Thanks! Tomorrow's competition is not like the last. Not all the teams go home with a trophy! They are both going up against some really tough teams, so I'm sure I will be bringing home some crying girls, at least the older one! Her team could have been good if not for a select few! I actually prefer this kind of competition because I think it is good for them not to always "win". It can be heartbreaking, but good for them!

Dont' I wish I could nap today! Got to take the girl for a flu shot, going to some friends' place to deliver their DCL cruise documents as they leave for Disney next Friday, then supposed to go out and have dinner & drinks with them and another friend. Jam packed day of excitement for me!!

Geez, I don't post for a few hours and you guys make me slog through TEN PAGES!! j/k.. I love catching up on everyone's doings.

I woke up with my back hurting horribly. I've been trying to cut back down on my meds and thought I was doing ok yesterday but I guess it caught up to me, even lying down hurt!

Emma was begging me to play outside all morning, I finally let her once it got above 40. It quickly warmed up and Lyzzie was out there in her jammies, no coat, but gloves, a scarf and earmuffs! What a goofball.

Sorry Nicole, cookie time isn't till spring. I don't know why they don't do it 2x a year, the people at DHs work are always asking when she is selling cookies.

Lyzzie's troop is selling cookies now, but they don't deliver them until January. That's a loooong time to have to wait! They don't sell them in the spring at all and don't do any of the nuts or candy, thank goodness! I don't buy the crap she sells either, it's just one thing after another between GS and school.

It's just me and Maddie tonight. I picked her up and we went to dinner at Red Robin. We shared a plate of chicken fingers and fries not exactly what I wanted for dinner!

Oh I love the chicken fingers at RR, I get them every time and share it with Emma. I've been wanting to go there for weeks, but I'm trying so hard to save money and not go out to eat unless the kids can eat for free.

I tried contacts for a year and gave up, they just did not work for me. I want Lasik too!

I got my first contacts at 14, it took a while to get used to them but I wanted them SO bad. I'd been wearing glasses since I was 7.

Mike called the cops and told them what happened and they agreed I didn't have to send him. he'd have to take me to court. I knew that...but makes ya feel better at least I know he's safe this weekend!

Glad you're keeping him safe at home this weekend, I'm sure he'll have a much better time!

So, I'm watching "What Not to Wear" and they are making her give up a really cute Mickey shirt! I'm mad for her! It's a cute top!

I saw that one too! I was getting really mad the way they kept making fun of her and telling her she was too old for Mickey and needed to grow up. Sheesh, I love that show but sometimes they're so irritating. They expect everyone to wear expensive, perfect outfits ALL the time! Like I'm going to dress up to go shop at Home Depot, yeah right.

Do you guys watch Ugly Betty? Wicked was on it last night.

I do, but I'm SO far behind I've only watched one show from this season so far and I missed a bunch at the end of last season. I had them on my DVR but lost them when my cable company updated their software (and the new one stinks!). I need to have a Bettyathon and get caught up!

Hope all my cliqueless friends are having a good Saturday!

I've had an interesting day. The flu shot clinic went well for a work day! Around 10ish I got a surprise call on my cell phone from a certain DISer that just happens to be at WDW! Can you believe that. I mean I'm sitting at a mandatory flu shot clinic and I get a call from 2x2s in WDW who just happened to tell me was having a wonderful time and that the weather was beautiful!

What made my day really great was when a mom and daughter walked up to my table to have their paperwork checked. I'm thinking these people look familar but in a picture sort of way. I look down at my paperwork and promptly jumped up to give DznyFan a big ole hug! I was so excited to see her face to face. Her daughter is beautiful! Just like her pics! It was very exciting.

Boy...I had a heck of a time getting rid of that headache yesterday. With enough caffiene and a couple of pills I was able to play cards last night. My friend made delicious steaks! The bad part was my stomach starting hurting. When it rains it pours. I'm just pooped out right now.

DS lost his football game in a heartbreaking last minute touchdown. DH said it was so sad. The good news is that DS scored his first touchdown of the season and a second extra point. I was jumping up and down for him but very sad I missed it. All in all life is life...some ups and some downs.

I just got back from taking Nathan to deliver his popcorn. I tried some kettle corn last night and it was pretty yummy!! Wouldn't want it all the time though.

I think I'm all tucked in the house for the night. Gary is taking his mom grocery shopping and Nathan is out riding his 4-wheeler.

I have some wine in the fridge I've been saving for a special occasion.

Really, though - I had looked at shot clinic info and found we couldn't go to the 'other' one - she wasn't of age. Since I had to deliver some friends their cruise docs, this clinic was on our way there - literally, we had to drive right past it on our way - so I decided to stop there. I hand this lovely lady the paperwork, she glances at it, then with a big smile she shows me her ID. I think I squealed like a little girl! And yes, hugs! It just figured I pick a day to forgo the blow drying of the hair and makeup...... It was lovely to meet you, Your Majesty.

And congrats again to DS for his touchdown! Way to go!

Well, Chris and I just got home from a hectic day up at the theatre. Of course now that most of the stuff is constructed people are showing up to help and I don't have enough leaders to send them around too. I am getting so annoyed!

We are meeting Chris's brother and his wife, plus a couple of my old TDS friends from Lubbock for diner. They want to meet at 7...um, its 6:30 and I'm sitting here in a towel...I wanted to meet at 8 and am in noooo hurry to get there. Frankly, if I didn't need a drink I wouldn't be going!

I can't believe I couldn't find anywhere to go today in Petie! My back is feeling a little bit better, but the tradeoff is that I'm in no shape to drive. Ah well, it's well worth it to not be in so much pain.

Emma's begging for her Dora game on the computer, so I'd better let her play so I can have some peace of mind.

Good evening! I am just getting back from Maddie's hair party (where we put all the girls hair up for tomorrow). We had it at the most beautiful house I think I have ever been in! Maddie and the other girls were in their glory because in the basement was a pool. They didn't get to go swimming because we were doing their hair, but they did get to practice their gymnastics on the balance beam and bars! The basement was a whole rec center and kitchen in one! The mother that hosted it is the nicest person you'd ever meet. She had our party going on as well as her son's football party. So imagine 17 girls and about 20 boys running around! She was just so calm and pleasant about everything, while all us parents are threatening our kids lives if they touch anything!

Britt got smacked in the eye at her practice today. The coach told her she was done, and made her sit for the rest of the practice. She told her she didn't want me to hunt her down! I called Britt and she was fine, she said it was more a poke in the eye. She did get the permanent spirit stick for her team spirit continuing on going to practices and supporting her team even through she couldn't actually practice or cheer. That made her feel pretty good! I'm glad her effort was noticed!

YM...That's so great your DS made his first touchdown! Sorry you had to miss it! That is so cool you and Dznyfan got to meet! I bet you both were excited!

Dznyfan...I took my own advice and took a nap this afternoon for you! Actually Maddie was crabby and I told her to go lay down before we had to go. She said only if I lay down with her. Well I fell asleep and she went to play! How exciting you got to meet 2 of our crew!
