drgnfly30 and disneylizzy -- you all have great taste!

I, too, am a Viggo fan. I melt just thinking about him!

Gasp!

Did Bojangles tear up all those paper towels??

Why, Ruby just LOVES to tear up the Charmin mega rolls! From my tag, you can all see that is VERY bad!!!

Good evening everyone!

I checked in this morning, but then had to work for a while. I am self-employed so I have an erratic schedule - sometimes I'll be on the DIS all day and then there are days when I don't get a chance to even look at it.

I'm catching up on reading what's happened since I was last here...then I'll post some more!

Yes.. actually it WAS a brand spanking new box of Kleenex!!!

My dog is a paper dog too, she will steal napkins and paper towels and eat them. I try to get them from her but when I come, she devours them like its a steak

It's so weird that dogs like paper.

My dog steals paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, sheets of paper, and chews it and eats it! I don't get it, she gets so excited when she sees any paper!! :confused3

Hi Everyone! Welcome to all the newbies!!

Just came back from the self storage place. DH and I are moving and so everything like winter clothes and things that we won't need to stage/show the house are being packed up. Today we rented a storage unit. DH finally remarked, "It really feels like we're moving."

I on the other hand think I did myself in today. I'm 6 weeks post-op from laprascopic surgery and I lifted two very heavy boxes today. Now I'm paying the price with pain at the site of my belly button excision. Hope I didn't mess anything up :worried: but I thought I'd be ok at 6 weeks. :confused3

Christine, how's your DH's foot doing?

Cool tags, Lyzziesmom!

epcotfan, you're a member!

shep, your little girls are cutie pies!

OK, I'm all caught up. Looks like I missed out on wisdom teeth and toilet paper conversations and the work and family clique things. So...to catch you all (or y'all as we say here in NC ;) ) up on me - here goes:

Since I'm self employed, no cliques at work! :woohoo: I am a Realtor and work out of a small office (we have about 15 people) but I only go in there as needed to meet clients, etc. so if there are any cliques I am way out of the loop. I don't think there are any though.

Family cliques are definitely around on DH's side of the family, we just stay out of everyone else's business and don't get involved so no problem there!

Wisdom teeth - I still have mine because I have been terrified to get them out! And I don't think I want to after reading some of those other posts!

Toilet paper - I'm a 'semi-snob'! I do take my own when we travel but I can use a few different brands (Charmin, Northern, and Angel Soft).

Where are you moving to?

His feet (yes both of them!) are doing fine.. they are still numb from the surgery but he's already starting to drive me crazy!

Hi Cyndi - How do you like Charlotte? I ask because I'm constantly thinking about where I should move to when the last child is out of the nest in about 5 years. NC would be much nicer winter-wise than Mass. (and closer to WDW :rolleyes1 )

Be careful! Hope you are feeling better soon!

Charlotte is great! I have lived here my whole life so I might be a little biased though. I like that we have beach and mountains within an easy driving distance, we have all four seasons, and the winters are pretty mild. Come on down for a visit!

Husbands will do that. <wink, wink> ;)

We are going to be moving to the Upstate of South Carolina. We used to live there. Actually we two Yanks met and married there. We loved it but I thought I needed to be closer to my family. Ever hear the saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder?" I should have listened.

Thank you. :goodvibes I've taken some medicine and I'll probably be calling it a night soon. Here's to hoping that a good night's rest will fix me right up.

disneylizzy (and anybody else who wants to), you should try out this cool site called Find Your Spot. Even if you're not ready to move right now it's really cool to see what some of the suggested spots are.

ForTheLoveofDisney: Hope you feel better soon! I've had one of those procedures and they are not fun! Do you have really good pain meds? I had to take several while I recovered. Hope ya feel better in the morning :thumbsup2
