So...did you order some pizza? Happy packing!

Pozey- Great pics! I wish I knew how to swim better. Thanks! A pm is on it's way!

Nice wine Linda! :thumbsup2 (thumb) I'm enjoying it in my Mickey Martini glass.

Thanks Pozey!

Nice pictures of the swim meet. That cast is pretty big...great for him to still be there competing!

yeah, the cast is huge.

It comes up well on his wrist, and it also wraps his pinky, ring, and index fingers together.

I'll get a picture of cast tomorrow.

VENT! Skip if you want to!

I have had a personal training membership that was quite unhappy with. I never had time to go, and when I did go the trainers were young and kind of stupid (for instance, did you know that the way to lose weight is to "drink protein shakes" thats it, no more, no dietary advice, no work out advise, just that.) I tried to cancel in April and the guy told me that if I cancelled I would lose all my unused sessions, so I decided to hold off in hopes that I would find some time. In September I went in and spoke to a different manager, who told me that since I had paid for the sessions they were mine, whether I cancelled or not. So I sent in a letter, be certified mail I might ad, cancelling the darn membership even though I had close to 30 unused sessions. I mailed them the letter on September 27th, and it was recieved on September 28th. I JUST got a letter from them stating that my last billing was September 28th, and I had until December 12th to use my unused sessions. The letter is dated October 18th, was mailed on October 23rd, and we recieved it yesterday, October 26th. Why did it take them a month to get this letter to me? A month of time I could have been using these darn sessions? They didn't even mail it the day they freaking wrote it! And it is NOT what the manager at our gym told me! In my letter I included a phone number and email address for them to contact me, and they didn't at all, just took their sweet time sending this darn letter! I am sooooooo mad! How am I supposed to fit in 30 sessions in a little over a month?

Grrrr.....sorry guys.

Note to self- Wine and chocolate chip cookie cake don't mix!

YM- Great pics! Your DS is a cute Jack Sparrow!

Hi Nicole! Does this mean you got the wine open.;) Wasn't the rumor ginger snaps and wine or something like that?:rolleyes1

We'll hello there Lesa...could you help Nicole pair her wine with something tasty?:lmao:

Sorry Lin, that really stinks! Do you belong to lifetime or another gym? I ask because the sounds like something Lifetime would do.

We belong to LA Fitness, but they don't handle Personal Training at all. Body of Change is the company that does their PT stuff and is independently owned and run. If I call my gym and ask them anything about PT they haven't a clue and transfer me. Chris has been going really early in the AM's and there is never anyone at the Body of Change desk. I have no idea how to get ahold of them. The letter they sent has no phone number and is signed "quality assurance department"

Maddie didn't get to cheer at her game today. It was a not so good asthma day. Dh and I were talking and I do believe this same week every year she gets sick and has problems with her asthma. I think last year was the first Halloween party at school that she was able to attend. I wonder what it is about this particular week.

Britt had 2 games this evening. Only half the girls showed up, none of the trouble makers showed up.. I stayed home with Maddie, but dh said it was the best they have ever looked.

I got the new cheer pictures tonight, they are so much better. The only thing is they took them in front of a big ratty pine tree.:confused3 Both girls look so beautiful, so that makes up for the stupid tree! I'll try and scan it in tomorrow.
