Shannon- $95 for pasta! For Christmas 2 years ago, Steven's sister spent $100 on a roast! Of course she went to the most expensive grocery store in Houston! It's pretty warm over here too, I wish it would get a little colder.

Lyzziesmom- $65 is alot for spaghetti too! That's gross that he would put cinnamon in the sauce.

Linda- I'm so excited for you!!!! Your trip is almost here!!!

$100 on a roast I'd hate to spend that much on ONE thing like that. I'd be too scared somehow it would get burnt or something silly and that would literally be up in smoke

Really quick - Hi, everybody!!!

We just now got phones and internet back up here at our building. I need to back and read through, but I saw Pozey's pics. I was wondering how you guys and the Englers were faring out there with all those big trees. Our neighborhood is destroyed. We finally lost power at about 5 yesterday after being one of the last. Most if it is underground, but apparently we lost some kind of feeder line in.

Lyzziesmom - I did catch that you had to take miss Emma into the urgent care - I'm so sorry! What a cutie though - she is SO funny!!! Pixie dust to her to get better soon!!!

If we're down tonight I think we're going to the lake. no ice down there and we have heat, cooking devices that work, and . (me dancin' in the shower...) I will try to catch up in a bit and post some neighborhood photos.

Noooooooo!!!!!! I just got a postcard with a great rate that I could use for when we go in Jan, BUT...... it's in my cousins name!!!!!! And of course it is nontransferable. My sister, cousin and I went in June 2005, so I guess thats how they got her name, but I do remember last year telling CRO to erase her name from my phone number! I wonder if I called them and explained my situation if they would allow me to use it. I would ask the codes and rates board, but frankly they kind of scare me!

this was a tree in the 'newer' section of our neighborhood. I just thought it was cool.

Back in the day, we used to live in this house and planted this river birch about 13 years ago.

all left standing was that one little tree.

this is the giant willow in our neighbor's yard. The driveway in the lower left is our driveway. We have a little tree underneath it somewhere.

HELLO OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The play is over!!!!! It turned out way better than I thought it would, and it was beautiful, we got so many incredible compliments. I have tons of pictures at work, and will post a link to them as soon as I get them uploaded.

I have my test next Monday (which I should be studying for right now) and then leave for Disney next Friday! I can't wait!

I have not had time to catch up, and I doubt I will, but Donna when are you going to be there?

My mom's boss was asked once if he was going to take his family to see The Lion King when it was here in town. His reply was, "oh no, we saw it at Animal Kingdom at Disney."

I got a kick out of reading the Playbill before the show. The actor who played Mufasa had played Kiume (sp?) at the Festival of the Lion King at AK

Actually a lot of the actors had experience at Disney World.

It probably depends on what dairies your store carries. I think the milk nog is made by Anderson Erikson? Not every store has it, and it usually sells pretty quick. Great, now I want some and we are all out. Phooey.
