Nicole, Congrats on the 1500 posts!!

Ashley, could you pay OOP for another TS meal and then use that credit to eat at Jiko or Artist Point? Jiko sounds really good, but we are trying Boma this time. If you decide to keep Le Cellier, you may find something else you like more.
We are paying OOP for Rainforest. I love the crab dip. We don't go there too often since we have to drive to Towson, MD. I liked it much better when it was in Tyson's because they have a Disney store there too.
Good Luck deciding.

I am so excited, my grandmother just got me another pair of Crocs (black) for $2.99!!! :Pinkbounc She works in a catalog distribution center. Anytime someone returns an item, it goes into a store for the employees for a BIG discount. Someone just returned these and she got them for me. They are brand new/never worn (they picked sent the wrong color. It was supposed to be navy). I just wish that they would carry the Disney crocs, but they won't. :guilty:

Amber,
We go to Tyson's all the time! Thats where we were going to go this weekend, but I just didn't feel like it. I was really sad to see that they closed the Rainforest Cafe there! I don't know why, it was always busy!! We live about 15 miles from there. DH actually works right across the street from there, he can see the mall from his 14th story office window! Wow, what a great deal on Crocs! What size do you wear? I normally wear a 7 1/2-8 in shoes but I wear a size small in Crocs! :confused3 I really want a pair in black & khaki!!

ETA: I've never heard of Disney crocs! What do they look like?

I live about an hour from Tyson's (depending on traffic of course).

My crocs are a L, but I normally wear a 9 (regular shoe). If I get the M Crocs, my toe touches the front.

The Disney crocs are suppose to be released this fall (no idea of an actual date). They are suppose to have Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story, princess, etc. The only pictures I have seen are the Mickeys.

Hi!! Everyone!!!!
Hope this Monday has been a good one!!
Lyzziesmom::DH didn't mention that security was particularly bad, so guess it wasn't. Wowser!!! 4 more days!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Ashley, Nicole & pozey::: I AM NOT STAYING IN A ROOM WITH HONEYMOONERS!!! Enough Said!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: pozey will have to get his own room!!! :rotfl:

Amber::Wasn't it you talking about Sonny's BBQ the other day? We ate at one while we were in Orlando. We usually try to eat there at least once during a Florida trip!! It's really yummy, but now we have a place nearer to us called Bandanas that is just as good, just not a good choice of side dishes.

Dh called from MIL's house earlier today. He told me she had decided against living with us permantly, but might for a little while until she can find her own apartment or someplace else to live. But at least she will be near to us!!
I am suppoed to be doing some calling around to see what's available.

Well, better go start supper. Talk to you later. :sunny:

Oh boy...76 laps left in the race..I don't think I'm gonna make it...I'm tired!! Mike is going to have to watch it alone!! Yeah...he's been watching it alone all night I guess. I've been here on the computer
I Just noticed this as I was re-reading!!! Did your DH watch the race at Bristol too? I Dissed and took a nap!!! But I think Matt Kenseth won!!! :rotfl2:

yep he sure did :teeth: I actually did make it throught the race...but just barely... I thought 76 laps would take a LONG time...it wasn't that bad.

Good to hear your mil will try to live close to your family. Sounds like she really doesn't want to be a burden or give up her independence...which should be a great thing :goodvibes Good luck!!

lyzziesmom 4 days :Pinkbounc I'm so excited for you!!! Do some shopping for me at dtd ok :teeth:!!!!

time to read to Kenny and get his little hiney to bed.... 20 more years til he can ask Courtney out ;)!!

We went to the new house today and got the kitchen ceiling done... I got this awesome wallpaper that looks just like a pressed tin ceiling. It actually went pretty well, but I would NOT suggest to anyone to try wallpapering a ceiling! It was hard work and man my neck and arms are sore now! But it looks fantastic (sorry no pictures yet) and I'm very proud of myself. At one point my dad dropped his end of the wallpaper and it fell paste side down on me as I was reaching up, and I uttered a phrase I've never heard on Trading Spaces: "Aaack! You just wallpapered my armpit!" Fun times.

I've got most of my packing done for the trip, I can't think of any last-minute items I forgot to buy, and I even made my lime green Mickey heads!
08-28-2006083127PM.jpg

Now I just have to wait for my plane. This is why I usually save packing for the night before! At least I'll have enough to do at work to keep my mind off the waiting... this part drives me nuts!

All this talk about BBQ makes me laugh... here in Kansas City we are very proud of our BBQ. I'm not 'from' here, and I don't really care for it that much, but heaven forbid I should say that or people look at me like I've just sprouted a third eyeball. We don't have any of those places you guys have mentioned, we have Jack Stack, KC Masterpiece, Zarda and right by my new house is this little BBQ place that looks like it used to be a Taco Viva... it's called Wyandotte BBQ and it's the grossest place I've ever been to! The staff yells at everyone, they serve everything topped with a slice of white bread slathered with BBQ sauce (?), their only side item is beans, and it's just gross. I was there exactly once, my ex said it was a great place and I was horrified when the guy in the kitchen was smoking as he was making the food. Ick!

Well I'm off to read Ms. Plum and go to sleep. No hooting for me tonight!

Hey, lyzziesmom!! The kitchen ceiling sounds really cool!! Wish I had some imagination!!! Did you do the writing yourself on the Mickey head? I love the Disney font!! :thumbsup2
I shall make a note to never try Wyandotte BBQ. Sounds like a case of food poisoning waiting to happen !!!!
Just talked to DH and asked him about security. He said it was no problem, but his plane left about 7am. Don't you have an early flight, too?

Hi guys! I shamefully admit that I do not have the time to read the 5 pages I have missed since last logging on. I hope all is going well for everyone :teeth:

I just got home from my first class! It was great the professor had a very enthusiastic personality which is perfect for evening classes. I have a lot of work to do at home because tomorrow is supposed to be our second class but is canceled because of Ernesto. Thursday our first assignment is due and he wants to stay on track as much as possible since next week is also a short week with the holiday.

Well I remember pages ago people complaining about walmart, let me tell you you haven't seen anything until you have seen "right before the storm" walmart. It was a little bit of this :crowded: and a very big headache :headache: Some people are so obnoxious it is unbelievable. I am glad that we all ready had a lot of the staples (flasshlights, candles, batteries, etc) and all I really bought was a ton of water. I am also gald I filled up on saturday. The lines were  Nick was not as smart as I and waited in line for an hour. I told him it wasnt even worth it but he said he was in the red and really needed it anyway (silly boy always waiting until the last minute)

We really aren't worried about Ernesto. The biggest thing will be the power outages and we are as prepared as 2 people can be. We only wish that we could have generators in our bldg bc of the heat ( it is sooooooo hot and humid :sad2: ). We have a lot of water and one very small battery operated fan. Probably an hour before the first bands start to hit I turn the ac down all the way to like 55 that keeps the apt cooler longer when the electric does go out, it's inevitable(?). I hope its not out too long I can't go withour my Dis. I feel tortured just not being on yesterday and his morning!

Well I do hope everyone is well. :grouphug: I will probably read the pages I missed tomorrow. I have to go read a couple chapters in my book.

Goodnight everybody :wave2:

Thanks Donna, I'll be taking more pictures of the house as it gets done. It's a loooong process but it's really turning out nicely. I'm still not sure how the furniture is going to be arranged, but I'll figure it out. I like to move things around!

I printed the writing on the Mickey heads. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it, but I print it out on paper first, then tape the Mickey heads over the printing and run it through the printer again, so I get the placement right. In hindsight, this probably would have been easier to do before peeling the heads off the backing. I also messed up a batch so I will try to stop by Home Depot tomorrow to get more. Good thing there's one right by my work!

I'm glad security lines aren't too bad, yes we have an early flight, just before 7am as well. Hopefully it'll go well, we just have to remember all the stuff we can't bring in our carryons anymore! I hope we can still bring fruit snacks or Emma will go ballistic - she makes this face that is very similar to the last picture pozey posted of Courtney playing baseball and screams enough to make a banshee flinch. That's why I call her my squeaky wheel! I try to outlast her tantrums, but I do find myself giving in before the migraine attacks.

Ok now I'm going to bed for REAL this time!!

CONGRATULATIONS

To the CLIQUELESS CHICAS AND THE MAN---

Hi everyone!

Hey 2xcited! How was your day???

I'm pretty excited because my travel agent from the Magic For Less e-mailed me that she sent my travel documents! Yay!! I should get them sometime this week!!

Lyzziesmom,
The house sounds like its really coming together! I can't wait to see pics when its done!!

Precious Pixie, I know all too well about the hurricane drama. Thats the one thing I don't miss about South Florida! I grew up in Plantation and just moved away in December 2004. Thats also the one thing I'm not looking forward to when I move home! I hope you stay safe, and don't lose power for too long! Last year, my mom lost her power for 17 days!

I feel so out of the loop from today---you all were just a chattin' away.

I had a very strange afternoon/early evening. I got home from work about 4:30 this afternoon, made a few phone calls and then sat down to read a bit. I remember looking at the clock very groggily and it was 5:30. The next thing I knew my phone was ringing and it was my mom on the other end. She asked what I was doing and I told her I was sleeping and asked her what time it was. She replied, "7:30, around that." So, she continues to talk to me about something ?? and the whole while I am thinking to myself "okay, Tuesday, what do I need to do this morning?? Boy, it must be storming because it is kind of dark outside. What am I going to wear to work??" I can imagine my face perplexed and all of a sudden I cut her off mid-sentence and said, "hold on for a minute----is it Tuesday morning 7:30 or Monday night 7:30??" :teeth: :teeth: I hate when that happens. That's what I get for working such a crazy schedule. My body never knows what the routine is, because one doesn't exist.

PD needed once again in this Pin-cess's life. I got a letter today from one of my doctor's offices saying that my insurance company denied payment for some treatments last month----to the tune of $14,600. gulp. Hence the phone calls I had to make this afternoon and many more tomorrow morning. The thing that scares me is that I have to have these treatments done every month for who knows how long and they are really even more expensive than this. double gulp. My place of business changed insurance companies back in April and I have been having some issues ever since but nothing like this.

For all of you Plum fans, I think my Grandma might have pulled a Grandma Mazur today. My Grandpa and my dad own a business and my grandma worked there for many years but about 10 years ago decided (I think they decided for her ;) ) to stay home. She has had some health issues and to put it very nicely----don't think she's completely home all the time--if you know what I mean. Well, evidentally she doesn't want to be in their condo all of the time anymore, or something to that affect, so they decided she can go back to the office for 2 days a week. I suppose today was her first day back and this is where I think it resembles G. Mazur----she walked around the entire shop (about 70 people in total) and handed each and every one of them her business card--like they didn't know who she already was. :sad2: :sad2: This is my Italian grandma, btw. It reminded me of when G. Mazur wanted a job from cousin Vinnie.

Anyway, this was my day--or highlights thereof. Exciting, huh??
I am going to catch up on all of your chattiness now.

Oh, before I forget----for all of you pet owners--I was speaking with a friend and somehow got on a conversation about dogs and she was saying that she read not too long ago in Dog Fancy magazine that ceramic bowls give off some sort of toxin?? So stainless bowls only for your little guys. I thought this was very interesting because my parents have a one yr. old Westie and she has to have her stomach scoped tomorrow for some intestinal difficulties lately. She has also had some major allergy problems since they got her when she was a teeny puppy. The interesting part is that my parents took my niece and nephew to one of the "paint your own" places and guess what they made for their two dogs---yep, ceramic bowls. Anyway, who knows.

But, my question-----don't we eat off of ceramic?? hhmmmm.

Don't even get me started on all of the toxins and "stuff" that are in everyday things. :furious:

okay, NOW I am going to catch up on your chattiness. :smokin:

Donna----thanks for the directions to DoubleTree Suites. I was almost positive they were somewhere in that area. Were they nice?? Do you get chocolate chip cookies before beddy-by?? :teeth: (isn't DoubleTree known for this??)

Thanks, too for the healthy breakfast this a.m. I am storing all of my fat-ladened treats for October now.

Good luck on finding MIL a place to live. And for the time she is living with you. ;) Is this a good MIL situation or a not-so-good?? cuz you know the MIL stereotype.

Lyzziesmom---did you like Finding Neverland?? I cry like a baby every time!! The kids are so darn cute, esp. Peter and Michael.---not to mention you know who. :p I just adore the music, too and how they fit everything perfectly to each scene. For some reason, I love the kite scene. Beautifully done!! It is such an innocent little film.

Too funny---I overslept this morning too. Woke up at 6:50---had to be at work at 7. It takes me 25 minutes with no traffic. Do the math. :teeth: Luckily I didn't have a client until later though. My sleeping late had absolutely nothing to do with my going to bed at 3am though. :teeth: Knee problems again. :teeth: (another)

I think you and I have similar tastes. I wanted to re-do my kitchen and wanted to do a tin ceiling. They are so gorgeous. I never knew they had wallpaper to resemble. At my rate though, I will probably move before I redo my kitchen. It will most likely be less expensive, too.

Very creative on your Mickey head!!!

We used to have KC Masterpiece here in St. Louis, but I think they closed. :confused3

YM---I have the strangest craving for cherry twizzlers. that's a fruit, right?? I have been doing really well, though. Watching everything that goes into my mouth. Now, the :yay: :yay: ---that's a different story. Seems that I have forgotten how to put my tennies on.

Amber---I used to know someone who bought every single gift and more from QVC. Be careful with that one--you think you are not spending but it adds up fast.
Are the Disney crocs something new?? Do you happen to know where they sell them??

Nicole--hope you had a good weekend with your DBF's sis and kids. Did you get to do anything fun??
Congrats on 1500!!!!!!!  :cheer2: :cheer2:

Pozey---You can't stop a little girl on a mission. too cute. She doesn't seem to be held back by any disabilities. I love the one where she is J-U-U-U-S-T about toooo hiiiit thaaaaat baaaaalllllll. aaannnd SWING.
Oh, and don't we all look like that in the morning??

Pozey said:
I'm trying to work out a deal with DW.......I'm trying to get her to allow me to go to Disney World with any stranger I can find......as long as said stranger pays for my entire trip and brings me home in some sembance of my original condition.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Mrs. Pozey is a good sport!!!

Anyone taken you up on your offer yet??

Do you REALLY look like JD?? :rolleyes1 Hmmm, might not be a bad deal.

DznyFan--glad to hear you are okay with the hurricane.
Are you getting ready for your trip to Chicago?? Have you decided on lunch here in St. Louis, or will you wing it??

Linda----so, in 20 years--are we all invited to this arranged marriage of Kenny and Courtney?? ---their names do sound cute together, don't they??
I think you need to go into business with Hallmark writing greeting cards. :teeth: :lmao:

Ashley---I don't know if you eat chicken, but LeCellier has a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch that is pretty good. It has BBQ sauce and chedder and is served on sort of an English muffin type thing. I haven't checked out the menu changes, though, so maybe this is still on?? I cannot believe they would take the French Dip off the menu!!
I would love to try Jiko someday. What about lunch in France?? Great onion soup if you like that.

Pr. Pix---I was wondering about you down there today. Be safe.
Glad to hear you like your class!! :)

I think that will do it for me tonight. I'm pooped.

Signing off. :wave2:

Good Morning Cliqueless Clickers!!
Today we are going to the Polynesian and eating our fruit and muffins in the Concierge lounge. Having a great time talking and laughing about all of the crazy and fun things we did yesterday at WDW!! :grouphug:
le-fruit-bisc-muffins.jpg

Well, I just about lost it when I heard what extremes POZEY is willing endure just to get to WDW!!! It's a sickness I tell ya'!!! :wave2: :goodvibes :teeth: :thumbsup2
Have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!!!!!

Well, now that we're fed I shall recap from yesterday and last night.

2xcited::Sorry to hear about the insurance problem. It seems to be getting worse and worse. I'm sure you'll get things straightened out. If not call your family lawyer?!!? I sometimes regret leaving my previous job to go to work with family(self-employed) just because of the insurance. I quit prior to 9/11 and had NO idea of the impact this would make on our lives!! DH has insurance through his company, but it's terribly expensive for not much coverage!! Perhaps in time this situation can be changed, but don't get me started on the political issues!!! Anyway hugs :grouphug: :grouphug: on your insurance issues!!
When I used to work crazy hours(before DS) I used to do the same thing you do!!! My Dad called one night after I had fallen asleep on the bed and when he said it was 7:00, I said OMG we had to have DH to the Dr. in St. Louis by 7:30!!!! Well, it was Monday evening dad was calling, DH had to be at the Dr. on Tues. morning!!! I know what you're goin' through girlfriend!!!! :goodvibes

Precious Pixie:::Please take care of yourself during Ernesto. When is the hurricane expected to hit, is it today? I'll be thinking of you!!!
So glad you like your professor, will make classes much more interesting!!

To everyone else, I have to run get ready for work!!! Have a great day. Talk to you when I get from work!!! :chat:

Goodmorning everyone. :sunny:

Donna it looks like a great breakfast! I love fruit and muffins! I wish I was at the poly enjoying them. I think I would be sitting in the lobby right by the waterfall. Spend a little toime to relax and then as soon as that breakfast is over make a mad dash for the monorail :smooth:
I also have to tell you that when I first read "have a terrific Tuesday" I thought you were pulling my chain I was so sure it was wednesday. I literally had to sit back and think about it. :lmao: I guess I could use a little more sleep.

Have a magical day everyone :wizard:
