Hey guys,

I had a sleepless night. We are staying at my parents and Chris and I were crammed into my sisters old waterbed, bigger than a twin but smaller than a full. I could not fall asleep and then, just as I was drifting off, Chris did another talking in his sleep thing and started pulling my hair! It made me laugh and made me angry at the same time. Anyway, it was too crowded so I went downstairs to sleep on my parents couch, which is super comfortable. It was fine, until one of mom's dogs started barking every 20 minutes keeping me up. By the time I got up this morning I felt like the walking dead. We made it to Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond and the mall, but I found nothing to buy except a little Bath and Body Works set for our angel program at school and an anniversary card for Chris.

I just got home and am going to take short nap before heading out to Val's house for her lighting!

Hello everyone!


I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mike and I stayed home. He cooked and one of my brothers came over.

I had to work today, but I came home early. A friend of ours came up for a little while and brought us a ton of baby stuff! I have to go through everything.

This evening, we had our 4D ultrasound! It was so awesome. He did keep his hand by his face, so we don't have a full face shot. We want to try and go back and see if we can get better shots. From what we can see, it looks like he has my nose.

Amber: Those ultrasound photos are amazing! It really gives new meaning to "baby's first picture."

We headed out to the stores late this afternoon. I didn't really want to, but I was out of trash bags. We went to Border's where Lyzzie used up the rest of a gift card she's had since her birthday last year. She got a magic set and a science experiment kit and spent the evening "wowing" me with a magic trick, repeatedly. Fun times! Then we headed to Best Buy because I heard they had a good deal on a DS but of course they were out of the bundle pack, and just had the regular-price system. Finally it was off to Target, who was also out of the DS bundle pack. If I had known they were giving away a gift card with purchase, I might have tried to get up a bit earlier. Oh well. I think I'm going to try Gamestop for a used DS, maybe during a lunch hour one of these days. If I can't find a good price on one, there are a ton of other things Lyzzie wants that don't cost over $100. (And many that do!)

nah, nothing exciting around here. Finally got my tree lit... I swear that thing is like a rubicks cube - an impossible puzzle I have to figure out every time. got my marble slab trip in... although I have to admit I think I like cold stones selections better. but dark chocolate ice cream and cheesecake ice cream together are really good.

Good morning, Crew!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine turned out pretty good, despite the problems from Wednesday night. Mom is already talking about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner.

I made it to Walmart at about 6:40am yesterday morning, but the $30 sound video chair I wanted for Nathan had already sold out. I did buy the family a 42" flat panel HDTV for the living room; Gary had been complaining that our other one was too small. Our old one is now in Nathan's room; along with my nice corner tv cabinet. Oh well.....Merry Christmas to us!!


Michele:: The pictures of Lilly with Santa were soooo adorable!! She has the most wonderful eyes and her expressions tells it all!! I can't remember if Nathan was 2 or 3 before I finally persuaded him to get his picture taken with Santa. He was scared of him for a couple of years.


lyzziesmom:: Good luck on the DS hunt!! I saw some sort of pack at Walmart yesterday am for $149; was that a good price?
Woo-Hoo for getting to sleep in!!


Amber:: WOW!! The pictures of Spencer were so clear!! Technology sure has come a long way in the last 9 years! You can see his little features so vividly!! I'm thinking all his honorary aunts are getting excited for March to get here!!!

I spent yesterday at the scrapbooking store. They had an all day crop. I was there from 10am to 11pm!!! That's right 13 hours of scrapbooking!! I had a ball. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner. PLUS just when I was complaining that my back was starting to hurt from sitting that long....they brought in a girl to do chair massages!! The first 5 minutes were free, then it was $1 a minute!! I had a 15 minute massage and was good to go for the rest of the night.

Now we are getting ready to go to Matt's basketball scrimmage.

I survived working Black Friday! It wasn't really that bad at all. Sometimes there were no people in the store at all! I did get a headache from smelling candles all day though. Steven sniffed my arm and said I smelled like candles. At least I smelled good!

I survived working Black Friday! It wasn't really that bad at all. Sometimes there were no people in the store at all! I did get a headache from smelling candles all day though. Steven sniffed my arm and said I smelled like candles. At least I smelled good!

Michele: Wow, an all day crop, how fun! I've never tried one of those - what do you need to bring? What do they supply for you to use? I have so much stuff, I don't really see the point of hauling it all around just to do the same stuff I could do at home. I mean, I have two floor-to-ceiling cabinets plus a file drawer FULL of supplies! I wouldn't know where to begin! Sounds like you had a great day. I could use a chair massage pretty much any time, what a nice touch!

Nicole: Glad you survived working on Black Friday! There's worse things you could smell like than candles. One of my ex-BF's worked in a deli as a prep cook - man he smelled BAD after work!

Howdy to my Okie friends! DS and DH went to Braum's last night. They actully just bought some vanilla so they could make milkshakes. We have a Maggie Moo's up here. Where is the marble slab? Is cold stone the one in the mall? Just trying to stay up with the local stuff.

DznyFan...I want ot retire our artificial tree after this year and maybe go back to a live tree. The live trees are messy but they sure smell good.

Pozey...maybe after swimming and the cold weather the cookies sounded better to the boys!

Hi lyzziemsom...my sister and I looked at the DS for my neice. We were actually just looking for a regular gameboy advance but it looks like they are phasing those out. Good luck finding one...mabye you could still get a raincheck...if the sale is good through today?

Anyone remember the movie Mystic Pizza? It's on tv...can you guys I'm having a productive day?

I managed to get out my Christmas dishes and put the plain ones away for a few weeks. Gary brought up the tree box from the basement; all ready for me to put together and decorate!!

I wonder if Target would give me a raincheck? Since it's a 50 mi. drive to our nearest one, I'll probabably just look for one for full price.

Hey Donna...I hope they honor my rain check...I think they were about $32 on sale. I have to buy two. I certainly can understand not driving an hour to get a rain check. I didn't want to drive 20 miutes to save $50 on the trampoline I bought...I know...lazy of me. I will almost make up for that if I get the vidoe chairs on sale!

We used to have a couple of Maggie Moos around here but they closed down. I thought they were all going out of business, I guess just around here. Figures, I had just discovered them and liked it and then they all closed! Cold Stone is just as good - even better, because they keep sending me coupons! If you go to their website and sign up for their birthday club, they email you a coupon for a free large ice cream about 2 weeks before your bday. You can sign up 5 people. I signed up the 3 of us, plus my mom and one of the cats. One of their larges is enough for me and both kids!

Drat, the kids expect to be fed. Must run.
