Yummmm...thanks for the muffins Donna... So we are staying at the POFQ... Ashley and Nicole...are you sure you want your own room. Did you guys read the thread about bringing sleeping bags and cooking ramen noodles and beenie wienies in the coffee pot(they say you can even cook an egg in one)...it would save some money. Of course Donna would need to bring an extra coffee pot for coffee. Something to think about.

good morning precious pixie...my kids start school this Thursday and they actually got up today at about 6:45. That's not so unusual for my 9 year old but my 6 year old is a late sleeper. I then had to drag myself out of bed Now I need to do some exercise... whew...that will about do.

Awesome muffins Donna, I started Weight Watchers again last week to get a few lbs off and all I had this morning was Quaker instant oatmeal (weight control). It wasn't bad but it wasn't blueberry muffins!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Saturday we took the kids to Brookfield Zoo. It was a great day! They gave out free beanie babies, the kids were beside themselves. We went first thing in the morning and all the animals were out and about. I think that is the first time I have ever been to a zoo that the animals weren't just laying around. I do have to say that I was rather sad looking at some of the animals. Quite a few were just staring at the walls. The polar bear would come out from behind a wall (that leads to his inside den) walking backwards swinging his head, then he would walk back behind the wall. He did this over and over. We watched him for about 5 minutes talking about how sad it was his area was so small. I miss the Detroit Zoo. Most of the animals have a good size habitat especially the polar bears.

Yesterday we finally went and saw Pirates. DD said we were probably the last people on earth to see it. Johnny sure was a hottie!

Well I officially now have 2 addiction. The dis boards and that stupid oceangram. I don't know how I can possibly get all I need to get done cause I can't get off this computer. I woke up at 6 this morning and this is all I have accomplished. Sad! Very sad!

I have comcast coming out today. We are switching to their phone, Internet, cable package. I hope I don't have any problems with the phone part.

I think there are a few of us trying to shed a pound or two...one of them being me. I had a bad day yesterday but I'm hopeful...I need to get to the store for a few healthy items. How does the oatmeal taste...is that the one with extra protein and fiber?

I will have a DS starting third grade and one starting first grade. This will be the first year that both of my boys go all day I might change that to a tear later but right now I'm thinking I work on Thur and Fri...so I think I wont get tired of my three free days. (can you tell I'm excited for those days) I'll probably be on the thread boring the heck out of everyone. I hope Connor has a great week.

You gals have been busy this morning! School starts on Thursday for Lyzzie as well, but luckily I don't have to get her up any earlier than usual. She gets up at 6:30 already since I have to drop the kids at my mom's house before I go to work. I've just got to work on getting her to bed earlier, since she's been on 'summer bedtime' which is a little more flexible. Last night I let her stay up to watch "The Parent Trap" and this morning she was quite a bear!

I wonder if I'll get any work done today? It's a busy week for me, hard to concentrate on work. We close on the house tomorrow and then Meet the Teacher day is Wednesday, and then the first day of school on Thursday! *whew*

Fortunately (for my head) the wake up is over the phone. I'm at work at 7:30. She wasn't too bad this morning - kind of grunted and said she figured thats why I called her so early. She'll be really unhappy when I give her the list of chores for the day.

lyzziesmoms...I could have typed this post myself. We meet the teachers on Wed and start school on Thur! We also have been very liberal with bedtime this summer. Last night it was 10:30 but I hope with the early morning we can get it closer to 9ish tonight. During the school year I would love 8:30 but I know myself and DH and 9:00 will be a good night.

I keep a cheat sheet too . I have to write everything down. I feel more organized that way..and I won't forget things! Oh...I can't wait to see how much I can work from home. I've been driving this commute for the past 7 years and this would really change my life!! 3 hrs a day not driving $25 a day not going in my gas tank..... Oh...I'm praying!!!!! BW3's has the best wings ever!!! Don't blame you for ds being out after DARK on a bike ride, glad he's ok!!!

Anyway, I also found out that my sister had to put their 13yr. old Wiemeriener (sp??) down today.

Hey there! So sorry about your sisters dog. They can be just like one of the family!! I'm holding up good. Keeping busy shopping, that is easy for me to do. Sat. we went and bought carpet for the office and looking for office furniture !! That's had me pretty excited!! We went and visited family too. It was guard drill weekend and the guys invited us up to play cards and drink but Mikes back was hurting and didn't want to leave. I can't blame him for that.

September 13th is a great day to move!! That is my 20th wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been 20 years already. Most days I don't feel old enough. some days unfortunately I feel much older.

Happy early Anniversary! Time flies doesn't it! Congratulations Michele!!!

Hey there Kenny starts Kindergarten next WED!!! I still can't believe it! Thanks, I'm trying very hard to keep busy as can be. Tonight I'm going to try to call him again. All I have are their cell #'s and the reception isn't always the best... Worst case I can call my own cell to hear his voice. He's the one on my phone its from a few years ago and says "leave my mom a message and she'll call you back" It's so cute!!! Yes, I sure hope they let me work from home a lot!!! That would just be so incredible.
