Geez...I'm still fgihting the headache. It's a cross between a sinus and migraine....although I rarely get migraine. I'm typing on the computer so that is a good sign. The light is bothering me some.

Amber...wow, I'm sorry to have to be at the hospital so early for blood work. It would be nice if you could get something later on a Saturday. That will be fun to work on the baby's room this weekend.

Linda...I'm so sorry about Kenny's dad and the social worker. I hope he does not come to get him this weekend. You almost have me convinced about the lasik! Sure would be nice to see...espeically at the water parks and pool!

DznyFan and Pozey...are you planning on running into each other at Reasors? You know I could plan some shopping there too...oh wait I shop in Owasso.

Lesa...sent you a pm. We just did our walk-a-thon and I promised the boys that I would get them to $100 worth of donations. I guess I thought they would get a little closer because this morning I ended up writing over $100 in checks. They both had right around $50.

Hi Miss Donna! If the boss lady could assign me to the "pit of depair" she would. This is actually a mandatory exercise for all emplyees. She would prefer us NOT to go because we get comp time.

Lyzziesmom - have you tried the drops - the natural tears? I wound up having to get them because of bad dry eyes. Not the prescription - the over the counter tears. It really helps with the moisture. I hate it when they get dry and all foggy.

So, I had to go to the store and get some kitty litter.... (really. I needed cat litter) and I ran into the nicest guy!! Hmmmm.... imagine that!?

I think I might look into the Lasik, just to see how good a candidate I am. I don't know if I'll actually do it or not. It would be kind of unnerving, I think, and I usually don't have a problem with things messing with my eyes.. but that's different!

I did call a truck rental place and they accept debit cards. So, Mike will probably be renting a truck for tomorrow. It's $150 deposit, $30 a day, and .35 cents a mile. Who knows what the final total will be. Mike is waiting to hear back and make sure it's ok to rent this. I am hoping they reimburse him ASAP for this, since it's our actual money, not a credit card.

Oh, and he just told me that his company still owes him $267 for stuff he had to buy (almost a month later).

DznyFan: I hope you get the eye dr. thing straightened out! I have horrible vision, without contacts or glasses I'm legally blind. I have a range of about an inch where I can see clearly without it being too close or too far, it really stinks. I'm a great candidate for lasik, if only insurance would cover it. I don't even have basic vision coverage. I'm always terrified that it's going to get too bad to wear contacts, because I can't see well with my glasses and they give me headaches. My biggest fear is losing my sight -- don't mess with my EYES!!

My mom's vision is not nearly as bad, but for some reason she's been having a heck of a time finding contacts that work for her. Her eye dr. keeps trying new things and she's been going every month or so for TWO YEARS, can you imagine? She's always word hard lenses and wanted to switch, but they seem to have messed up her eyes.

I tried contacts for a year and gave up, they just did not work for me. I want Lasik too!

the lady just called...she hasn't had time to visit his home yet, but did speak to him.

He said that they had ordered chinese earlier in the day and there was food from that in the fridge.... COME ON .... what 6 yr old do you know is going to go in someone elses house, just get in the fridge, get whatever they want, and put it in the microwave and eat

He's NOT going over there...I don't care! And he was with family all day.. Yeah..a 12 yr old that obviously wasn't capable! I was at 12...but definitely not her!!! She didn't mention the drinking and driving, the bathing issues...or anything else... but for now...he's not going, I don't care! His safety is much more important. I have to fill out a dumb booklet for Maddie's girl scout troop. It is for their fall sale which I don't do because people only really want the GS cookies, not nuts, candy, and magazines! I have to address the pages in the booklet and the GSs send them out for people to purchase magazines. Anyway, their troop gets $2 for every booklet that is turned in. I tried to donate $5 dollars and just be done with it, but Maddie won't get the patch. So know I have to finish filling the darn thing out by tonight. I've run out of addresses and still need like 5 more, would anyone be willing to PM me your address. Your not obligated to purchase anything, actually throw the darn thing out when it comes, to me their magazines are over priced.

You can send me one too if you want another 2 bucks. I don't mind.

My aunt had Lasik when it first came out, it didn't work the first time so she had to have it redone. Also there was a girl in one of my classes last semester that only had one eye done and the other eye was constantly red! It was creepy!

I'll come hold your hand! it's really not that bad! They said there is a chance that you might have a "retouch" in the future. That's fine. I was so blind that I'll take that chance, and if I have to have that done, ok no biggie!

All this talk about Lasik gives me the heeby jeebys! I watched it done on TV I don't advise watching it being done before you go and have it done DH really needs to get his eyes done. We have to see how much we have left in the reimbursement account in Dec.

yeah, I wouldn't watch it first my co-worker could have had it done that very week, but my eyes were so bad, it actually took two surgeries and over 6 months to finish. one eye was worse so they did surgery on that one first about 1/2 way to see how it did and let it heal good...then after about 6 months, they did both 100% and I've been loving it!!!! It is awesome!

I just finished catching up!! Nathan has ball practice at 4:30 but wanted to say "Hi"!!

Linda:: I hate to hear that Kenny has to go visit his dad this weekend. Maybe Kenny could have a slight fever and cough; that is going around you know.

Not much planned for me this weekend. We have to go pick up the Cub Scout popcorn this evening and deliver it tomorrow.
On Sunday Gary want to go to a slot car show/swap meet type thingy in St. Louis. It's held twice a year at the same place and we never miss it. I just like the eating and shopping afterwards.
Better go make sure Nathan has his stuff together for practice!!!

I called and told him not to get him. He showed up anyway and threatened to take me back to court. He was saying now he has plenty of $ and all this crap and Mike says, bring it on, you'll end up paying more in child support and have your visitation changed for sure! He peeled out of here, thought he was calling cops, but was his ex, the attorney so Mike called the cops and told them what happened and they agreed I didn't have to send him. he'd have to take me to court. I knew that...but makes ya feel better at least I know he's safe this weekend!

that is hilarious!!! Steve, the co worker beside me had a laptop on his lap, getting it ready to give one of our guys to do testing etc...and there popped up lots of XXX pics! I started busting out laughing and asked him if he needed to borrow a flash card so he could take those pics to his home pc

I know! Isn't that just crazy! Its like since he doesn't live there primarily, its not as big of a priority or something I don't know what to think.
