YM: Sounds like your DS has what's been going on around our house. We've been feeling cruddy. Not really too sick, just kind of "off." This morning it was a gamble as to whether my breakfast would be making a return appearance.

Emma went to the dr. today. She had these two small spots on her back that I at first assumed were dog scratches, but they got bigger instead of smaller over the weekend, then last night I noticed a couple more on her belly and a bunch around her shoulder. It's not chicken pox or flea bites, and it took a dr visit to find out she has "an unspecified rash." Thank goodness for insurance! My mom also finally got the dr. to realize that Emma's other "problem" is not normal constipation (last time's advice: give her water. Time before that? Give her prunes.) and got a prescription for that. So... looks like we'll be spending the evening at the pharmacy!

So that has been my exciting day so far. I can definitely tell it's a Monday - it's one thing after another around here at work today!

I think I need to start planning for WDW!

Nicole, I'm glad everyone liked the Pretzel Salad! I don't understand how Jeremiah can't like it.. He's just a weirdo!

You know, I have to confess I saw the same thing. I just chalked it up to maybe he's got some kind of weird fish fetish or something, or perhaps thought that it would impress YM if he were kissing fish at her feet.
Not that I would be judgemental or anything if it were a fish fetish, I mean, to each his own, know what I mean? Just remind me not to order fish next time we get together for lunch.

Nobody's sick around our house yet, I just wish I wasn't getting these stupid headaches EVERY SINGLE DAY - and I haven't had headache issues in a few years. Either I wake up with it or it develops through the day. Over a week now, and I'm so tired of it. It's probably a tumor and I'm gonna keel over suddenly one of these days.

Thanks to YM and my Mom, I just sent Jeremiah to buy the ingredients for fudge...

I'm freaking out right now because I'm reading about some electrical and AC problems regarding my cruise. I tried to call my Grandma since she is a travel agent and thought she may be able to get some more info than if I just called, but of course she isn't answering her phone. I even read rumors that it could be dry docked and the cruise would be canceled...I hope the problems are fixed by December 20!

Also, I just got a bill from my dentist- I went there in October- my insurance isn't paying them either! Why would they deny a claim for a cleaning? I don't get it. It is so aggravating. I have 2 office visits to my primary care doc they haven't paid for- 2 visits to the neurologist, and now this. My Mom said they might be a scam. But how can Blue Cross & Blue Shield be scamming me? And why?? I thought they may be denying my other claims because they thought it was a 'pre exisiting condition' (Even though it is NOT), but to deny a visit to the dentist for a cleaning- which doesn't require any wait periods etc- does not make any sense. It aggravates me, because the money I pay them every month could just go towards my bills at these doctors- but then I wouldn't get coverage on my medications, and a new insurance company WOULD consider those a pre-existing condition for 1 year. Sorry, I'm just venting. Jeremiah is going to call the company tomorrow, but that doesn't really help anything it seems to me.

Big Brother 9 is starting in February- I have no idea why they chose that month, its normally on in the summer but I'm happy about it!

His work got insurance cancelled. I hope you get things worked out, I know it can be frustrating. One word of advice that I learned the hard way, keep record of everything. Every visit, every treatment, every person you talk to. We had a problem of the Drs and hospital charging for things that weren't done or putting wrong codes in and the ins would deny it. It took over a year to get it all straightened out, and I had to be very careful and check everything. I won't even tell you how many hours I spent on the phone with the ins. co getting it all straightened out and paid.

Tell Ruby Santa is watching and making a list. Grace is going to be on the naughty list if she steals food off the counter one more time.

Ashley: I hope you get your insurance problems straightened out. My gosh, have they ever paid for anything? Are you sure it's BCBS and not some rinky-dink company using their name? I have BCBS and I've never had any problems with them (knock on wood) other than the dr's office spelling my name wrong so it didn't match with insurance records - they just resubmitted and it was fine. I have to say, you and Lesa both have much more patience than I do. When they start billing me for stuff they didn't do, I just toss the bills in the trash and hope they go away. Dumb, I know. Are they giving you valid reasons as to why the claims are being denied? It just all sounds so odd.

Lesa: We watched that too, and then The Year Without a Santa Claus. I love all those old ones, the cheesier the better! I always loved Rudolph & Frosty's Christmas in July. Why? I have no idea, but I'm very glad for abc family channel this time of year. I'm also a sucker for all the sappy Christmas made-for-tv movies.
