its good to hear that 2x is having a great time...the weather here is gorgeous too...dh just got home from work and said "its 68 degrees out! Im turning off the a.c!" hope you all up in the cooler weather are keeping warm! I had a fun day, finally got a hair cut (its been since February) and a makeover at Chanel to try out the new fall colors...I bought the lip gloss only, their stuff is so expensive! but they did give me a goodie bag. hope everyone is having a great weekend, I didnt spend much time online so I am still way behind!

Shannon I'm with you, I like the light later at night, not morning! It makes it harder to sleep in!!! Your makeover sounds like fun! Isn't it amazing how much makeup can cost?! How's our miss Ashley? She hasn't checked in in a while. I hope she is getting her meds regulated, that can be a pain especially with that kind of medicine.

Donna have fun at the slot car show! Is that for BoyS? I do hope I get my popcorn! I tell you this house was amazing! They had a giant black bear in their living room. I said I didn't know of many houses that had a place for one of those and it would look good, well it fit here, and looked good! Maddie is still talking about the indoor pool! Oh and I should add it's one that you can swim in one place as the water moves by you! Pozey you need one of these n your house for the kids!


Well time to get ready for the competition it's about an hour away!

Lesa...good luck at your competition. I was surprised that they have cheer competiton on Sunday morning? Is Maddie about over the worst of her flare. I know the coughing always lingers. DS has a cough for most of the fall.

I've had an interesting day. The flu shot clinic went well for a work day! Around 10ish I got a surprise call on my cell phone from a certain DISer that just happens to be at WDW! Can you believe that. I mean I'm sitting at a mandatory flu shot clinic and I get a call from 2x2s in WDW who just happened to tell me was having a wonderful time and that the weather was beautiful!

What made my day really great was when a mom and daughter walked up to my table to have their paperwork checked. I'm thinking these people look familar but in a picture sort of way. I look down at my paperwork and promptly jumped up to give DznyFan a big ole hug! I was so excited to see her face to face. Her daughter is beautiful! Just like her pics! It was very exciting.

That is cool too!!! Dznyfan, you're just meeting everyone this weekend, aren't you? I'm glad 2X is having fun!

Shannon: That makeover sounds fun. I've never done one of those, do you need an appointment or do you just walk up to the department store counter and ask for a makeover? I used to have a friend in FL who worked at the Lancome counter and she said she got tired of making over all the old ladies (most of the Lancome customers were old). Then she got a job for Smashbox cosmetics and liked it much better. She was pretty bad at the makeovers though, everyone came out looking the same -- like bad 80s hair band groupies!

Mine woke me up around the same time telling me she pooped her pants. Guess which one? Then she followed me into the bathroom and said, "Why are you going potty with your eyes closed?" Um... because I'm still asleep!

pozey, did you go to your rendezvous? Do tell!

We went to PetCo and got something called "Cat & Kitten Repellant" -- you spray it on wherever you don't want the cat to go. I hope it works! The cashier said they sell a lot of it. If that doesn't work, Dusty gets to be an outdoor cat when we're not home. She's always been an indoor/outdoor cat and she never wanders far, but we have big dogs next door. I took her out for a few minutes yesterday to get her used to our yard and she howled miserably at the door until I let her back in.

Then we headed to Sam's and had lunch and picked up a few things. I can't believe how much Xmas stuff is out already!! We already finished a jug of eggnog (my favorite!) that we bought on Friday. Today I found (my other favorite) peppermint ice cream! I'm going to have to hit the treadmill pretty hard. Why is it that a quick run to Sam's always ends with a huge hole in my bank account?

It's beautiful here as well. We were outside earlier. I washed my Tahoe while the kids rode their bikes.

We've been back from St. Louis for about 1/2 an hour. I'm really kind of tired.
After the slot car show we drove to St.Louis Mills Mall so Nathan could go to the Speedpark. We ate at Chevy's. It was OK; I don't think I was in a Mexican mood.


Lesa:: A bear in the living room??!! Sounds like they lived at the Wilderness Lodge!!
I can't wait to hear about the competition.
