I am busy busy busy at work this week & next, gearing up for my vacation. I've got to get all my 'ducks in a row' and prepare to train a temp to fill in while I'm gone. I always get nervous about having a temp come in, because when I did temp work I filled in at one place and then was offered the job permanently. I asked what about the girl who went on vacation? and they said, "Oh, we'll just fire her. We like you better." So now I'm always paranoid about that happening to me when I'm on vacation!

We are taking a break from working on the house today, so I can get more packing done. I was soooo tired yesterday, but I ended up staying up late to do laundry. Oh joy. Today I can barely keep my eyes open - I think I drifted off this morning while stopped at a red light!

How are the girls doing with all of the change?? I sure it is exciting for them.
My sister and her family are moving next week and we are all trying to be so upbeat for the kids. Well, my niece (7) asked my sister the other day if it is okay to be sad. I think she is confused because she knows the situation she if faced with but we are all smiles. It will be heartwrenching but we'll make it.

Take care of yourself with all this you are doing. But still know we are waiting for pics.

Lyzziesmom... it'll be ok! Your boss was in tears when she thought you were leaving!!! Relax and enjoy your vacation! No need to feel paranoid, you are a great mom and worker...everyone sees that. If anything, they'll appreciate you more when you get back!!

Friday night was the rehearsal... and rehearsal dinner. It all went great. Kenny was so darn cute. We were walking into the church and he looks at the flower girl and tells her "this is where you come to learn about god".... Oh... I just want to squeeze him! He is so cute!! She was 8 and just adored Kenny. She came up to me and says... "your son has the biggest cutest brown eyes!" She was a real sweetheart! At the dinner the brides mom asked Kenny how much $ he got to be so well behaved...he gave her the most rotten giggle like "wouldn't you like to know" hehehe....everyone started cracking up

Sat. was the wedding. It was kinda crazy like every wedding I guess... the photographer was late... it was his aunt. She did it as her gift to them. His uncle was the dj, he does school dances and stuff for extra $... so they had it pretty good. Thankfully one of our friends were there and took tons of pix. Actually she took the ones I posted...b/c the aunt had a problem and only 11 pix turned out!!! I don't think the bride and groom know yet !! Yikes!! Hopefully our friend took enough that are really good! I would have a total heart attack. I know there will be tons of Kenny. She loves him to death and Kenny sees her and just starts posing !!! He'll say "how about like this..., and this..."He's so rotten. There were only 4 kids there including Kenny and the flower girl. this one little girl was 5 and kept wanting to dance w/Kenny... so cute!! The other boy was 4 and REALLY hyper. Kenny is so quiet and well behaved. He does what he's told...this kid...omg...ummm just total opposites. His mom was one of the other bridesmaids and she didn't pay a bit of attention to him the entire time we were there both nights... really sad!

Yay for April....ww Way to go!!

Baby nephew Awww!!! Enjoy your day off!! Kenny a mini JD... that would be ok wouldn't it!! If you offer him a tattoo he'll do anything you want! Wedding went great. Reception was a lot of fun..but I'm so glad it's over. Don't have the bride emailing me and calling me constantly flipping I'm just relieved my x had Kenny back in time and the wedding was great...no major problems...well, Mike did forget my digital camera at the church but you'll have that.

Wow. I am so far behind.....I haven't had time to check in very much the past few days.

Well, I sure had an interesting weekend. Some time back, I think I mentioned going to see my youngest brother....

He is a horse trainer. He has trained (and lived) in Northern California, Seattle, Colorado, Texas, New Jersey, Germany, Italy, Arkansas, and in Oklahoma. Well, the past few years he has been so far away and I just never got to see him. A few weeks ago he called and said he was moving back to Oklahoma.

So, we went to see him Saturday. We pretty much spent all day with him. It was a nice visit. He had never seen Courtney, and both boys were very young the last time they saw him. It was great.


Now......On to Sunday......I played golf in a tournament yesterday afternoon. DW and the kids were going to take a television out to my brother's place because he didn't have one. Well, while they are out there, Courtney falls. DW calls and says they are on the way to the emergency room.

Turns out she broke her arm. It's not broken very bad, the doc said. But we have an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor tomorrow.

Thanks He thinks he's smooth!! I think he's going to be a little heartbreaker when he grows up. I hope Courtney is ok! Poor thing. I broke my arm when I was 6 and 12...no fun! Glad it wasn't any worse. Kenny could help her feel better !! He's very sweet and sensitive.

Yes - Llama. And antelope and kangaroo. Now mind you, the 'title' of this event (it's annual) is the "Beast Feast". Some of the guys, including DH are hunters, so it's normal to have things like pheasant and venison at this. Well, one of our [other] friends is a meat supplier to restaurants, and he couldn't attend, so he sent some meat with one of the other guys. I've eaten (and like) some unusual things, but this stuff tasted horrible!
And I do feel better today, thanks for asking!

With the wedding...the weekend lasted about 10 minutes! Who did your designs? I think it was Julia&Nicksmom that did mine for me. She is super nice. She's from OH too. I had her design a few for me and I send Julia and Nick ea. a pin from wdw... so that was cool! 32 more days!! That is awesome!!! I would be getting so excited!!!

I better keep working ... at least I did work from the laptop some yesterday afternoon!

Donna - about an hour after I got into work this morning my boss decides to take all of us (only 4 inluding him in our part of the office) out to breakfast and I had an omelette I kept thinking about you

Linda - It looks like Kenny has the tattoo perfectly places to also show off a little muscle to all the girls at the wedding. We went to a friends wedding in June and there was the cutest boy there who just wanted to sho everyone how he is strong like daddy.

I found out the rate on my private loan today for school and let me tell you it was scarey I guess it can't be great though when prime is at 8.25% and my credit score is good but it isn't in the 800's. My mom is going to co-sign it with me because they said a co-signer always helps the intrest rate to go down. At these rates and I'd like it to drop like the ToT (but just not come back up of course)

Has anyone ever done any of those learn a foreign language programs at home? I'd like to hear the good and the bad. I really want to learn french. I know basics I'd like to eventually become fluent.
