Well I did some spreadsheet planning, thanks to the crowd calendar now being available it was a little easier, and I called to book the GF photo shoot! One question for those of you who have done it: I forgot to ask where to meet the photographer!!

I say that.....and every trip I take, I have a spreadsheet in Excel that has each restaurant we are going to eat at that has prices of the meals we would probably order....including tax and tip.....

And I can pretty much nail exactly how much we will spend.

GENERALLY, I do the same.

However, technically, you are only supposed to tip on food & drink.

Update on apartment situation- Jeremiah sent the application in and we're just waiting now to see if we're approved. Unfortunately the apartment wouldn't be available until Feb 8- and our lease would be up before then- and the rental truck is only for 5 days- and nobody wants to have us at their house with a dog and 2 cats- but hey, I'm not stressing.............

DznyFan, I got excited for a second when I read the dining plan still includes the appetizer- then I read the update.. I wish they gave a choice of 1 or the other.

Lesa- good luck at the mall, if it were that cold here I'm pretty sure I would refuse to go outside.... Tell us how the movie is!

2x- I don't have the problem with my batteries at all...Do you use rechargeables? I use my LCD all the time too and haven't had a problem. Do you have the recipe for the original cake? Or do you just not add pumpkin?

Donna- I will be much happier being close to family. I'm pretty excited about the location of the apartment complex- right down the street from everybody.

Pozey- I love goatees on guys I make Jeremiah keep his even though sometimes he gets annoyed by it. He is starting to get a gray hair or two Don't tell him that

Good luck with moving. Mike and I were just talking about moving too. I would love to just pack up and leave, but since we own a home (and the market isn't good) it looks like we will be staying put. I swear if I could, I would just leave the house and go to FL. I told Mike last night to call his mom and tell her we were going to move in with her.

My job makes us use two weeks of vacation/sick time before short term disability kicks in (we get four weeks of that). So, it looks like I will be taking 6 weeks. We can take as much time as we like, but if we don't have extra vacation/sick time, it's unpaid. I have been praying this whole time that I don't need to to go out early (bedrest), because it means less time I can spend with him.

lyzziesmom...you should be able to see pics now oh I forgot..the fall cruise, not sure. Mike is telling me I better book SOG for THIS Christmas NOW like I'm going to argue there! I doubt he'd go for both better talk to him about that!

dznyfan...I do those sheets too. I went crazy this trip and even printed ALL the restaurants menus and laminated them and all this crazy stuff it was fun. I knew real close to what we would spend too. I did like pozey, figured what we'd order and put that total on the sheet for the budget NO, they didn't add the 18% on ours. I thought that started Jan 1 though
I always figured the tip on the total as well. oops! oh well. the pics were just the 2400 I took on our trip and our photopass pics

Morning everyone! Well today is the day, Lyzzie's much-feared dental appointment. I will be going to hold her hand over my lunch hour and hopefully it'll go well. I'm just hoping they'll have her new teeth ready before vacation and our photo shoot! Which reminds me... I have a phone call to make. I just wanted to check in and say hello to all my friends.
