I only work part-time but some of my work "friends" thought I didn't like them at first...which was simple not true. I'm reserved but then when they get to know me they realize I'm a bit of "goof" (my words)

Yep, I have heard the saying. And that kind of says what I was trying to say. I will "hold back" on some of my so-called "wit" until I get to know people better.

Ooohhh Goody -- a cliqueless and tagless thread. I must admit, I have been welcomed by a few very nice threads. I understand they have "known" eachother for awhile and I lurk and hang until I can chime in.

Obviously, I am completely untagged and looks like I'm keeping it that way. Not that I'm against tagging, it just seems to elude me. Nice to be in such good company. I recognize a few from other posts.

This morning I had to schedule with the dentist to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. What makes it even worse is the only time they can get me in before my new job starts is on my birthday! Talk about a horrid b-day!Has anyone ever have this done? I'm pretty nervous as I have NO tolerance for pain at all! They said it will be pretty bad for 2 days because I'm female. What does that have to do with anything? Any advice or info. would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oh dolphinrescuegirl, so sorry that you have to do this on your birthday.
I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was 18. Talk about an experience! The very best advice I can give is DO NOT suck on any straws!!! I got something called dry socket and it was the most painful excruciating pain I have ever had!! I had to have them "packed" whatever that means but it did relieve the pain.

ETA: Well now I feel silly after reading the other threads and they told you not to suck out of straws.

We're toilet paper snobs too. I admit it.
When we go to Disney, I pack a roll or two of Charmin in the suitcase.
When we just went to my sister in law's in Georgia we took some Charmin.

Other toilet paper, especially the paper (litterally it feels like scratchy paper) at Disney, has caused me some major irritation and who needs that on vacation?

I carry those little packs of Charmin toilet paper travel packs in my purse when I go places. Especially for the airport! YIKES!!
