Hello, Mommyintn!! I've wondered about you!!! Talk to you later, perhaps!!

DznyFan:: Love the pics of your daughter!! What did tenage girls do before cell phones? I was one once, but I seem to have forgotten!!! :bitelip: She is very pretty, btw. How proud you must be of her!! Keeping her involved in the things she loves will only make for a happy adult as well. :thumbsup2

Mi Mom of 3::Wow!! Your DS does look like Zac Ephron!! When I saw the one pic I had to do a double-take!!

Must finish with dinner(actually, in DonnaLand it's supper!!) See ya later!!

Hey everyone!!

Dznyfan - I love the pics, reminds me of me when I was a teenager :lmao: It sounds like you have a wonderful daughter!

Lyzziesmom - I am so glad you got your candle back. You hardly ever hear of things like that happening. I have sprint too and when we lived up north our phones would always do that; give really late messages, now it doesn't seem to happen go figure

Mimom - Hope Matt gets better soon. :wizard:

Linda - Kenny looked soo cute on his first day of school, just like a big kid!

Well a pretty boring day here. I went to Marshalls to dig around and I didnt find anything. Oh well I didnt really need anything anyway.

TTFN ta ta for now

Well, actually it didn't happen. My mom went to pick it up for me, and they had no idea what she was talking about. Apparently the night shift and day shift do not communicate. And of course today it got too late to go, I had to get the rascals into bed!

I told Lyzzie's teacher tonight about our vacation and she said she won't even give Lyzzie any homework to do on the trip! She can tell she's bright enough that she won't miss much, and she'll just give Lyzzie what she needs to catch up when we get back. Lucky girl!

DznyFan, love the pictures! I can't believe I have all that to look forward to. Thank goodness they don't grow up overnight (even though it seems like it) because I'm definitely not ready for that!! I have been training Lyzzie that teenagers are "little snots" and she swears she won't be. Yeah right. She also swears she will never drink alcohol, say bad words or kiss a boy. I need to get that on tape to use against her in the future!! :lmao:

Since everyone is posting pictures of your cutie pie kids here is a picture of us (this was taken about a month ago for our church directory). :teeth:

Glad to hear your teacher meeting went well. We have to go to open house right after our Chicago trip.
Angela - what a great looking family you have! :)

Mommyintn::Your family picture is wonderful!!! Happy to *see* you!!! Very handsome young men, too!!

2xcited2slp:: Thanks a bunch for the website to Tony's!! I did stumble acrossed it a week or so ago. The cost would not be a problem, it's just the atmosphere may be a bit too formal for us!! Our anniversary is Oct. 17th.

I must tell a funny story about DS and his new teacher!! I don't know if anyone remembers, but this year DS's teacher is going to retire after this school year. He had heard stories about how mean she was. He said he had heard her "YELLING" at some of the other students last year. He was NOT looking forward to this year of school at all.
The other day when he came home from school, I asked him how he liked Mrs. F. He said that she was really nice and doesn't talk in a low mean voice like he thought she did. He also said that she doesn't yell if you fart in class. I asked him who farted and, you guessed it, he did!!! I asked if any of the kids said anything and he said the kid next to him just smiled. Evidently last year's teacher would more or less tell them not to do that. But he thinks Mrs. F. is nice because she doesn't yell if you pass gas!!! :rotfl2:

Donna, your son would not like my Emma then! She will loudly tattle on anyone who farts. She'll point right at your butt, then cover her mouth and nose with her hands and yell "GAS!" repeatedly until you acknowledge that yes, you did a gas.

Angela, thanks for the picture, you all look so nice! It's so nice to 'see' who we are 'talking' to.

Update on the candle saga... Mom tried again now that the night shift is back on (she had to go to Home Depot anyway) and they had my candle right there. So yay for me! Again!

:lmao: ha ha I love that fart story. Nick (DH) even got a kick out of that one.

momintn - you have such a nice looking family!

lyzziesmom - oh well at least you came close. Maybe you can find a candle at wdw that will match the color scheme :teeth: I just read your post thats great! you of course can still find a wdw candle ;)

Tattletale!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Glad you got your candle back!!! How many more days?? is it 6 or 7 ?

Next Friday! We have to get up at 3:30am to get to the airport. It's the only time I don't mind waking up early!! Usually I'm a bit of a hooty owl, but when I have a plane to catch, I love early mornings, when it's still cool outside and it feels like nobody else is awake. Somehow it's very different than when I'm still awake at 3:30am.

Lyzziesmom - I know you all ready have an offer for a babysitter but i figure 2 kids = 2 babysitters. I don't pack light and I love to eat, but heck Im alot of fun :teeth: I can get a countdown timer in a flash

Donna, our boys would get along great! My dh got a prank gift at an office exchange last Christmas (actually he bought it and made sure he traded to get it back) it's a fart machine with a remote. So you can go say put it under the sofa and then press the button once someone sits down. The cats are terrified of it! :rotfl: :lmao: Connor will put the little unit in the back of his pants on his waist and walk around pushing it and making this painful looking faces to go with it! Awww the joys of raising boys... :rotfl2:

Lyzzismom---glad you got your candle back :thumbsup2 And I can't believe your trip is so soon I'm jealous!!! :dance3:

:rotfl2: MY Ds has the remote control one and also one with an electric eye that yells "Fart Detected warning, warning!!'' when you walk in front of it!

Have a good evening, everyone!!! See you in the morning!!! :sunny:

Hi kiddies--

I have one really quick question.----Why are there always commercials for Poptarts, big ol burgers, ice cream and none for oh, let's say broccoli or spinach?? I am sitting here munching on celery and raw almonds--mmmm, and all I keep seeing are commercials for fat ladened foods that look so much better than what I have. Oh well, ce la vie.

Dznyfan---oh to be that young again. I remember my sister pulling some stunts on my parents, but of course, I was an angel. ;) I went through a rebelious time in my early twenties. I stayed in town for college so I still lived with them until I was about 22, maybe. I remember the day I moved out with my exBF, my mom would not talk to me. YIKES--she was not happy.

You better hope that DD never gets ahold of your computer. :teeth:
She is beautiful, btw. And VERY talented, the way you have described her.
I must ask if the hunky male accepted her proposal?? :lmao:

Lyzziesmom--how does taking that much vacation not come out of her vacation time?? I want that deal. Has your company ever heard of the term "fairness"??

Yay for good phone calls!!

Yep, I would definitely get Lyzzie on tape saying that. You never know when that will come in really handy!!

MImom--sorry to hear Matt is still not doing well. Good luck at the doctors'. Hopefully it is something that will heal itself quickly. I am sure this is putting a cramp in his football style. pixiedust: pixiedust:

Pr. Pix---need and want are two different things. Who says you have to need something in order to buy it??

Angela--welcome back!! You're family is darling. I love the look on Ben's face. Thanks for sharing. :)

My uncle had one of the fart machines too and I will never forget the look on my grandma's face at a family get together. We were all (about 20 of us) sitting on her screened in porch and he would trigger the remote but we just kept talking. She would get this strange look on her face and look around at all of us like she was trying to figure out which one of her lovely family members had the "problem". :rotfl2:

Donna--I know what you mean. It does look a bit stuffy, doesn't it?? It's a shame the GC will go to waste though. You know what's funny though---I see Vince Bommarito on the news or Show Me St. Louis all of the time and he seems so down to earth and he is the OWNER. :lmao:

October 17--let's see--I will be eating --let me check--- tea and scones in the afternoon at GF and dinner at the Hoop de do Revue---care to join us??

I wonder if the waiter at Tony's would yell if you passed gas?? :lmao: :lmao:
That's sure a good reason to like your teacher though. Smart kid you have there. :smooth:

You girls are out of control. Now straighten up and fly right. :rotfl: I'm glad my boys aren't reading because they would feel deprived that we do not own such "lively" toys.

mommyintn...great picture! Thanks for sharing.

Well, I have to make my time tonight short and sweet. :smokin:

Catch you guys tomorrow. :sunny:
