks like I missed a party last night. Mike bought The Bourne Ultimatium so we watched that. I really liked it (I love action movies).


Ashley, yeah for getting the restocking fee back. Hopefully, they will work on customer service.

Lin, the tour sounds great. I read about it before and it sounded cool, but I never got around to booking it.

When I told Chris about the tour he got all excited and called and booked it. So, we are ending our vacation with the Yuletide tour the day we leave, 9-12:30 in the AM. The minimum age on the tour is 16 though, I thought that was a little odd. I'm so excited!

We need to figure out when to meet! I talked to Chris and I think we are keeping our Rose and Crown reservation for Candlelight, but I don't remember which Candlelight we are going to. I'll let you know as soon as I can find it...me and Microsoft Excel have issues with each other.

Kenny is going to be a CGI artist or an Imagineer....I just know it! Crazy kid!

yay for booking your tour! that is awesome! Kenny was telling my mom that the first ride he's riding is EE b/c he's tall enough now...so, I guess we're going there first I can't wait!! I think you were going to the next to last CP if I remember correctly. That would be SO awesome if Kenny worked for Disney!! I could see that for sure I'll pm you my cell!

Linda:: Oh that Kenny is a hoot!! I had to tell Gary and Nathan about his 1st grade journal!!! I can't wait to see him again. Nathan said it would be cool to ride the rides with another kid; poor guy always gets stuck with Gary and I!!
A copy of the special would be super. By having Shrek, did you mean the Christmas special? That show was so cute!!!

wasn't that too funny!! Yeah, I'm the same way w/Kenny...always has to ride w/me. I enjoy it, but I feel like he misses out sometimes...but we'll have a blast!! I have a copy for you It has the Samantha Brown special, the Shrek Christmas special w/disney music at the end...

We had quite a bit of tree damage, but nothing other than that. Nothing fell on the house or the fence or anything like that.

I think I'm gonna go sit on the couch and watch TV with Courtney. She won't go to sleep......but if I go sit by her, she'll be out in less than 5 minutes.

Lin: Congrats on booking the tour, it sounds like fun! Most of the tours have a minimum age of 16, a few of them are as low as 10. Drives me nuts because I know Lyzzie would love many of them, but she is not old enough. I think they don't want people lugging their kids around on a tour that would potentially be boring for them. I can understand age restrictions on things like the Segway tour and the full-day tours, but some of them seem so random. Lyzzie is a big fan not only of the Disney experience, but of Walt Disney. She loves the One Man's Dream exhibit at MGM and can spend hours in there. She would really enjoy some of the more informative tours and seeing the backstage areas, but I guess we'll have to wait. Next year she'll be 10 so maybe we can do one or two soon! In the meantime the only one we can do is the Family Magic Tour -- very fun but we've already done it. I'm thinking of booking it again though, because Emma doesn't remember and it IS a little different every time. You'll have to report back to us about the Yuletide Tour, it sounds very interesting!! Wish I could go!

OK.... now you all have me curious about McD's Eggnog Shakes. I may have to accidentally order one soon.

We went to McD's for dinner last night, and wouldn't you know it the one we went to didn't have eggnog shakes?! I was so disappointed. Emma said, "That's ok, we'll just have to try another McDonald's tomorrow."

Ashley: That's pretty good that Best Buy will send you the refund. I know it's not what you were looking for, but at least it shows *some* effort on their part. I hope the store manager got reprimanded as well! Congrats on booking your new flight, that IS a good deal! Please refresh my swisscheese memory -- How much longer until you go?

The kids play different parts each time, I guess there are no lines, they just dress up in costumes and stand around while the teacher narrates? Emma said she's going to ask if she can be the angel, and if she can't then she wants to be one of the Wisemans.

Emma's Nativity play was adorable! She was the innkeeper. The teacher read the Nativity story from a book, and walked the kids around where they were supposed to go. She tried to encourage them to talk but none of them did. When it was Emma's part, my mom said, "Did she say anything?" I answered, "No, but she stuck her finger up her nose." I may have even gotten a picture of it - hard to tell with Mom's camera, the thing has a shutter lag of about 3 seconds. We had lunch after at Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. Emma was SO excited to see me that she kept jumping around and hardly ate. Normally that would bug me, but I'm still just happy to see her feeling better.

That was weird. A lady just called here at work wanting a magazine subscription for next year, but she said "I'd like a subprescription for two zero zero eight." Who says that?!

Greetings to all my cliqueless pals! It looks like I missed quite the party last night! And on a Wednesday night! How are ya'll's heads this morning???? Shhhh.... I'll try to be a little quieter...

Life is beginning to resume to some sense of normalcy as of this morning, but we're still WAY away from normal. I still have one building down completely, and about 40 unhappy tenants. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's high on the restoration list because there are only three buildings affected in this spot. It'll probably be some time next week, and the natives are restless.
And dang it, silly me!! I keep forgetting my crystal ball and my magic wand!! We were restored some time during the night, as we had power this morning when we swung by for me to pick up my car to go to work. We've been making a LONG commute (but not as long as Linda's!!) every day. About an hour and a half from house to my work. Of an all-time high on Tuesdsay of 246,000 homes/businesses in the Tulsa area without power, we are down to a measly 157,000 as of 10:00 this morning.

Lyzziesmom, I so hope you have some photos of Emma's Christmas program that you can post for us!! It appears that you guys got a serious coating of ice up there as well!
