morning everyone!!!!
I was so tired last night that I just had the energy to bake Pozey's birthday cake, so I'll try to catch up a bit now.
Ash----welcome home!!!!
I know it's a scary thing with Jeremiah's job, but try to think positively in the fact that you get to move back home!!! I know that is what you have been wishing for and how wonderful to have family close.
Your pics are great!!!!! How did you like the S5???? The one drawback I am finding is that mine is draining the batteries really quickly and I'm not even using it. I don't know if this is normal, so I need to look into it.
You and your mom are twins!!!!!
Michele----I love your scrapbook!!! I guess you are excused for spending so much time there and not with us.

Oops, who am I to talk???? I barely find the time to check in anymore and feel lowsy about that. Always good to see you though and keep up the good work.
Lesa----welcome home to you, too. Glad you had a good time with your family.
Good luck to you once more in getting everything straightened out with Maddie.
I loved the chipmunk movie-----hope you do too. Stay warm.
YM-----love the pics!!!! You looked so pretty on your birthday-----definitely not a ?????yr old.
but where's your ponytail????
Donna----thanks for breakfast!!!! My drive wasn't too bad yesterday----actually I got to work about 15 min. early. Too bad.

On the way home I had to swing by the Galleria, so I took Olive St. Rd., then Clayton Rd. home. Monday will be the test, though, because I have a feeling people are still home for the holidays.
Nathan's a growing boy-----I suppose he could eat a house.
Lyzziesmom----I think Donna explained the leaving early for work situation perfectly. Yep, they decided to close
completely one of the most highly traffic(c??)ed interstates for at least one year. (I've even heard 2 years.) I, of course, live in the city and work in the burbs.
Love the idea of the countdown. I just need a trip now to count down.
Pozey----the video of Courtney and April is adorable!!! I had their little song stuck in my head for a bit the other night when I viewed it. Too cute.
Linda----lovely to be back, huh??
I know a long time ago, you said someone you knew had some "secret" rest. recipes. Any chance having the Outback Sydney's Sinful Sundae???? I know it is toasted coconut, but I need the homemade chocolate sauce. Every recipe says Hershey's sauce microwaved, but I know for a fact that is NOT right. It is a richer, thicker sauce, but I can't find it. Just thought maybe that one may be on your list??? If not, no big deal. Thanks if you have a minute to check.
Saturday is my dad's birthday and he loves this sundae, but we are not going to Outback but a different local steakhouse, but we don't want to go to another place just for dessert, so I thought I may try to duplicate it????
My hands are freezing and having a hard time typing, so I will call it quits for now.
Hi to Amber (feel better

), Nicole (starting your countdown??), DznyFan (yay for planning and yes---he's sexy NO MATTER WHAT

), Shannon (you and Ash are TWINS

), Lin, and anyone I'm forgetting???
oh, and one more thing-----about the recipe I gave in my Christmas card------Gooey Butter Cake is "supposedly" a St. Louis thing, or at least that is what they claim, although it has caught on everywhere, I think. Anyway, we always had gooey butter cake for breakfast when I was growing up and it was yummy. This is a "holiday" version with the pumpkin. Remember to not overbake. Enjoy.
